“Professional advice, not pushy at all, very knowledgeable and nothing was any bother. Very helpful and listened to our needs. Did not try to sell us something we did not want. “Got a great deal on a new Kia Picanto from stock at the York branch, all sorted from a phone enquiry within half a day. “Bought a pre-reg 124 Spider from the Middlesborough dealership. Car was delivered to the Midlands. All appeared fine, but it was clear that the car had been a donor for other cars in the fleet. There were no handles in the roof ( just holes) - this was remediated within two months, but the car also had no handbook (the service book belongs to a Fiat 500) and no puncture repair kit. I have tried to pursue a resolution but all communication from them has now ceased. paying £18k deserves better”

“Mark Hodgson provided me with excellent service, when buying a new car at SG Petch Darlington. He ensured I was kept updated throughout the whole process, as I don’t live in the Northeast. He also posted me a couple of things I’d accidentally left in my old car. All staff are friendly and helpful with any enquiries. Would definitely recommend Petch’s to anyone.”

“Could have been better. I ordered a silver Niro for dilivery in December, ( I was told it was extra for silver paint until I pointed out that it was standard paint ) After about eight weeks I was informed that there was no sign of any silver car coming off production and would I like a black one instead ,which I declined .after two weeks I was informed that there was a car ready for collection. After a problem transferring the money, I finally collected the car but I realised there were no car mats .there was no mention that I would have to pay extra for mats in a new car.”

“Very impressive: delivery of my new car was delayed by problems with obtaining parts from Mazda but, in response, nothing was too much trouble. I was lent a car for 10 days, and when I did collect my car it was immaculate. Many thanks for all your efforts.”
