Hello gillian, Thank you for ordering with Shades Of Time. I can see that your order was dispatched by our team on the 27th Nov, this being placed on a standard Royal Mail delivery taking up to 3 working days to arrive, this was due to arrive with you on Wednesday. Please accept my apologies for the delay you have received so far. At this moment in time unfortunately Royal Mail are experiencing some small delays due to many postal workers having to isolate and travel restrictions, but please be assured that your parcel is in transit and I expect this will arrive with you very soon. Hello hollie, Thank you for ordering with shades Of Time. I have looked into your order and can see this was dispatched by us on the 26th November for shipping and onward delivery. with your order being processed as a standard Royal Mail delivery this would typically take up to 3 working days to arrive, this meaning that your order was due to arrive with you on Tuesday. I'm very sorry for the delay you have received so far with your order, unfortunately in this current time Royal Mail are experiencing some small delays with a shortage of postal worker due to many having to isolate and travel restrictions, however please be assured that your parcel will arrive with you shortly as they have assured us they are working extra hours and now including evenings to have parcels delivered in good time. Very disappointed with your service. It has been a month since I made a purchase on your website, and until now I have not received the item that was intended for the birthday. And it's very strange that I see only positive responses on the reviews. And I can't find the one I left a week ago.????

Ordered an item for next day delivery and the item didn't arrive on time. The item was a gift for a friends birthday, so was very disappointed with this service, as they didn't provide the service I had paid for. When asking if I could have a refund for the delivery service I had paid for, the company refused. So I paid for a next day delivery service which was not provided and could of had the item delivered in the same time frame for free.

I ordered my item on the 26/08/2020 and paid next day delivery and after 10 days had still not received my order. I requested a refund which they said they would look into and I’m still waiting.

I ordered some DKNY earrings for a graduation gift. These earing were advertised as including a warranty card and a gift bag. I DID NOT receive the gift bag or warranty card. When i called to get this sorted out, the agent i spoke to told me “we dont sent DKNY gift bags, i did not know the picture was on their website”. I have screenshots of the item on the website. EVERY SINGLE dkny item on their site, not just earrings, every single item has pictures of a gift bag and a warranty card. EVERY single item has a description that says a gift bag is included. I paid for next day delivery, as it was a gift to be given at a graduation party. I was told they can send me a gift bag, but not via next day delivery - which means it would not arrive in time. I advised i paid for next day delivery for ALL my items and not half my items. I was then told “it is what it is”. I am not being unreasonable, i am just asking for what i paid for and what was advertised. I will be taking this further legally, as there has to be some sort of compensation. I would not have paid that price and paid £5 for next day delivery for this outcome.

Delivery awful!!! My order was to arrive last week for a special birthday and I’m still waiting. They are blaming Royal Mail even though I’ve had post every day. Won’t be ordering again or recommending.

Hi Claire, Thank you for your feedback, I am very sorry to hear that your parcel has received damage in transit, unfortunately once a parcel is handed over to Royal Mail we are not able to control the conditions in which it is processed, however I will be sure to pass this feedback on, because this is definitely something we don't want to happen with our future parcels. If you would like your damaged bag replaced, I am more than happy to have a replacement sent to you, if this is something you would like to do please let me know and I will have this done for you today. I would also like to give my personal apologies for the mistake in address confirmation, this was a mistake made in haste of trying to reply to all customers in good time and not a common mistake made by the company. As there has been an increase in delays with Royal Mail, there has also been an increase in customer queries regarding posting. I am however grateful that this has been brought to my attention as I will make a conscious effort to triple check address confirmations before sending.
