“Dear Carol, when I saw your website I knew I would come to the shop even though it's at a distance. For me, I wanted to try them on before I purchased. I am a size 12 and my self esteem has been dented in the past by well meaning but insensitive comments from traditional shop assistants who don't know what it's like. My experience in your shop was refreshing and I saw that there are options. You gave me space to think about it and service when I needed it. I love the way you've decorated the shop and understood that we (the size 12s of the world) want beautiful shoes too. I love that your dog keeps you company, she is so well behaved:) I came away with 2 pairs of shoes which I feel very good about. I've bought cheap shoes from various places and expensive shoes too and it's the properly fitting ones that I value thank you I'll be back Anna”

“Shopping at the Shoe Garden is such a pleasure, the product, the service, is brilliant and so appreciated. Carol thank you for your emails I am sure I would miss out without having these to remind me and I also appreciate the texts when you think something has to come to my place to live forever, unfortunately you are usually correct lol. “I like to visit the shoe garden as often as possible, though shop online if needed. I have awkward feet to fit and Carol ( with the assistance of Princess’s supervision) has always come up with beautiful and well fitting shoes. Gone are the days when I have had to wear ugly or men’s shoes. I love Shoe Garden shoes.”

“I was a long time scroller/ watcher on their facebook site and had been told wonderful things about this store. I finally made the time to visit and so glad I did - wonderful selection to choose from but seriously the best part was the personal service Carol provides which is for everyone - new visitors and regulars - makes you feel welcome from the door opening to the farewell. I will definitely be returning regularly - as a size 10 it's the first time I've ever been the smallest size in a shop!! I could find shoes in regular shops but this store is special, has unique styles, funky styles, regular ones too but Carol will find you something amazing for sure - she did for me! I came home with 2 new pairs!”

“I have been shopping with Carol for over 10 years now, both locally and online when I moved away. A few weeks ago I just popped in and ended up walking out with an incredibly comfortable new pair of slides that I have barely taken off since. A beautiful shop and Carol always has so many stunning shoes in sizes that fit - amazing!”

“It is such a joy to shop at The Shoe Garden - Carol and her team are amazing 🤩 There range of longer and wider shoes are always stunning and cater for different occasions. My latest purchase, the Isabella Corfu in fuchsia are divine and like a slipper to wear. “Shopping at The Shoe Garden has to be up there as one of life's pleasures! Carol is always so helpful, always looks amazing and I have always been able to have a good chat and laugh with her. Not only do I walk out with beautiful shoes but the whole experience makes my day! (Gone are the days when people used to tell me they only had boxes that would fit my feet!!) I would wholeheartedly recommend a visit!”

“As sizes can vary between brands, so helpful to have info about whether you need to go up or down a size when buying from interstate. And when your shoes arrive - WOW it’s like receiving a box of joy. They are so beautifully packaged with a little treat inside & your purchase contributes to a foundation which helps women in Africa. The service is exceptional in this day& age & I highly recommend The Shoe Garden 💕💕”
