I placed an order on 4/3/23 of which was cancelled by shout factory. I received no notification of the cancellation and only realized it days later when i logged into the website to check the status. I never received notification of the cancellation and i was not credited the cost. It was only after i contacted my credit company and filed a compliant about this that i received a credit and notification that the order was cancelled. This process took nearly 2 weeks from the time the order was placed and subsequently cancelled. I have been inquiring weekly as to why this occurred but have yet to hear back from the company. This comes after receiving multiple damaged items from them in the fall of 2022 which required replacements. Because i was excited for the Creepshow release I opted to give them another chance in hopes their customer service and QA had improved... clearly not.

Horrible packaging, gives you the run around when requesting a refund and return. Contacted customer service to let them know the Route service people were not responding and that I wanted a shipping label for a return, for a DVD set that had it's cover damaged during shipping due to their inadequate, thin bubble mailer that they used. They fobbed it off on the Route service and Route won't respond and send me a shipping label to return for refund. The shout company refuses to help. They just keep fobbing it off to the Route service they use for Claims. I just keep getting asked for pictures when I already provided all the pictures of the damage. Very untrustworthy, and I will never do business with them again.

Absolutely terrible company. Just search them on google and you will see they have 20 complaints filed against them at the Better Business Bureau (https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/los-angeles/profile/dvd-sales/shout-factory-1216-1003891/complaints). Bad company, no communication, and they are dishonest.

Placed my first, and only, order with this company. 9 items showed up in 6 different packages over the next two months, only after that time period was I made aware that the rest of my items had been back ordered. Then, against my wishes, I was issued a partial refund with no apology or compensation for wasting my time or the fact that they failed to communicate with me properly resulting in me being forced to pay for the things they had already sent me. So, even though I would've rather sacrificed all the items I had ordered in favor of Shout Factory not getting my money, the worst business practices in the home entertainment industry I have ever seen literally gave me no other option. Easily the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my life on top of it. Would never place an order with this company ever again. 10 out of 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Pail full retail, a LOT of money for my family, purchasing the Green Acres boxed set. Season 2, Disc 4 would not load in five different dvd players, so I emailed for a replacement. After a couple weeks I finally received a reply, asking for digital photos and copy of receipt. We bought these a year or two ago and NOBODY keeps receipts for common purchases. They insisted that I use a digital camera and send pictures but refused to offer me a camera. My nephew took pictures and I could not load them into the email so apparently I'm stuck with a brand new boxed set with a bad dvd. Shout Factory takes money from customers but REFUSES to back up their products. BE WARNED: Shout Factory will NOT send you a replacement when their products don't work.

These people took my money months ago for a limited preorder. Now they never sent it and said it’s out of stock. They sold My PAID FOR items to someone else and offered me a refund. It’s like I lent them $70 for 5 months for nothing. That is insane. I have every Neca set from them and will not be coming back. Super offended by this. They were very stern and not helpful in resolving this problem which is WRONG. Period

First of all, Roger Corman had nothing to do with producing or directing this movie. He just distributed it in the US. This movie steals from Star Wars, Queen of Outer Space, Jason and the Argonauts, and Invaders from Mars. The script is stupid, the acting and dubbing terrible, and the dialogue siller. A total waste of a good cast. Only redeeming value is the reliable score by John Barry. However, Shout Factory has mastered a marvelous print.

I ordered six movies on the 50 percent off sale because I love Scream Factory and the sale was fantastic so I had to jump on it. I ordered them to give as a gift for a birthday. Ordered them in mid June. Got one and not the rest. Looked up online and saw that other part of orders were being shipped on June 30th. June 30th comes around. Nothing. Contact and email don't hear anything for almost a week. It took over a month for the films to arrive. I didn't get to give them for the birthday even ordering a month before it. I love Scream Factory I really do but after that I will never order from the site again. It took way to long and was kept in the dark too long.

During the Scream Factiry 5 year anniversary I ordered 3 Bluray movies. At the time of placing the order, none of the items were listed as out of stock or back ordered. I quickly received 1 or 3 movies. Then things went south. After a week of no news I emailed Scream factory. No response. After another half a week I tried again, got a response but it read that the other two were on backorder. What? Not OK. That should have been mentioned sooner! But because 1 had already shipped I could not cancel the rest too! So I waited another TWO WEEKS before emailing again (no upgrades from SF either BTW) and got a response that directed me to a FAQ page explaining the delay and claiming the rest would be sent that very week. Another week later I emailed AGAIN to request to cancel my order and I finally get an email back saying the items had shipped.... So no communication and over a month before items shipped. This is not a "mom & pop" shop. This is not an indie store. It's a large retailer and this is redicilous. Next time I want a shout/Scream factory release? I'll buy it on AMAZON!

Been waiting a month and a half for an order and they won't respond when I contact about it now. This company usually gets great feedback so I'm wondering why I'm getting poor service and definitely feel ripped off and disappointed

I have been researching Tokusatsu for the past 6 years... I'm thankful you brought Super Sentai to America which im planning on to buy box all Super Sentai sets you released .... My only trouble is why no Kamen rider released in America. If you do start to release Kamen rider start with Kamen Rider Kuuga (2000). I admit I like Heisei era (1989- current) more than Showa era 1946-1989). I admit I'm a sucker for for form changes.

I placed an order a month ago, and to date I've only received 1 of the 6 movies I ordered. And to make matters worse, no Shout Factory representatives will respond to my e-mails. I'm never buying from this site again, and I'm warning all my friends not to do so either.

A few months back I ordered a large number of movies, roughly 12-15 movies. I was impressed at first, receiving the first 10 or so movies in two shipments very quickly. Eventually a week later I received what I thought was the remaining 2 movies, unfortunately I received 2 more copies of a movie I was already sent. When I contacted Shout/Scream factory, they apologized for the mix up and explained there was a glitch with my order and would send out the remaining two movies asap. Another week and a half later, those movies had yet to ship. I decided to cancel the last remaining movies, shortly there after, I received a reply stating my order was cancelled due to multiple attempts at trying to process my payment method. I ended up purchasing those movies from Amazon.com with the same card your company mysteriously couldn't process. I received those movies two days later from Amazon without any issue.

Got a bill from shopping company for almost $19 CAD a shipment that was free on a $16 USD Blu-ray.
