“The quality of the actual handrail was excellent but that was as far as it went. I was really disappointed, the wall holding brackets did not line up on the handrail and therefore would not lay flush on the wall. Not one of the four were in the same place, it was like the handrail had slipped when the holes were being drilled. It was a complete nightmare to put up due to reasons given above.”

“The rail is very good quality as expected. My only issue was packaging heavily damaged and a screw was missing. The driver was a great help and asked if item was ok if not I can take it back. Luckily no damage, I had spare screws.”

“The first thing to say is that the product looks great in situ and I am pleased with its quality. My subsequent comments are meant to be helpful not critical: With regard to the installation instructions, it would be useful to include that it is essential to drill pilot holes into the wood before screwing in the screws - not everybody knows you have to do this. If you do not do this, the screw head shears off and it is impossible to remove with pliers. I cut it off with a hack saw and covered the damaged screw by a slight displacement of the bracket. There are two types of screw in the pack - it would be helpful to indicate which are to be drilled into the wood and which are for the wall - they are of similar length and width. I am sure a professional would know but we do not all have the same level of knowledge.”

“Ref. Order # 9955. “SimpleHandrails” in handling my order has been exceptional. From the response to my pre-order questions regards required finished lengths and recommended bracket spacings, to promptly sending the correct End Caps that were originally sent in error, I have nothing but praise for their service. With regards to the product, the finish on the White Oak hand rails requires no additional preparation for any chosen finish and the Stainless Steel components have a first class finish. Adequate numbers of countersunk and round head screws plus rawlplugs are also supplied. The whole order was very well packaged and arrived and delivered on the day expected in perfect condition. The staff I dealt with Leah and Tammi were excellent communicators.”
