“Quality hand rail more than happy with it , quick and easy ordering and delivery”

“The rail is very good quality as expected. My only issue was packaging heavily damaged and a screw was missing. The driver was a great help and asked if item was ok if not I can take it back. Luckily no damage, I had spare screws.”

“The first thing to say is that the product looks great in situ and I am pleased with its quality. My subsequent comments are meant to be helpful not critical: With regard to the installation instructions, it would be useful to include that it is essential to drill pilot holes into the wood before screwing in the screws - not everybody knows you have to do this. If you do not do this, the screw head shears off and it is impossible to remove with pliers. I cut it off with a hack saw and covered the damaged screw by a slight displacement of the bracket. There are two types of screw in the pack - it would be helpful to indicate which are to be drilled into the wood and which are for the wall - they are of similar length and width. I am sure a professional would know but we do not all have the same level of knowledge.”

“Good product. Well packaged. Only problem was with delivery. Carrier sent me an email saying that they send another with a delivery time slot, but this was never sent. Luckily driver arrived just as we were going out.”

“Excellent quality handrail, perfect for our needs. Item received as advised but had some fixings missing. After a few phone calls these were sent very promptly which I was very impressed with.”

“Very happy with the quality and price, glass delivered within 8 days balustrades took a little longer because it was a bank holiday. A few issues with day of delivery but that was more to do with the company delivering the glass and courier delivering balustrades not simplehandrails. Overall very happy looks pretty good now up.”

“Well packed and arrived within the timescale given. Good product. Would have liked 2 things though - 1) a template for drilling the centre of the end of the rails to attach the caps, 2) some instructions particularly on whether to drill pilot holes etc. Otherwise, very good.”

Hi there Thank you for your review. All our instructions are listed on our website, we do this to keep our carbon footprint down. With regard to the end caps, we originally drilled them however the majority of our customers like to cut their rails down to suit their own personal requirements so it became a pointless exercise. “I was a bit disappointed to find I had to fit the stainless steel end caps onto the oak hand rail, I was well packed so I don’t see why this could not have been done at source.”

“The product arrived well packaged and was of very good quality. After initial disappointment with delays to delivery (which after sales members of staff and manager has explained) the items were received well. Manger has been in touch to offer reimbursement for inconvenience of delays which is more than reasonable, therefore I’m happy with both the product and overall handling of what seemed a one off situation. I would recommend the products as they are some of the best I’ve seen for the style and price I was looking for. Kindest Regards”

“Overall, I’m pleased with the products, certainly very robust and sturdy. I order two handrails there’s quite a difference in the colour however they’re not on the same flight of stairs so that won’t matter. Also one of the handrails is scored but I’ll live with it. I have emailed and phone the company prior to ordering to ask a question, but the phone wasn’t answered nor was my email.”

“Not yet put it up as OH is not too well, so waiting until he has his new valve for his heart is fitted. Quality is good. Was hoping it would be on long piece, but its in two halves.”

“The rail itself is a lovely piece of Italian Walnut. The fitting brackets are of a good quality stainless steel and easily fitted, however I was disappointed that the rail had not been pre-drilled as it is almost impossible to ensure that the end pieces can be fitted concentric with the rail on-site.”
