For some reason my prescription was randomly changed to another type of birth control this past month and I was nonstop puking and experiencing really bad migraines. I was taking Sprintec for a year or so and all of the sudden was sent Lupin. I did not appreciate the fact that there was no notice about this change and I will be cancelling my subscription with SimpleHealth.

I’ve been using simple health for almost a year now. I loved it! Until recently you guys changing your policies and not taking any kind of insurance anymore. Would’ve been nice to have an announcement sent out to people Or something. Instead of finding out because I had to reach out and figure out why I have no more refills of my birth control. Will be looking for a new website that takes insurance.

In the beginning, Simple Health was just that, simple. They were easy, gave me what I needed, my insurance covered it and I was getting free birth control. They then sent an email saying my insurance no longer covered so instead of asking if I want to use another sort of coverage or asking if I want to continue with them as a provider, they just charged me $120 for my birth control. Without my consent. You really think if I was getting free birth control that I'd want to start being charged over $100 instead of going somewhere else? And why did they no longer accept my insurance? When I got the email saying my insurance was no longer accepted, there was no link to cancel or change my prescription and I had to go find the email to tell them I want to cancel it and they shipped my prescription almost immediately so I wouldn't be able to cancel. There should be some sort of "Do you want to renew your prescription" if there are changes to payment because that was absurd.

I would like to know before my prescription is changed. Please keep me on the same kind of birth control.

Quick and easy birth control is good. Trying to push ALL your other products on everybody makes you just like everyone else, only interested in profit not healthcare. And your customer service is ass. I’ve had to call/text/email on several occasions and they’ve NEVER been helpful. Most recently they’ve been condescending in addition to unhelpful. I literally figured out the problem and fixed it myself just to be told I couldn’t fix it myself… and their solution was to do the exact same thing I did. I’m seeing a new doctor next week and I’ll have them write my prescription and start traveling to pick it up myself again just to avoid ever having to deal with simple health EVER AGAIN. THIS IS NOT CONVENIENT

I have been using simple health for a couple years now. Recently, without any notification, my prescription changed. It seems to be the same form of thing I was taking (sprintec) but the pills are smaller and different colors, I don't know if it's even the same dosage. A little heads up that my prescription was changing would have been nice.

It's nice to get your birth control through this company but they're very hard company to get a hold of to change anything.

They recruit hard and heavy, then are unresponsive to needs after you've subscribed. I am currently looking elsewhere for service.

So far, I am not impressed. When first trying to setup a subscription, I had to text the team to make sure they had received my messages in response to the doctor's questions. I didn't get a response the first time, and after the follow-up, it was noted that they didn't in fact send my responses to the doctor. This caused a delay in processing. Later on, I had trouble with a different generic medication I was prescribed. I sent a message describing my horrible side effects and was told someone would get back to me within 5 business days. That came and went, so I had my prescription filled at my local pharmacy instead. I notified the SimpleHealth team of that fact to keep them in the loop and STILL did not receive a response. There is no care, compassion, or sense of urgency with this company and I do not plan on continuing a subscription with them.

I was not sent the correct prescription amount with my first shipment (sent 1 month instead of 3). Trying to get this resolved in a short amount of time has been frustrating. I emailed, but got a response that it could take up to 5 business days for a response. That email also said to text the number back that confirmed my shipment for a faster response. It’s now been two days since I texted and no response there either.

Simple Health worked fine until I ran into the slightest hang up with my insurance. At that point, I found customer service to be pretty unhelpful. When I messaged for support, each message was not responded to until days later, and there was no phone line available to call. Insurance can be complex and frustrating and I believe that if a company is going to claim to provide low-cost healthcare (ie birth control), they need to commit to being responsive and supportive of their customers and advocate for their care.

The first time I used the service, super easy and wonderful experience. This time, not so much. It was time for me to order more, filled out the questionnaire, and the doctor they assigned me said I couldn't get my birth control because it wasn't safe for me because I have a history of migraines with aura. I don't have a history of them and I selected no on that question. They refused to send me the birth control I've been on for 15 years. I had to create a new account and start all over. This time it was approved but even though I selected that I did not want a generic of my birth control, they sent a generic anyway. I reached out to customer support and it was a month before I finally got the correct birth control. I ran out because I was refused my normal birth control by a doctor for a condition I don't have and then had to wait for customer service to get around to responding to fix it, then I confirmed the new order and still it did not arrive so I had to reach out AGAIN, and I ended up going 3 weeks without my birth control. I've never missed more than a day in 15 years so, I'm sure you can imagine the adverse side effects I was experiencing, the pain was so bad I almost had to go to the hospital by week 3.

Usually I have no issues with SimpleHealth, but my last order was a nightmare. I emailed and asked if I could get an "in care of" name added to my order or else my apartment complex would reject it, and they did not add it and therefore my apartment complex threw it out and didn't even return it to sender. I then asked them to send it to a different address, in care of the same person, and they did not add it, completely losing my confidence that I'll ever be able to get my needed medication sent directly to my residence because the people filling the orders don't know how to add "in care of" or "c/o". Even though your workers asked and I confirmed.

Took more than 3 weeks to get my prescription when I was quoted 5 business days. Not a fan and would rather go to the doctor for less hassle.

Simple health used to be really good. I don't know what happened. Between changing my prescription,to having to wait two weeks for customer service to answer a simple question and then shipping the order without my authorization, to even straight lying to me that my insurance would cover the medication they picked for me and then trying to charge me- it's been a nightmare. Unless you like fighting with customer service and waiting a long time to get an unsatisfactory answer back I highly do not recommend you use this company.

I liked the turnaround when I first registered for birth control, and liked the promise of quarterly resupply. However, the singular package I received contained one (1) blister pack. That's enough for one month, maybe two if taken every other day... which does not help at all for cycle management. And there is no way for me to alter the order to monthly shipments or ensure that all three blister packs and the one requested emergency contraception. Please fix this.
