“I actually requested to not get the generic brand of the actual brand I wanted. So I was a bit disappointed with that. Not sure who I even talk to to get the actual brand I wanted.”
“Does not have a way to contact customer service quickly. I asked to only receive a certain pill after receiving a generic. They said they put it in my account. A month later I get a message that my chosen pill was not available and to let them know what to do. I immediately messaged back asking to wait. Apparently 1 minute is too long to respond and they sent the generic again. When I messaged back after they told me I took too long and did I want them to put on my account that I only wanted a specific brand, a month after they had already done so. So they then tried to bill my insurance again for now another pack and the insurance denied it as they just paid for the wrong pack. I am waiting for a courtesy refill of the correct brand.”
“Glad that I have access to BC without insurance. Very disappointed in the communication though. It’s challenging to keep track of information with no email thread and you have to go through customer service to “speak” with a doctor. No built in communication through the site, which would’ve been more efficient and convenient. This has made it frustrating when making necessary changes and receiving updates on how to proceed.”
“Using simple health for my birth control was awesome. I loved how simple it was to just receive my perception in the mail and I never had to worry about missing a day because of a slow pharmacy.”
“I can only get one refill a month through insurance using this service and they always attempt tp process it early and I end up getting notice that it cannot be filled yet and would I wish to pay out of pocket. My insurance requires zero copay so I do not ever wish to pay out of pocket and have told them this numerous times and if I go through my doctor I could get 3 refills at a time but for some reason this service does not office that so every month I get the same message and then have to write to make sure they fill it because they end up not doing it when they say they will which ultimately results in me receiving my birth control late every month due to their incompetence.”
“This is a review specific to shipping. I understand that things can be unpredictable with shipping, especially during this uncertain time. That being said, my specific prescription needs to remain cold. When I received my prescription in June, it was barely cold. The ice packs included were warm. I almost requested a replacement due to the fact that I didn’t think it was still usable.
I really do enjoy your company. But if my prescription can’t arrive to me safely and correctly then I can’t use your company out of fear for the safety of my health. If things improve I will gladly rewrite my review to reflect said changes.”
“The first year i was with you guys was great didn’t have any problems, however, when it was time to renew my subscription they told me no because I vape and my BMI was to high that I could only have this one pill and they would not listen to me. If I am to take the pill I will get pregnant because I will forget to take it on then I already forget to take my regular medication on time”
“The last 2 shipments came in late. The one for last month was said to be delivered but wasn’t. This months is delayed for some reason. Before the lost pack, everything was great”
“Simple Health has poor customer service. I had severe effects of the birth control, and I contacted customer service. It took them almost a week to reply back.”
“Took longer than expected to receive after my prescription was approved. Did not like the fact that there was not a portal capability to keep track of the previous conversation had with the physician/team.”
“I started on the patch. I have used it in the years past. For some reason, the ones I have are bot stying out for more then two days :(. I make sure my skin is clean and dry prior to applying.”
“Convenient but I specifically requested the exact BC that I was on before and that I wasn't ok with receiving a generic version, but they gave me a generic or different version anyway that agree with my body.”
“Too much packaging, not sustainable. Disappointed that my second order would’ve had a $200 copay despite there being no copay for the first order of the same med.”
“I cancelled my subscription & was charged for a full new set of pills over 6 months later. Hormonal birth control made me absolutely insane & I would not recommend it to anybody who isn’t taking it for the purposes of controlling a health concern (endometriosis/etc.)”
