“I liked it until my move. Apparently by the time I put in a new order, an order was already on its way to my house. I think the new order corrected the correct because it was redirected from the old address to the new... BUT NEVER CAME IN THE MAIL. I have been off birth control now for 2 weeks waiting for it to come in and it never did. UGH.”
“Placed order online. Was texted it was approved and processed for $0. Paid the $20 fee, then was told my insurance doesn't cover the costs. So, now pill and no $20 returned.”
“The reason for the two stars is you guys need to have a direct line to call. Emailing to get your information is not great. Everyone’s looking for jobs now so hiring some people for a call center or something work from home would be great. The representatives that do the emailing don’t pay enough attention to details like addresses or phone numbers. I also don’t know why there’s an option for “how did you communicate with the company” and ‘telephone’ being an option because you guys don’t have a telephone number anywhere on the site!”
“Was fine and then all of a sudden my rx was canceled and they stopped taking insurance. I attempted to sign up again and have the meds sent to a local pharmacy so I could use my insurance, and they just...didn't do that, and canceled my prescription again.”
“While it worked great in a pinch since I was without insurance for a few months. It made it easy to get BC without paying alot. But once I had insurance I found out that my insurance wasnt accepted through simple health and if I wanted to keep using the service I would have to pay out of pocket still. So I might as well go to a dr around my area.
As far as the birth control goes. The first 3 months were fine. However the next round of 3 month supply I got were a different brand to the first because they were the cheaper option. For some reason with this brand my face started breaking out everywhere. Didnt do that before. So maybe cheaper isnt always better. In the long run now that I have insurance and since simple health wont take it and the last few packs have been making my skin break out. Im choosing to go back to my local Dr who will take my insurance and I can get free birth control again that won't make my skin break out.”
“I got my last prescription and it wasn’t the pills I have been taking. Also ordered more, it’s been over a month and it is still saying that my package has not been scanned or sent out.”
“I used to love using Simple Health, but they no longer take insurance. So my $0 birth control would now be over $300. Not happy to go back to brick and mortar, but it’s worth it.”
“Price increase really did effect me as I am a college student. It’s always super hard to get in contact w anyone. I often have to wait a week for a simple reply.”
“The pill I was prescribed didn’t help with any of my menstruation symptoms. Cramping has actually gotten worse, flow is heavy and its not regular which is the main reason I like being on pill birth control. The last few months I’ve actually been bleeding every other week. It’s nice idea being able to get birth control online but could do better with what pill you’re prescribed.”
“Usually simple health is AMAZING at replying back. This last time around they were not. I was told I wasn't going to get charged until I received my pills, that wasn't true. I also had reached out asking for a refill on the same product. Never got anything had to go online. And then I was sent a completely different set of pills and wasn't even told that it was going to be different even though I requested the same ones. And they are not making me feel very well and I can't even get a response.”
“I have had no issues until recently. My last pill pack I received was empty, no pills in it. Customer service never got back to me. The next order never arrived. Customer service still hasn’t gotten back to me.
Not sure what’s going on there but I signed up to make getting my birth co trip more convenient and this has been anything but.”
