“to be honest, it’s kind of hard to get in touch with doctors at a reasonable time when you need them. it makes everything a little harder since they reply a day or two later. not to mention, i am experiencing some weird symptoms and i’m not really getting any real answers from the doctors or the people of simple health.”
“I appreciate being able to receive birth control being sent right to my door. However, for whatever reason simple health does not except my state insurance, because it doesn't have one of the numbers. I am on this state insurance because I am low income, and because Simple Health doesn't accept my insurance I have to pay $45 every three months. This is annoying, but better than having no birth control at all.”
“The process to get your pills is easy. When I got mine it was supposed to be the amethyst version. I got levonorgestrel idk if that's the amethyst version but I literally had my period for two whole week, heavy. Even though I wanted either no period or very light. Maybe just wrong pill idk”
“I wanted to unsubscribe to the birth control subscription and no one got back with me about it at all. The side effects of the birth control was far too much for me.”
“I enjoyed getting my birth control through the mail but I was CONSTANTLY getting my pills. At one point, I had 3 extra packs at home that I hadn’t even started.
I wish they would mail out ONE packet a month.”
“I dislike not having direct contact with the doctor supplying the prescription. Questions and details are collected by individuals without a medical licence.”
“Okay. I am now on my second month with simple health. Signing up and getting started and getting my birth control was easy. Very simple process. I do like you can text to be able to contact someone with questions/concerns. I do not like that there is no phone number to contact someone directly. It also takes 3 days or so to hear back. Yesterday I just received my second pack of pills that left me without birth control for a week because my pulse were put on shipping delay. I know this is something to do with USPS shipping but maybe it could had been shipping another way. A week without pills is a week for a potential pregnancy and bleeding. I am taking my current pills to stop periods so it kinda defeats the purpose and making things easier than going to a office.”
“Simple Health has made it easy to access and get birth control. Simple Health is fairly helpful and timely with responses to questions and concerns, i just unfortunately didn't have a great fit nor experience with the birth control prescribed to me.”
“Nice service, but be prepared. It takes quite a long time to get the prescription. Customer service is very slow to reply to questions. Overall, the product seems fine, but if time is of the essence, go elsewhere.”
“Great and helpful until my insurance changed and my insurance wouldn’t fill my prescription through them so I had my RX transferred to a local pharmacy so I didnt have to pay out of pocket and I simply asked for the plan B pill RX to go to my pharmacy and they wouldn’t because I’m not using their pharmacy and the response I got. You can buy it over the counter. Well nah sh**! The RX would make it go through my pharmacy so there you go, my experience. Good luck!”
“The first time I ordered through them they were fantastic! The second time around, they added 2 additional items that I told them I did not need. They took one of those items out, but left the other in my order. When I told them a second time I didn’t need that specific item, they told me it was too late and they had already shipped my order out. Other than this issue, Simple Health is great to work with. They’re convenient and quick!”
“Twice now, despite my requests otherwise, my Nuvaring has shipped over the weekend. This allows it to become too warm and therefore not effective. I love the mailing. I love the customer service. Except for this issue, but this is a BIG issue for me! What is the point in birth control if you're not sure if it's effective?”
“I very much appreciated the access to birth control in a variety of brands. The pills I received were best for me because they dissolved easily. Unfortunately, my health insurance stopped being accepted the second month so I had to cancel my prescription.”
