It was OK. Charged more on the day because of supposed extra items and had no packing material available for large items. You get what you pay for at the end of the day.

This is my 3rd time of using them and unfortunately it has been the least positive experience. We opted for the full packing service which I was very disappointed with, the agreement was that 3 operatives would attend the day before moving and pack everything taking approximately 3-4 hours, however only 2 arrived and stayed just over an hour, only packing a small amount. On moving in day we ended up packing a lot of items ourselves, which has made me feel like we wasted money. The actual operatives were polite and friendly.

Packers did not arrive to late and if I hadn’t helped they would have been here till gone 10pm and they were two of the people who were moving us the next day at 8am

I was very disappointed because my sofa wasn't put back properly, I had 2 items damaged even though I pointed out to them that they were delicate. I also had to request that the second bed was put together as they were leaving even though this was requested on the order.

Unfortunately the lorry that was provided wasn’t big enough and I had to leave my wheely bins behind and my plant got broken. Also I ordered 5 boxes and got charged over £25 on top of the £720 I paid. I wasn’t told this the money was taken off of my debit card without my authorisation

Price was very competitive, guys on the day were efficient. However, we discovered that some pretty bad damage had been done to my sons bed and craftily hidden when re-assembled. It was only a few weeks later when we went to move the bed that we noticed. It made the bed unsafe. Although they offered to come and mend it - it was beyond repair and I would not have felt comfortable with my son using the top bunk for safety reasons. They refused to pay an compensation as I had missed the deadline (1 week) despite the guys not notifying me of the issue on the day.

Removal went relatively smoothly, but be aware of small print and hidden fees. Customer services (mainly accounts team) were not particularly helpful afterwards. Told them we were getting keys to new house til after 2pm they showed up at new place at 11am, and i was charged waiting time - wasn't happy, told customer services who weren't interested and took money from my holding account

Booked for our house move in Nov 18. Was clear when the removal men arrived that the van would not be big enough despite giving a detailed infantry of or belongings. Luckily I managed to source another removal company to support on the day. The two removal men were pleasant, but had little motivation to get the job done. They were very slow and could hardly walk slower when unloading. The other removal company unloaded in one hour and simply removals took over 2 hours with help from myself, family members and the other removal company! Broken mirror, with no apology offered.

Crew turned up 30 minutes late but did advise me by phone. Worked diligently at both addresses and all went well until a light fixture in the hallway was broken at my new house. Would have been a five star rating if not for the breakage.

Our exchange and completion happened on the same day in the middle of December 2018, as a result we have very little choice of removal firms given the busy time of year. We booked the full packing service as we had no time to pack. Simply Removals were the most expensive quote but given the short notice the quotation was provided quickly. Overall the service from the office and the person providing the quotation was very good. The staff who turned up on the day of the move to do the removals did a good job with the exception of a couple of the lads who let the others down as they were a bit lazy. For instance, a wet container was placed in the card box which meant the packaged box was soaked by the time we opened the box. Another example is one of the removal staff packed the coffee, tea and kettle first. We put these items to one side so we could use them and these items are generally packed last. These instances plus a few others could have been easily avoided hence the 'Acceptable' score instead of good.

The office staff were always very helpful and would always recommended them I felt that the removal men although very pleasant because they were late arriving the moving experience seemed rushed

The service was essentially acceptable. The men turned up on time and worked hard for a good price. However, I was disappointed by their aftercare, following a broken item that effectively I have been told wont be covered under insurance and I have simply had to accept that I'll have to replace it myself. A matter made worse by the fact that when the item was broken, it was just left for me to discover on the table, when I should have at least been told about the breakage. In my opinion, this matter could have been handled much better

I had a quote for moving, I moved the time forward two hours and got charged nearly double, then got charged an extra £50 per hour for waiting time (waiting for keys) felt like I was conned!! Although the two men who moved me were very professional and pleasant, I couldn't fault them.

The two guys arrived on time and swiftly loaded the van, after my instructions. However there were marks on the arm of the sofa following the move, therefore I feel a bit more care could have been provided, plus even though they had covers to put down on the floor, they didn't use them or put them on the floor therefore when bring stuff into the house they were treading mud and grass into my newly laid carpet which I was unhappy with. I did at one point ask the to put some covers/sheets down which they eventually did but this was after they had trampled a load of mud up and down the stairs and into different rooms. As a removal company who has the tools to do the job they should be putting them down without question or having to be asked.

KEPT ME WAITING FOR HOURS FOR THE PACKING TO THE EXTENT I THOUGHT I WAS BEING SCAMMED. tHEN THE NEXT DAY , WHEN WE MOVED, THEY CHARGED ME BECAUSE THEY WERE KEPT WAITING AT NEW PLACE. FAIR ? I DONT THINK SO

Efficient cost effective service. I was impressed with the speed of service. However, the two removal guys were not very friendly and openly frustrated about some of our minor directions over the removal process. I will be trying a different removal firm next time.
