“I had two sets of plantation shutters installed about one year ago. I do remember the person who measured was real nice. However, there was not good communication about installation. I remember calling more than once and not getting a clear answer about time of deliver.
Although they look good, they didn’t fit precisely, and there is a small gap at the bottom. I think a regular person wouldn’t notice the difference, but the installer did mention it to me when installing, and since they were pre fabricated, we were only able to adjust the difference a little.”
“The sliding door shutters look great. They perfectly match our window shutters that I previously installed.
The install guys were very courteous, quick, and efficient.
Our only regret is not anticipating the fact that it is difficult to open the louvers when the shutters are slid open and next to each other. As an afterthought, we should have extended the track to move the shutters completely clear of the door opening.”
“I like my shutters very much. Living in Florida almost demands that you need shutters on your windows. I did not, however, enjoy waiting a couple of months to receive them. The fact that I couldn’t get shutters with a rounded top is still, even after almost two years, is a bit vexing to me. All in all they look nice and are easy to clean.”
“We do love the shutters, especially because the price we paid made something that seemed unattainable to us, became feasible. We love that our home has shutters. We just haven’t had the best quality service with the people that come out and some of the shutters continue to seem “off”. We have called and when they came, the guys were quite dismissive about our concerns. Some of them squeak loudly or don’t shut well. It’s too bad and hope we don’t fall into the “you get what you pay for” situation with our shutters.”

“We really like the look of the shutters. They are easy to clean, and look great. The only issue we had was when the person measured, they either measured incorrectly, or wrote it down wrong and one of the shutters was the wrong size for the window. It took us almost 6 weeks to get the original order, then one was wrong. The installer said that they could take it and cut it, and come back out a few days later and reinstall it. That was a lie. I contacted the company after a week had passed, and not only could they not cut it down to fit, but they had to order another shutter entirely, (which they didn’t do until I called) and it would be another 6 weeks. And I was told that “other orders were before mine, and there was no way to expedite it”. I feel like my order should of been a priority, and should of been expedited since it was measured incorrectly, and then I was lied to by the original installer.”
“Everything was great.. the only thing I would say you guys should work on is more communication about the status.. I never got any updates of my order and had to call myself and they were very late past the time I was quoted and I never got any notification on that I had to check myself the whole time”
