“They were not measured right so they had to put a spacer in now the shutters are not secure because the nails were not long enough one of them keeps coming off the door”

“I have used Simply Shutters to install plantation shutters in my previous home, so naturally I called them again when I wanted plantation shutters installed in my new home. They came to install the shutters on January 24, 2023 and the installers did a horrible job in my bathroom. My bathroom windows have arches and Simply Shutters NEVER disclosed to me that they do not install shutters on windows with arches. I am not certain why they thought I only needed part of my windows covered, but more importantly I do not understand why their policy wasn’t made clear. One shutter was not installed straight and they cracked bathroom tiles around the tub in the process. I was initially told that I could get the tiles fixed and they would reimburse me my money; then I was told that the crack was there prior to the installation. Simply shutters sent someone to assess the bathroom on February 9, 2023 and I never heard anything from the company since that assessment. After multiple phone calls to the company and speaking with Steve the CEO, nothing has changed… I am still with cracked tiles and poorly installed plantation shutters in my bathroom. With that said, I have to take legal action to right their wrongs. As a repeat customer, I am beyond devastated by their poor service and lack of professionalism. I DO NOT RECOMMEND Simply Shutters to anyone. Save yourself the headache and hire another company.”

“Good afternoon Dawn, I have reached out to Simply Shutters several times since having them install my shutters as they did a terrible job. Less than a year after installation the slats will not stay up/closed on several windows. I asked repeated to speak to someone and was ignored. I am highly disappointed in their work and customer service.”

“The quality of your Chinese made shutters is equivelent to the poor moral character of you as individuals and your company as a whole. Poor fit, poor quality workmanship and failure to stand by your product does not make you an option as a potential source to beautify ones home. IN SHORT, SIMPLY SHUTTERS IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM.”

“Horrible customer service ! First time I reached out it took a few phone calls and a many emails before they got back to me . Finally got my shutters 16 weeks later and I was happy.i Second time around, I wanted shutters on my French doors , and same thing happened , I called a few times , sent emails . This time no one ever got back to me ! Found a different person with better quality shutters and excellent customer service.”

“Unfortunately I have had a very disappointing experience with your company as nobody answers the phone at the office and no one responds except for the salesman Ricky. One of my shutters was installed damaged and it took about a month to even get someone to come out and look at it. Addison came out and said it needed to be replaced and I haven’t received an update or any kind of ETA and it has been 2 months. Another shutter is now not closing properly. Your customer service is nonexistent and I would like these issues fixed immediately.”

“Horrible. Simply Shutters do not not stand by their guarantee My shutters do not fit my window and they said nothing they could do. After a year they contacted me they wanted to reorder shutter for the third time. I asked for my money back but they won’t do that. I refuse to let them back in my home as they lie and say anything to get you to sign a contract. Manager Steve is not to be trusted”

“Atrocious communication. Never completed my job. Besides the unfinished one, nearly each shutter had an issue within the first few months. One shutter broke on a corner within a couple weeks of install. Crappy product. I just installed shutters on every window and sliding door of another home. It was no question whether I would try a new company- I would never use or recommend your company again (and I live in a community where all of the houses are being remodeled and improved).”

“I have purchased several shutters from this company and every time there were long lead times. I was extremely patient every time. However, the last installation took place in June of this year and the shutter was hung too high off the ground. The issue was reported to the company right away and as of today, the issue has not been resolved. I have called and texted several times and they finally sent someone out on Tuesday this week only to say the same thing the installers said that a repair job needed to be done. I was promised a discount for future orders, only to be taken back by the manager. I feel that they took my money and abandoned the job with no quality control.”

“I was made commitments by the sales rep. which were included in writing on the original invoice. When the installers showed up, they did not have all the materials to complete the job. The sales mgr phoned me, asked for me to remit full payment with a commitment that he would have the job completed for me at a later date. I agreed to make full payment upon being given the commitment that they would come out and complete the job. However, after many attempts by email, text and phone, I received a response that and they would not be completing the job. Although I had everything in writing, I was not able to have any effect on the outcome. Very disappointed all the way around. Wouldn't be surprised if they delete this from the website.”
