I made a mistake in my order with the skate size and in a matter of one day the issue was solved. They sent out a replacement for next day delivery with no issues at all. “You claimed you had bars in stock that could be with us in a few days so we ordered 2 items from you rather than your rivals as you offered a free gift with the bars. Once we'd ordered AND PAID you admitted you didn't have that colour. It then took 2 weeks and several contradictory emails until I lost patience and then the headset finally arrived two weeks later.
You offered to refund me for the bars (and I hope you have) but then a week later sent another email saying everything was on its way including the bars.
I have to wait now to check my MasterCard statement as I do not trust what you claim to have charged and later refunded for - as you can probably understand
So that is why I have ticked Poor - to be fair your service has been good in the past but I've now lost confidence in Skates. Meanwhile Skates Plus did not have the bars in stock either but this was clear on website. They did have another item we needed which they sent as promised within a few days.
Wish I could be more positive but different staff seem to make different decisions about what's in stock, what's been delivered and what still needs doing so the stream of emails became quite frustrating”

“I originally ordered a scooter deck for my 11 year old son, the deck was discontinued & the staff emailed me to say we could have a full refund or they would upgrade is to a deck worth an extra £25 as an apology. So, after upgrading us my son no longer wanted the other items we had originally ordered, the staff were amazing & completely changed the whole order & we had the lot within 24 hours. The staff I dealt with were Jo & Katie & I can't speak highly enough about them, in fact we have since placed another order for more scooter parts & other items for birthday presents. “Scooters were great. Unfortunately they were not delivered the next day (as I had paid for) due to there not being any stock which was not flagged when I raised the order. If I knew, I would have made a trip to a regular shop to buy the scooters as they were meant for my boys birthday the next day......”
