I had booked an engineer to help move my Sky to my new house. I called on the day to confirm but was told the appointment had been cancelled due to a 'technical error '. I was very frustrated because this was a huge inconvenience as I had cancelled a shift at work. The guy couldn't get anyone to do the work that day and offered another appointment 7 days later. It was a huge disappointment especially because Sky had not even bothered to phone me when they realised there had been a technical problem with my appointment.

The router went off on Friday and on Saturday I called them and clearly asked them to send new on and they insisted on engineer and I told them no send router with the power cable and we agreed on that. They said Tuesday and engineer will come and at the same time they will send the router . We got a message for the delivery. Monday an engineer came and checked and confirmed no fault outside. Tuesday another engineer came and confirmed the same : router is faulty need to be changed. Tuesday the post man came with very small packet with internet cables only, no router no power cable at all. Called them and one in calling centers answered and made a message, called again and another mess… Tuesday around 3 pm called and got answer by a lady who promised that she will send a sky engineer with the internet hub to be installed immediately. But nothing and I got a text message that the engineer wi no come because his van broke. Wednesday I called them again because the promised engineer who was supposed to bring the hub came with nothing in his hands. Five days with this agony. Before writing this I gave them a call to check how to resolve it and they told me that they can not replace it till after 10 days… imagine that a router and a cable is impossible to send and we are in the 21st century: incompetent service provider they should be band from this and stoned for their rubbish service. 15 days with no service and they will charge you fully for the imaginary service they provided and for the rubbish customer service … AVOID SO THAT DO NOT REGRET. The name should be changed from Sky to Hell

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️ I haven’t been a Sky customer for over 5 years, yet somehow a fraudster hacked my old account and ordered a brand new iPhone worth £1128 in my name. I reported this to Sky five times. I also reported it to the police and the cyber crime unit. And what has Sky done? Absolutely nothing. It has now been 4 days since I raised the alarm – and the fraudulent order is STILL active on my account. Even worse, someone is still actively trying to hack into my Sky account, and Sky is just sitting on their hands, doing nothing to stop it. To make matters worse, I had to take it upon myself to contact DPD directly in order to try to cancel the delivery – because Sky refused to take any responsibility. Imagine that: Sky allowed a fraudster to order an expensive phone in my name, failed to stop it despite my repeated reports, and then left me to clean up the mess on my own by chasing the courier. This is a total disgrace. Sky clearly has: No proper security checks No verification process No commitment to protecting customers I have suffered unnecessary stress and anxiety due to Sky’s negligence, and I’m now involving lawyers to take this further. If this is how Sky treats customers (and ex-customers!), then nobody is safe. Avoid Sky at all costs – they will not protect you, your account, or your personal data.

I have been with SKY for years and never had an issue up until now. I have Sky HD and I also pay £15 for multiroom which you can clearly see on MySky app account. I have been having issues with one of my tv’s recently as I can only seem to be getting the Freeview channels. I rung sky a while back and all they did was try and push you to upgrade to Sky Q which I don’t really want as I am happy with HD. I then paid for a contractor to come out who has tried everything from moving the sky dish to changing the cables in case there was a fault to various other things but still nothing. I then spoke to someone at sky yesterday who informed me THEY disconnected my multiroom on the 2/8. WHY?? They can’t do that without the customers consent! I am paying for a monthly subscription for channels I can’t even use and have also paid a lot to my contractor! I have been told Sky do this in order for customers to have no choice but to upgrade to Q! It’s absolutely disgusting and totally unacceptable. I have received a complaints number (4311606869) and was told someone will get back to me within 5 days but I know they won’t! No one will tell me why I have been disconnected apart from I have an old box and I need to upgrade! How many times do I have to say I don’t want Q! I am now just getting pushed from pillar to post and all I want is for my multiroom to be put back on as you can NOT disconnect it without my consent. I also want compensation for my losses. If this doesn’t happen I will be taking further action. I seem to be getting nowhere on the phone so maybe this is the only way I may get a response.

Sky failed on three occasions to install full fibre. It’s now two months since I made the contract. It’s complete incompetence.

After nearly a decade as a loyal Sky customer, I’m extremely disappointed and feel compelled to share my experience. First, Sky removed over 300GB of Piggybank data that I had previously paid for. As a gesture of goodwill, they offered a six-month discount and additional data, with the assurance that I could leave if I wasn’t satisfied. However, I’ve now discovered that this “gesture” actually locked me into a new 12-month contract without my explicit consent. This feels misleading and akin to a bait-and-switch tactic. To make matters worse, when I requested to escalate the issue to a supervisor during a call with customer service, I was told that no supervisors were available which raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. Between questionable retention practices and evasive customer support, this experience has eroded my trust in Sky. I will be exploring other providers moving forward.

Sky are a rip off, they sent an e mail saying my package is due to expire with an offer of £X per month then luckily I checked it is actually double what I was paying as the “package didn’t include our internet… sneaky e mail and a rip off and useless customer service!!!

Completely useless. I’m supposedly a valued sky diamond customer yet despite the crazy amount I pay them every month they have no interest in solving issues which leave me without uhd and WiFi access for multiple days
