My Sky Plus HD box suddenly stopped recording and the pause function did not work. I contacted Sky customer services who after many painstaking tests from their end advised the hard drive in my box seemed to be the problem. It was an old box so I was not that surprised. They offered to install Sky Q but I really wanted to carry on with Sky Plus. The lady advised I could source one from the internet and Sky would reimburse me for the cost. So far so good. The first box arrived from Amazon but would not work at all. I spoke to the retailer who advised some boxes suffered damage in transit and I received a full refund from Amazon. I found another box and decided to pick it up myself just to ensure it was not damaged in transit. This one worked but did not let me watch Sky sports or several other programs I had access to. I contacted Sky customer services and after a few checks they advised they needed to send me another viewing card. They did however confirm Sky would reimburse me for the refurbished box. The card came a few days later but was no better. Upon calling Sky again I was offered another viewing card but could not see how that could help. During the call the latest customer service person advised Sky would not reimburse me for the refurbished box. By this time my faith in Sky was hitting rock bottom. I asked her to explain why the previous agents had lied but to no avail. She kept putting me on hold so she could talk to her supervisor and I got rather fed up by this time said I was seriously thinking of leaving Sky and asked to talk directly to a supervisor. She said she would transfer me but she actually put me through to the cancellation department, which actually was great. I spoke to a guy called Kevin who after hearing me rant on about the way I had been dealt with, simply took the details of my box and the viewing card and refreshed the system from his end. It was like a Eureka moment, everything was working just as it should! I asked Kevin about the reimbursement request from two prior customer service agents and he did advise this was not aware of this normally happening but having checked with his supervisor he agreed they could give me the option of having the refund or an improved monthly reduced charge, which financially was far better. I took the reduced charge and even extended my contract term which also had the advantage of the reduced monthly payment. Kevin really did put my faith back in Sky and although at some stage I know I will have to move on to Sky Q I am still very happy with the service and value for money that Sky provide especially when you get the right people helping. Thanks Kevin you are a star.

BT tried to poach me from Sky. They totally messed up and if Sky hadn't been there to 'pick up the pieces ' I would have been up the creek without a paddle. BT were rubbish from start to finish and Sky were there reassuring me every step of the way. If you're thinking of joining Sky, don't hesitate, get on and do it; if you're thinking of leaving them think again very carefully. Customer care at Sky is second to none.

I have been on the phone with JIMMY SINCE 18.33 TONIGHT UNTIL NOW. He tried everything and more to get my new remote control to work. Rather than give up and order a new one. HONEST AND STRAIGHT. I had several questions and rather than just reply with any answers he would let me know rules that stated whether or not he could interreact or not and give me the number of the department that could. I would have thought rubbish service man doesn't know anything about sky. THANK YOU JIMMY

I went to the sky stand in Swindon today and got the best customer service ever. The gentleman talked though everything with me and explained things I wasn't sure of. His name was George. As a single woman it was so nice to be treated like I was. Thank you George 😊

Got speaking in the same week that my friends got speaking to an amazing agent called Louise, the best agent in any company I have ever spoken too, I even asked if she would join my sales team in a different company, so polite so helpful never experienced customer service like it but i think she said that she was leaving next week! My question why do companies let go the best staff. Really restored my faith in sky, honest polite and I came into the conversation hostile but she was so kind that I asked to sort out my other accounts with sky that had my name on their account, I was in the que for an hour before I spoke to her but she rest assured that she would take care of me and she did. I even offered her a job.

Got to be one of the smoothest interactions with sky we have ever had, and we’ve been with sky for over 10 years now. Patrick got us a deal and a discount on our broadband, no hassle, no pushy selling, just great and genuine service. Sky should give this man a pay rise!

No land line so contacted SKY by mobile. Gentleman talked me through procedures in order to reestablish successful connection .Very patient as had to disconnect and reconnect many cable. asamdisabled.

I was having issues with my sky q mini boxes there was a message coming up on my tv screen saying issues no satellite connection rang sky the put me in touch with terry the technician omg how helpful was he he video called and after 2and half hours he fixed the problem one amazing man deserves a medal THANK YOU TERRY for your amazing help👍

I got Barry in Retention’s and I have to admit, he was excellent. He called me every time on time, and broke barriers to get me a new deal on my package which was better than what I expected. I also dealt with Andrea who was brilliant fixing my sky VIP. She was polite and called me every time she said she would. I am with sky over 10 years, and due to the impeccable service from Barry and might I also add Andrea, i am happy to stay with sky. It’s understandable there can be bad experiences with any service provider but this shouldn’t reflect on all the individuals in the job. My sky tv has never had issue and I found any time I needed to contact them, albeit longs waits, they were courteous and accommodating. Thanks Barry for flawless service and thanks Andrea for sticking with it when I was having issues.

Saurabh has been fabulous today whilst organising the upgrade of my broadband. I really wanted to do the survey to recommend Saurabh and believed it would be sent via email but it must be at the end of the call, and I put the phone down. I really hope that this review is seen by Saurabh’s supervisors. He is an asset to the company.

Situation at home not very good at the moment due to illness. Had a problem with sky bill just spoken to a sky customer service man excellent service dread these type of phone calls at moment expected this to be complicated but very helpful advise . Been with sky for over 3 yrs first time for any type of problem with them. Five out of Five .Thanks

Just had sky installed I was a bit dubious at first but there was no need The technician Andy was absolutely brilliant and it was all done and dusted in 1/2 hour couldn't believe how quick he was and a very pleasant guy to boot talk about "wham bam thank you ma'am"€ Thanks sky and Andy Gerry .6

I had a problem with a mini-box spoke to a really nice gentleman called Ryan he was very comprehensive with his answers extremely helpful and ordered an engineer to call in just two days,then he arranged for my monthly bill to be reduced by fifteen pounds.Fantastic service from a great company.10 out of 10.
