“I didn't know anything about this company but I found them in my search to replace my 2 old ceiling fans from early 2000s. Most fans I came across were either ugly or very expensive, but Smafan had a lot of nice designs and the price was right. I ended up with a single Icebreaker Outdoor 60'' Smart Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit. I needed an electrician to install with scaffolding but I've seen the instructions and it's pretty easy DIY if you can reach your ceiling and have 1 person to help. The fan operates very quiet even on max speed and moves a lot of air and the light is both dimmable and color temperature adjustable among some other nice features. The only tricky part was connecting to the app, it requires you to switch your phone's wifi connection to 2.5G then pair, then you can switch back to whatever network you use. I've never used another smart device that requires that so it's a bit strange, but if you follow the instructions it's clear. Also there is no beeping sound to notify you it is in pairing mode as written in the instructions, only a red light (maybe my model does not have?). This connected to my Google Home Assistant with no issues. Anyways I'm not going to remove a star for the app pairing as it did not affect my satisfaction with the product, but if there were something improve about this product I would look at that. I am considering buying a few pendant lights they offer as well.”

“Called looking for a fan with a slower speed than I had found thus far. The rep said he will research the question and get back to me. It took a day or two but he sent email with a recommended fan. I ordered two of them as they were on sale, and am very happy with the result.”
