My SMEG toaster had a heating element issue. I submitted the issue for warranty and within 3 business days a new replacement toaster arrived at my doorstep. Totally happy, thanks SMEG!

Smeg is awesome - customer service amazing! So happy they replaced my coffeemaker extremely fast. Great product, great service. Iā€™m a happy customer and will be making another purchases very soon. Thanks SMEG for being SO AWESOME :)

Brilliant customer service! I reported a fault with my 2 year old kettle and within 5 minutes I had an email confirming a replacement was on its way, no quibble or questions. Thank you.

Reported a fault on a 3 year old product that was out of warranty. Received a response within the hour confirming that a replacement was en route! Incredible customer service.

This was the 3rd oven sent to us as there were things not quite right the first 2 and they never once made me feel I was being too pickie or annoying. They just wanted me to be completely happy with my purchase. Which I now am.

smeg bm93bl cooker the glass in the main oven does not stay in it a pain when tying to cook been out 3 times now to fix still not done

I have a SMEG coffee maker, the product is fine but customer service is terrible. zero concern or interest in customer needs and problems. Maintenance support is terrible.

Beautiful equipment, but due to the poor QC in Italy, coupled with the lack of service available in NA, I would not recommend SMEG products to anyone. 2 stars is generous and based solely on aesthetics, which won't do you any good when you're a few out from Christmas and without a functioning oven!!

I have had replacement kettle but my toaster was just out of warranty when that stopped working so time has passed but I have complained again yesterday to no avail. It looks brand new as we canā€™t use it yet my daughters cheap toaster has been working for years

Yes! Wish I had thought to look at more reviews prior to purchasing a kettle and toaster from Amazon 2 years ago The kettle has started to leak and the paint has worn off the lid. Itā€™s also started to rust! Weā€™re Brits living in the US and drink a lot of tea. Customer service is dreadful! The appliances have lots of cheap plastic parts and for the ridiculous high price itā€™s just not worth it. I would love to add pictures but it says file could not be uploadedā€¦ from Apple Photographs? I will never buy from them again!

Paid a lot of money for a beautiful Smeg range, expected it to last years, now black paint is cracking, obviously due to heat from the oven & grill, yes we purchased 6 years ago, but would expect a cooker of this price range to last longer. Customer Service are no help, just told we can replace the damaged parts, how much would that cost, I dread to think. Extremely disappointed. Would never purchase Smeg again.

I agree, Smeg are 5 star for being useless and 1 star for customer service, I bought a cooker hood, Ā£665 and it only runs at maximum speed, when I said itā€™s faulty they said the ducting is incorrect, it is not it is as stated in the manual and I had a cooker hood before, 127mm 5ā€, they do not contact me nor offer any solution, they even said the manual is wrong, it should be 150mm, as it doesnā€™t have an air flow meter in the ducting I canā€™t see how it cannot be faulty, if there theory is correct it should only run at a slow speed and not a maximum speed, is it possible to be so technically incompetent, expensive goods backed up by idiots

The kettle had stopped working after 1 year and they are saying that there is no warranty on it and nothing can be done. Thatā€™s very upsetting given the face that the kettle costs 250$ and it is the only kettle that lasted in my house for less than two months! DO NOT BUY!!!

$900 coffee machine lasted less than 10 months of use, customer service is a nightmare: rude and unhelpful on the phone then give you the runaround via email.

As a builder, I was introduced to Smeg at an appliance open house at a Convention Center in Sacramento California. I fell in Love with the looks of the product, so I ended up buying 14 of them for a subdivision I have, Out of those fourteen homes through a series of communications. Ten of them had to be replaced. There were 30-inch gas single flame ranges. During that same period of time, I was remodeling a home for myself, and I installed a 36 inch single flame gas Smeg Range (that was a mistake I should have ordered duel flame). From the beginning the oven never got to the correct temperature, the cook top worked great. But the oven was a problem. They came out, put a new gasket in, thought that would solve the problem. And it did not. Since then, where I bought the appliances called three service companies to come out and they all said they do not work on Smeg. And now the appliances store have told me that they're not going to stand behind Smeg product. So, I'm stuck with a beautiful Smeg range that the oven does not work. The other night I was going to broil something. And of course, the broiler did not work. I was playing around with it a couple days later and the broiler started working. We have an issue there and I don't want to have leaking gas in my house when the flame doesn't ignite. And I can't use it for upcoming Thanksgiving because it doesn't get up to the proper temperature. Don't buy SMEG
