I had an issue with Spicejet in July. I reported a safety concern and sent a video. They investigated and contradicted what the video showed even though it was timestamped andbwas aboard the flight. They also offered no assistance when they cancelled a connecting flight and left passengers arrange their own way out of India as we had bo visas as transit passengers. They offered compensation which was less than the cost of international calls I made regarding the issue. I sent bank info...foolishly..and they did nothing with nothing deposited as promised. Not sure why they would do this but now advised to close.my account by my bank as they have all my info...would you trust them ?. Reported to Nodal Team, Appealatte Authority and Ajay Singh...no interest what so ever in customer care.

Public Appeal & Formal Record: Request for Full Refund on Humanitarian Grounds This post is to formally highlight the continued non-resolution of my refund grievance with SpiceJet, despite repeated follow-ups. The travel was impacted due to the demise of my mother, a situation clearly falling under humanitarian grounds. All relevant details were shared with SpiceJet through official grievance channels. However, there was no response initially. Only after posting earlier on LinkedIn did I receive a mere acknowledgement email from SpiceJet. Since then, there has been complete silence — no update, no decision, no timeline, and no resolution. In cases involving bereavement, airlines are expected to act with sensitivity, responsibility, and fairness. An acknowledgement without action does not amount to grievance redressal. I am once again requesting SpiceJet to: Consider my case on humanitarian grounds Process a full refund Provide a clear written response with a defined timeline Failing this, I will be compelled to pursue further escalation through appropriate regulatory and legal channels, which I would prefer to avoid. This post is made respectfully and in good faith, solely seeking closure and resolution. Awaiting immediate action. #SpiceJet #HumanitarianGrounds #RefundPending #CustomerRights #GrievanceRedressal #Accountability

Worst flying experience. We were on the Dubai to Del flight that was supposed to be 3hrs and 20 mins as per the announcements. There was an hour delay at Dubai airport. Flight was diverted to Jaipur due to fog. We were in the plane for 13 hours. Stuck on the plane for o3 hours even after landing at Delhi airport. Waiting for parkyand coaches to arrive. Never fying SpiceJet again!

SpiceJet is essentially a flying bus, and not a tour bus, but a bus with rats nesting in the cassis, gas-chamber ventilation and malfunctioning AC that make you feel like you are slowly being poached. If your are 6’ and about 85kg like me, you may be cursed with one of the middle seats. Just be aware all of them are broken. You will inevitably wind up in an elbow war with the people next to you because they will also feel hot and territorial. SpiceJet rivals other Indian airlines that are no longer in business due to abysmal service. If Indigo is a used 2005 Maruti with broken indicators, Spicejet is an autorickshaw with a drunk driver at the wheel with bad gas and BO.

Over time I realized how significantly stress and burnout had affected my sense of direction. Connecting with Alpha Recovery was genuinely reassuring—their prompt responses, clear guidance, and professional understanding made the withdrawal process far more manageable. I also encountered a technical issue when withdrawing funds from my brokerage account, which their team resolved quickly and with evident expertise. Their efficient support made the entire experience smooth, and I would confidently recommend their services to others.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Unjustified Cabin Baggage Charges for Book and Laptop (3kg) Dear SpiceJet Customer Support, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an incident I experienced during my recent travel with SpiceJet. I was charged for carrying a book and a laptop in my hand baggage, which together weighed only 3 kilograms. As per standard airline policies and my understanding of SpiceJet’s cabin baggage allowance, a laptop and a small personal item such as a book are typically permitted in addition to the main cabin baggage, especially when the combined weight is well within the allowed limit. In this case, the total weight of my book and laptop was merely 3 kg, which I believe should not have warranted any additional charge. I kindly request a review of this charge and a clarification of your baggage policy regarding personal items such as laptops and books. If this charge was applied in error, I would appreciate a refund and assurance that such discrepancies will be avoided in the future. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.

Worst airline I have ever dealt with. Their flight timings are completely unreliable either heavily delayed or changed last minute without any respect for passengers. They even take off earlier than scheduled without informing anyone. When you try reaching out, they don’t answer calls, don’t respond to complaints, and their customer service is practically nonexistent. In my recent experience, the airline departed 20 minutes early and refused to board us even though we reached the gate on time. What makes it worse is that their own staff admitted that they had not informed us of the change in flight timing, claiming that the message would have gone to our agent, yet the agent confirmed they had also received no update from the airline. So neither the passengers nor the agent were informed, and we were still blamed for it. We were left waiting for over 3 hours with no solution. All they said was to email customer service. We did, received a standard automated case number, and then absolutely nothing. No response, no follow-up and it’s been a week. This is by far the worst flight experience I’ve ever had. Passengers are left helpless, with zero communication or accountability from the airline. Avoid this airline completely if you expect even basic service, information, or professionalism.

Very bad experience. Started boarding before time and we had to run to the boarding gate. They charged 750 Rs for every 1 kg extra weight of cabin bag. We were ready to do check in our bag but they said it is closed and after paying huge amount we boarded..and the flight delayed more than 1.5 hrs after boarding. Horrible and very bad experience. I will never fly again in this flight for sure
