“Horrible flight, I would never suggest anyone to travel with SpiceJet. These people do not respond and their flight will be keep delaying in every five minutes. The ground staff is not present in the airport to help also, and if it’s stealing 5 to 6, they will not provide even male or ask for something. They just disappear. It’s a third class flight. It’s horrible then train. I would suggest to travel from train but not from SpiceJet. Customer service is again a pathetic thing very bad experience. We spent so much of money to travel in a less time and comfortably. But these people just take money and do not provide anything. I will suggest, kindly, please close if you cannot fulfil customer needs.”
“Extremely Poor Passenger Care on Delayed Flight SG263 (Delhi–Kolkata, 9 Oct 2025) . My son was travelling by this flight.
This is to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the utterly careless and insensitive handling of passengers on your flight SG263 from Delhi to Kolkata on 9th October 2025.
The flight, scheduled to depart at 7:30 AM, was delayed by over two and a half hours and took off only around 10:00 AM. Passengers had been waiting since as early as 5:00 AM, yet not a single glass of water or any refreshment was offered at the airport lounge or on board before take-off.
Such complete neglect of basic passenger comfort and dignity is shocking for an airline that claims to value customer experience. Even after boarding, there was no acknowledgment of the delay, no courtesy announcement, and no attempt to offer refreshments as a gesture of goodwill.
The flight finally landed at Kolkata around 11:55 AM, meaning passengers spent nearly seven hours in total transit without even minimal care. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing.
I urge you to reflect seriously on how poorly this situation was handled. If this is the level of customer care SpiceJet offers, it’s no surprise that passengers are rapidly losing trust. I expect a clear explanation for this lapse and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.

“This was the worst flight experience of my life. Flight SG012 from Dubai to Delhi had no Wi-Fi, unprofessional staff, and absolutely no consideration for passengers’ needs. Even when there was a small baby and a pregnant lady onboard, they refused to provide a blanket despite repeated requests. The so-called senior crew was extremely rude and dismissive. Very disappointed with the service.
Never book a spicejet flight when you are with family.”

“SpiceJet is blatantly deceiving customers. They advertise flights at prices lower than Indigo and Air India, only to cancel those flights later without issuing any refunds. I have lost ₹15,000 due to SpiceJet’s irresponsible actions. I booked a direct flight for my parents, which was canceled just one week before departure. Instead of processing a refund, they falsely claimed that I had opted for an alternate flight. The so-called alternate option they provided is a connecting flight with a total journey time of five hours, whereas I originally booked a direct flight that takes only three hours.
This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered in flight booking.
Moreover, I have come across numerous similar reviews about SpiceJet.
It appears they are attempting to manipulate public perception by purchasing fake reviews to mask their growing negative reputation.”
“Terrible customer service. Nodal Team failed to return promised call backs and all issues ignored including cancellations and safety concerns. Emails are not answered so only way to contact us by international calling at your expense. Issues are ignored even when evidence is put before them.”
“This was by far the worst airline experience I have ever had. My sister and I, both UAE resident visa holders with valid Emirates IDs and U.S. visas, were traveling on SpiceJet Flight SG018 from Cochin to Dubai.
At the check-in counter, SpiceJet staff outright refused to even try processing our documents. Instead of assisting, they immediately dismissed us. When we asked them to attempt with our Emirates IDs — something that has worked with other airlines before — they arrogantly refused.
The so-called “duty manager” who came to handle the situation was shockingly unprofessional. He was rude, hostile, and went as far as shouting at us in front of other passengers. It was humiliating, disrespectful, and completely uncalled for. When we asked for a written explanation of why we were being denied boarding, with signature and stamp, he flatly refused — something no professional airline would ever do.
Only after repeated pressure did they finally try — and unsurprisingly, my UAE visa permit came through instantly. This proves that the entire issue was their unwillingness to even make an attempt in the first place. My sister’s didn’t go through because of a system mismatch, but the fact remains: had they simply done their job from the start, we would not have gone through such public humiliation and stress.
To make matters worse, this is peak season for Cochin–Dubai flights and ticket prices are already exorbitant (₹54,000 now, booked at around ₹40,000 earlier). One wasted ticket, plus hotel bookings already made for our trip, has caused a major financial setback — all because of SpiceJet’s negligence and arrogance.
On top of all this, the flight itself was delayed as usual — scheduled at 10:45 PM, delayed to 11:30 PM, and further delayed on arrival to 2:45 AM. SpiceJet clearly has no respect for passengers’ time, money, or dignity.
This airline thrives on inefficiency, arrogance, humiliation of passengers, and a complete lack of professionalism. If this is how SpiceJet handles international passengers, then it speaks volumes about their standards. Absolutely unacceptable, disgraceful service. I will strongly discourage anyone from flying with SpiceJet”
“Terrible and Pathetic service from the check in counter Manager Akbar Ali and his team, Airlines reschedule there flight 15min early and if we are late by 5min they deny us from check in ,issue with airline wheelchair service, entrance door security too slow worst than a worm”
“My experience with SpiceJet was very disappointing. Neither their customer service nor the nodal officer helped me, and they were completely unsuccessful in resolving my concerns related to the legalities of booking and vending. Their policies are implemented strictly without any laxity, due to which passengers do not get any solution or help.
I strongly warn my fellow passengers to think twice before booking with this airline. In my opinion, traveling with a spa jet is like inviting trouble for yourself.
