Subject: Complaint Regarding Unjustified Cabin Baggage Charges for Book and Laptop (3kg) Dear SpiceJet Customer Support, I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an incident I experienced during my recent travel with SpiceJet. I was charged for carrying a book and a laptop in my hand baggage, which together weighed only 3 kilograms. As per standard airline policies and my understanding of SpiceJet’s cabin baggage allowance, a laptop and a small personal item such as a book are typically permitted in addition to the main cabin baggage, especially when the combined weight is well within the allowed limit. In this case, the total weight of my book and laptop was merely 3 kg, which I believe should not have warranted any additional charge. I kindly request a review of this charge and a clarification of your baggage policy regarding personal items such as laptops and books. If this charge was applied in error, I would appreciate a refund and assurance that such discrepancies will be avoided in the future. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.

Booked for thailand,2 months before at lowest price..they just cancelled the flight both ways intentionally just before 10 days due to their change in schedule only.. Horrible,as the price is very high now,they will sell our seats at much much higher price... will never book spice jet EVER.. HATE YOU

Never ever book this flight. I have a 4year old kid and flight was supposed to depart at 12:05am but its now departing at 2am. Spicejet is a joke

Worst airline I have ever dealt with. Their flight timings are completely unreliable either heavily delayed or changed last minute without any respect for passengers. They even take off earlier than scheduled without informing anyone. When you try reaching out, they don’t answer calls, don’t respond to complaints, and their customer service is practically nonexistent. In my recent experience, the airline departed 20 minutes early and refused to board us even though we reached the gate on time. What makes it worse is that their own staff admitted that they had not informed us of the change in flight timing, claiming that the message would have gone to our agent, yet the agent confirmed they had also received no update from the airline. So neither the passengers nor the agent were informed, and we were still blamed for it. We were left waiting for over 3 hours with no solution. All they said was to email customer service. We did, received a standard automated case number, and then absolutely nothing. No response, no follow-up and it’s been a week. This is by far the worst flight experience I’ve ever had. Passengers are left helpless, with zero communication or accountability from the airline. Avoid this airline completely if you expect even basic service, information, or professionalism.

Im giving one star because i had to give this. If there is negative reviews ill give -5 rating for auch Bakwas Airlines. My flight supposed to leave from Mumbai to Banglore at the 22:30 but it departed at 1:40 at night. We have ask to servicer he said sir there is service check is going and no body give proper response. In future in any emergency ill not book spice jet again very bad experience

Very bad experience. Started boarding before time and we had to run to the boarding gate. They charged 750 Rs for every 1 kg extra weight of cabin bag. We were ready to do check in our bag but they said it is closed and after paying huge amount we boarded..and the flight delayed more than 1.5 hrs after boarding. Horrible and very bad experience. I will never fly again in this flight for sure

Horrible flight, I would never suggest anyone to travel with SpiceJet. These people do not respond and their flight will be keep delaying in every five minutes. The ground staff is not present in the airport to help also, and if it’s stealing 5 to 6, they will not provide even male or ask for something. They just disappear. It’s a third class flight. It’s horrible then train. I would suggest to travel from train but not from SpiceJet. Customer service is again a pathetic thing very bad experience. We spent so much of money to travel in a less time and comfortably. But these people just take money and do not provide anything. I will suggest, kindly, please close if you cannot fulfil customer needs.

Extremely Poor Passenger Care on Delayed Flight SG263 (Delhi–Kolkata, 9 Oct 2025) . My son was travelling by this flight. This is to express my deep dissatisfaction and disappointment with the utterly careless and insensitive handling of passengers on your flight SG263 from Delhi to Kolkata on 9th October 2025. The flight, scheduled to depart at 7:30 AM, was delayed by over two and a half hours and took off only around 10:00 AM. Passengers had been waiting since as early as 5:00 AM, yet not a single glass of water or any refreshment was offered at the airport lounge or on board before take-off. Such complete neglect of basic passenger comfort and dignity is shocking for an airline that claims to value customer experience. Even after boarding, there was no acknowledgment of the delay, no courtesy announcement, and no attempt to offer refreshments as a gesture of goodwill. The flight finally landed at Kolkata around 11:55 AM, meaning passengers spent nearly seven hours in total transit without even minimal care. This is unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. I urge you to reflect seriously on how poorly this situation was handled. If this is the level of customer care SpiceJet offers, it’s no surprise that passengers are rapidly losing trust. I expect a clear explanation for this lapse and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused. Sincerely, Vivek Singh

Spicejet ko chhor kar kisi bhi flight me travel kar lijiye but isme nahi.Aisa gair jimmevar company ye hai malum nahin tha. 02 October ko family infant ke sath Bangaluru se patna ke liye flight no SG -531 tha.Boarding pass bhi issue ho chuka tha .airport pahunchne par entry ke time pata chalta hai flight cancelled hai.NA KOI MSG, NA KOI MAIL, NA KOI CALL Cancellation ke regarding.Problem to hua hi Paise bhi abhi tak return nahi mile hai.

This was the worst flight experience of my life. Flight SG012 from Dubai to Delhi had no Wi-Fi, unprofessional staff, and absolutely no consideration for passengers’ needs. Even when there was a small baby and a pregnant lady onboard, they refused to provide a blanket despite repeated requests. The so-called senior crew was extremely rude and dismissive. Very disappointed with the service. Never book a spicejet flight when you are with family.

Facing so much of problem since year and now we decided to stop travelling via Spicejet. Every flight is delayed or directly cancelled. Bad customer support. Bad luggage handling . Better to choose other airline.

SpiceJet is blatantly deceiving customers. They advertise flights at prices lower than Indigo and Air India, only to cancel those flights later without issuing any refunds. I have lost ₹15,000 due to SpiceJet’s irresponsible actions. I booked a direct flight for my parents, which was canceled just one week before departure. Instead of processing a refund, they falsely claimed that I had opted for an alternate flight. The so-called alternate option they provided is a connecting flight with a total journey time of five hours, whereas I originally booked a direct flight that takes only three hours. This has been the worst experience I have ever encountered in flight booking. Moreover, I have come across numerous similar reviews about SpiceJet. It appears they are attempting to manipulate public perception by purchasing fake reviews to mask their growing negative reputation.
