Extremely disappointing experience with spice jet. I was just 3 minutes late to the check-in counter, and instead of offering help or alternatives, the staff demanded extra charges with zero empathy. Rigid policies, poor customer service, and unprofessional behavior. Felt completely unsupported and clueless. Would not recommended

Read all the bad reviews of SpiceJet and here I am waiting for a flight that has been rescheduled over 4 hours with a chance of it being cancelled. Super frustrated. I had no other option since SpiceJet was the only flight flying directly to my destination. All plans had to be cancelled with so much of own cost involved. SpiceJet not taking any responsibility nor accountability

My check in luggage was under weight, my cabin bag was over weight , still spice jet staff at boarding pass counter told me that you can take your cabin bag with some extra weight. We have no problem with that, but at the time of scanning boarding pass while getting into the the plan at the last moment they said that ill have to pay extra 500 dirhams to take the luggage in. If they had said something before i could have managed something but this all happened at the last moment when i had no time left. They are looting the customers like this, overall very bad experience.

I wonder why we play huge cancellation charges when we cancel a flight but airlines cancel flights at their will with a short message apologizing for the inconvenience caused. Why are they not liable to pay cancellation and inconvenience charges to the customer #airlinegrievance

I was traveling with spice jet on 12 Jan 2025 SG 13 Mumbai to Dubai departure time 10.55 PM. I was running bit late because of traffic and kindly apologize to staff as well they said ok you arrived 120 Min before that fine will do asap you’re checked-in. I was doing documentation for Boarding pass My Luggage bag was 1 kg extra i requested them please adjust 1 kg they denied i removed 1 kg from my bag . Also in hand luggage 5 kg extra they explain me same removed or Pay i was ready to pay 3 kg and removed 2 kg (3900 Rps for 3 kg) both staff was good with me and process was going on. One staff Ms Kalpana came and keep interfered in my boarding process ,she doesn’t know i paid for extra luggage and without knowing said i will see how they are released you’re Boarding pass you have to pay i will hold your boarding i said i paid still dint gave me boarding pass kept with her. Even aging i said now i have to pay my shoulder sling bag also i kept my bag on weigh-machine i was ready to pay that also i was getting late because of her . She keep saying pragati you’re always traveling with spice jet and bring extra luggage’s that words was shocking because i travelled once in while with spice jet and you can checked as well but Kalpana kept her drama on without reasons doing arguments with me also used some offensive words to me literally i cried you can check CCTV footage as evidence Such worst experience with Spice-jet . Really i will request take some action those kind of employees we are not paying to get such experiences .Kindly show some respect towards customers 👏🏻. Thank you .

Tanmay and shweta from ground staff tried to take money from me By claiming the handbag weight to be overboard by 1 kg All this when they dint let me check in at the counter even when i was 1 hour early. Completely unprofessional staff and rude to customers , they even told me that they did a favour my letting me check in when they dint want to. Such audacity !!!!

Spicejet Flight experience was very pathetic, Seats are torn off, Seats pockets are completely torn off, Seats are very hard and the flight is very worst. Flight sound is very pathetic and while landing flight is very Shakey. On a total experience, I advise please do not take life risk by travelling with this or any flight belongs to SPICE JET. they do not care about our safety at all. Note: Hostess Shamu, Supriya and others are very friendly and very good.

Flight SG712 was delayed for more than 2 hours and then return flight SG711 is again later for more than 2 hours. I am never going to book SpiceJet again. Everytime the reason for delay is reported as operation issue.

Today 3 January 2025 while going backs to Delhi from Andaman by SpiceJet Flight @ 5 PM, The ground clearing staff at Port Blair airport has asked me to take-out my consumed half filled scotch and vodka bottle from the check-in baggage. I tried to explain them that the same I was carrying from Delhi in some other airlines but they kept on going by the book and I have to Give it away to some unknown person. Indigo is allowing to carry it in check-in baggage but not in SpiceJet? How can the rules be different at Different airports in India? The same was scanned at Delhi, Kolkata and now problem only at Port Blair airport? How can the safety rules are different in Port Blair? This has left a bad taste in my mouth, guess I’m not going to travel with SpiceJet again.

While Spice jet is known for delays and flight cancellations, a new glory adds to your company now, that is poor in-flight services and safety concerns!! I was travelling to Patna through spice jet SG8721 from Delhi. My PNR no is MGSZTA. I booked seat no 2A and when I boarded the flight there was a passenger in seat no 3A who won't allow me to tilt my seat. He started pushing me and my head got hit in the seat ahead me. This is a serious safety concern. I asked for help from the flight attendant Gaurav, Ankit and mitali but they said to resolve it mutually as there was no seat left to change my seat with. This incidence has made me doubt the competency of your staff and your policies even incase their is a medical emergency while on flight in case if there would have been any medical issue what would your attendants have done. What if the passenger would have hurt me severely during flight? Where is the scope of feeling secured as well as respected while travelling with spice jet? During the entire flight I could not tilt my seat while the person sitting ahead kept his seat tilted. I had booked meals but could not enjoy them as well. All the wastage of money!! I had written to customer service and Nodal officer on the email given in their website but have not got any satisfactory response !! Shameless and pathetic!! I am a frequent flyer but this is the first time I choose Spice jet. But it was my mistake. I have not seen such a behaviour in any of the airlines I have been flying with. I am bringing this to your concern so that you may take corrective actions against your staff. Also I would claim compensation for this service drawback. I shall definately tell my family, friends and colleagues as well as my company admin and corporate not to book spice jet for any travel they plan !!

Bahut hi kharab experience pahli bar SpiceJet mein Main Safar Kar Raha SpiceJet ki jitni bhi staff Hai yah vate karte rahte ki Kisi bhi tarah pessenger over vate ka saman lekar Aaye aur ham log usko Mel luggage mein Na rakhen aur na Rakh karke inse ulta sidha अनाप-शनाप rakam lene ka koshish karte hain yah log bahut hi kharab experience aur jis Karan se agar aap unhen Paisa nahin dijiyega ya kuchh nahin dijiyega to yah aapka ticket ko cancel bhi kar dete aur koi bhi refund nahin dete flight ko mis kara dete Hain Jaise mere Sath inhone Kiya staff ko bhi log is halat ke liye Aisa halat ke liye rakhte Hain Jahan Se jiske pass agar Saman Biji Ho jaega To vah uske sath Marne aur yah karne per chalate Hain bajate yah bolate Hain ki Jo tumko karna kar lo bajati iske pass mein Jo ek lady kam kar rahi thi gate number 21 mein 3:43 mein jiska flight ka timing tha usmein ek lady Thi boli thi ki aap Bahar nikalo main aapko dekh lunga is tarah ka beh behaviour ka sara staff ko inhone pal karke rakhe like ka bouncer girls and boys

Sg184 is delayed 4 times, i kept day time for landing in delhi as i feared cancellation due to fog. Now after 3-4 revision they gave arrival as 1 am. I have anyway missed the Christmas party with family and friends. Shameful services with no compliance enforcement from policy makers to penalise spicejet or compensate the customer. All dynamic prices that can charge upto 10X more for the same flight. India is place of poor infra and extreme exploitation with very high taxes. These service providers have no answering for they not meeting commitments.

Third class airline...never ever book your flight in spicejet.. cancellation done without any confirmation to there clients. And charge cancellation fees. Beware of these cheaters. Had suffer huge.

Very bad experience, they cancelled the flight without any notification. I came to know about the flight cancellation when i was at checkin counter. They did not supporting for any help. We were at Andaman island and they cancelled flight when there were no next flight for the day. I would recommend please do not book any ticket with this airline. The are not trustworthy and they are not taking care for the passenger.
