Bought a Helly Hansen Patrol Parka November 2 2022 for 400.00 and found out on Nov 20 2022 it’s on sale for 249.98. Also bought keens Revel lv high polar boots for 249.99 and they came on sale for 181.94. I was told Their policy is 2 weeks to get a refund. I was taken for 200.00 because of a 2 week policy that should be 30 days. 200.00 is way to much to loose in under 30 days. I think you forgot that Customer’s make paydays possible. You lost me as a customer.

Seriously whoever came up with the bone-head policy to charge an OBSCENE $2 for a bag for customer purchases is not in touch with reality. Your staff should realize that they are there to serve the customer…uhm I think that’s why they are working there. Fortunately most of your products can be purchased elsewhere at competitive pricing; with friendly customer service and either no charge or a reasonable cost for a “environmentally friendly” bag. I appreciate great customer service; bye bye SportChek.

After buying a $64.99 pair of shoes for my son at a Sports Chek located in a mall setting I was told bags were not supplied and were $2.00. I am sure I am not the only person who does not walk around a mall with reusable bags, leaving me no choice but to purchase one at a ridiculous price. If you want to be environmentally friendly you should provide paper bags and not expect the customer to purchase one and provide the company with free advertising.

Had bad experience with the carrier sportchek used but love the product. Someone was to to call me but never did. I end up buying from golftown because the carrier used was amazing. Be careful ordering online with sportchek because they do not see to care if the carrier is crappy.

I bought a gatorade water bottle, the cover was loose. Went to return, the Manager said the bottle is missing a washer. We checked the store for the same bottle and it did not have a washer. Very callous attitude from the manager with no respect to his customers

Bought kids jacket @ regular price of $169.99. 16 days later I called customer service because the same jacket was on sale for $127. They put me on hold only to come back few minutes later saying “we cannot honour the price difference because you are past 14 days”. I explained to the rep that the jacket still has the tags on it, please save me the headache and refund the price difference. The answer was NO….. Please return the item (online order requiring UPS) to receive a full refund, then buy the same jacket at the sale price………..

They had shoes advertised on sale... I went to the store... No assistance... Impossible to get help... And even though I self-served and tried it was very frustrating. I just gave up. That's the first and last time I'll ever go there..

Online refunds are a terrible frustrating process. DO NOT EVEN BOTHER ORDERING ONLINE, or reserving a product at your favorite by online as canclation is next to impossible process. They promise a 2 week credit , and took 8 months and many calls.

I spent $142 and the associate asked me if I wanted to purchase a bag for $2! I didn’t get a bag and the associate just pushed my purchase across the counter to me…this is such poor customer respect charging such an amount for a bag!

While taking my granddaughter back to school shopping we went to sport check. Only to find that the buy one get one 50% off running shoes didn’t apply. Not only that the huge sign at the back that said 40% off back packs had a small print pertaining to only the lunch bags. Felt that advertising was very deceptive. So disappointing

False advertising. Golf shirts marked 50% of ticketed items but not so. Notified manager but she had an attitude and made no sense. Please go elsewhere for your shopping....

order online at 7 Aug 2022. pick up at toronto leaside location at 9 Aug, First ride at 12 Aug and found the rear brake not work good, also the front wheel and fork is not aligned, simple say is the front wheel is off the center. so I bring it back to the leaside location to have it fix at 13 Aug. they accept my bike and say will send me email to pick it up after is fixed. 15 Aug I got the ready to pick up email, so I go to the leaside toronto location to pick up my bike, they bring me my bike and tell me is all fixed, but after I check it the front wheel off center problem is still the same,it bias to one side ,not at the center. I ask the man service me why? He said he can not fix it but if they still have stock in store ,they can give me another new one or I can return it. I tell him it is perfect if they can fix it because I like the bike a lot. After awhile a man declare himself is the manager name Vu tell me the front wheel off center Problem is normal, it is impossible to fix. the bike is in perfection condition . I tell Vu I want to return it if they can not fix it. He said " you can not return it because you use it already." I asked Vu what if I have a bike mechanic to fix it. will you response the repair bill? He say it can not be fix. also will not response for the bill. no fix, no exchange, no refund and try his best to get rid of me from the store. He does not like the other customers see how he treat an old woman customer. End up I have a skillful mechanic to take off the front wheel and reinstall it. problem is gone. wheel back to normal condition. Vu does not care about my safety. but I do. I am customer of sport check for a long time and always happy about the service but this time is - * hopefully is the first time and last time unacceptable experience. I still love to shop at sport chek But not Leaside Toronto location. I will add a picture after the mechanic fix my bike back to the balance way. to show Mr. Vu it can be fixed if you care!

I bought three bikes during Covid - one was ok. The other two were not and one was already damaged in the box and I had to pay to get two of them assembled. I called Red Deer store and left messages and no one returned my call. I then left a review and they responded and I was given an email to tell them what happened. I received an email back and they said someone would contact me. I have not heard anything. Summer is passing yet again with no bike. So disappointing

I bought golf shoes from Sportchek.ca and they sent me a pair previously worn outside. There were pieces of dried dirt on the sole and some dirt on the outside fabric. I called Sportcheck customer service and they offered me 10% off my next purchase :( and I have to return them to the store in order to get my refund. Poorly done Sportchek!

Bought a Nakamura bike that broke after the second use, Sports Check refused to fix the broken gears because according to the terms of their "guarantee" nothing that moves is covered, that just means they wont cover anything since the bike "moved" when we used it!, very different to what the sale's lady told us when we purchased. "no worries" your bike is fully guaranteed for a full 1 year let alone 1 day! Bad products, terrible service!

I bought a badminton racquet (Yonex Astox, $103.97) from City Centre, Edmonton store on June 21, 2022. Within its two times of use the string of the racquet broke. I got the opportunity to take the racquet back to the store on June 30 along with receipt and was totally disappointed by (1) having been told that the SportCheck does not provide guarantee for string, even though the string has proven to be of an inferior quality; (2) the person at counter was only interested in making her point but hardly ready to listen to or understand my point. Instead of providing any remedy, I was offered to do another purchase at a 20% discount - so forget about what I spent before and again Trust SportsCheck product quality to spend again? I'm unable to understand: - Do they sell a product of over $100 for a two times use and not take the responsibility of their product's quality failures? - Don't they feel anything of having a totally unreasonable and unacceptable policy of simply telling that String is not covered (even a two times use)? I was told to take up the quality issue directly with Yonex rather than they take it with their supplier to stop selling this crab inferior quality string product. I contacted them online, they said that their relevant store (at City Centre Edmonton, AB) will contact me in 2-3 days. What a pathetic customer service, no one contacted me and I'm still sitting with the broken racquet.

I was recently in you abbottsford store, and was looking for some athletic clothes. I looked at your FWD clothing line. I really liked the styles however I noticed a label on the outside of the shorts and some of the pants. I didn't buy them because it had a permanent logo/ sticker/ free label. I speak for a community of around 50 to 60 individuals who would have purchased them if it was on the outside.

If SC wants customers actually buying something how about making sure the customer doesn’t have to go looking all over the store for an associate to open the dressing rooms.
