“Ordered a hockey neck guard received the wrong hockey neck guard. Called them ask them why they sent me a cheaper wrong neck guard. They said human error and that all the items have been sold out. I looked on the site. Multiple stores have the items but they’re unwilling to ship out the correct item and just want to refund money. My whole experience has been very negative last time I received the water bottle that wasn’t packaged properly arrived all dented and chipped looking like it had been run over by a truck. I highly recommend staying away from this company as what you see on the website from my experience has either been not received or incredibly damaged. Don’t expect customer service to try correct the issue without having you jump through a bunch of hoops, and do a bunch of work to get the correct item. They said I,lol have to re-order it from this other company they own to correct issue the company they said to re-order from a company called pro hockey life, which they also own . For me I ordered one item high-end and received a low end item. Just beware. They call it a human error. I call it bait and switch..”

“First order was at xmas, a pair of snowboarding boots for my grandson. I received two different boots in the box. Second order this week, tried to purchase a pair of men's shoes in store, to be told the courtesy coupon ( for the first mix up!) was only good online! So left store. Ordered online, received the box of shoes with the wrong size inside!! Had to drive 45 minutes to closest store again to exchange, and was told not sure why you were told you couldn't use coupon in store!! I give up Sport Chek, won't be ordering online ever again!”

“1st time ordering from this company spent almost $200 for shoes and they never got delivered tried calling customer service spoke to John and he didn't seem to care and the conversation was useless. I will never order from this company worst stressful experience and no one cares from the company”

“Very disappointed with my experience. My order was delayed without clear updates, and when it finally arrived, the wrong item was sent. Customer service was not helpful in resolving the issue. I won’t be ordering from Sport Chek again.”

“I ordered a pair of shoes from sport Check and never received them. The delivery time was extremely lengthy, but finally the delivery service claimed they were delivered. There was no delivery photo as proof. I’ve reached out multiple times to customer service with no response. Extremely frustrating experience. I won’t be ordering from or shopping from Sport Check again, I also would not recommend it to anyone”

“There were more employees than customers in the store while looking for golf shoes for my husband but still could not get any continuous service whatsoever! Each person we dealt with either passed the buck or dropped the ball which resulted in our leaving without making a purchase. We didn’t realize that Sport Chek was a self serve business so will not be going back anytime soon. Terrible experience at Deerfoot South location.”

“I bought some running shoes at the store on Robson, I was a little unsure of the fit and asked the cashier if I could return if they weren’t comfortable and only trying in my home, he said absolutely. I took them home, wore then for 5 minutes walking up and down my condo hallway, which is not very long..I decided they weren’t right so I returned the next day to the store. The manager looked at the bottom of the shoes and said she couldn’t return they were too worn..TOO WORN?..how is that possible? It’s ridiculous. So I REMIND a you to look at the bottom of the shoes and take a picture when you buy them to prove what they look like when you buy..They can be worn around the store by a lot of people, then it’s blamed on you for wearing them too much.. the returns are completely unfair..so be diligent when you purchase there.”

“Ok so I placed an order 7 days ago....purolator to deliver 2-5 business days, they charged my credit card on day one and still no product and purolator tracking says no updates since I placed the order. I have spoken to 4 people now at customer service and emailed with purolator and both have no updates or information for me? This is totally unprofessional and unacceptable from a customer's perspective. I don't understand why customer service said they would look into it 2 days ago and still no resolution. Now a manager sent me an email this am and said she would look into it and still no answer. I give up. Will never ever order from sportchek again!!!”

“I was send a used pair of running shoes, with gravel still wedged in the soles. I called and eventually they refunded without me having to go to store, so they made it right. But I will not buy from them again. It was awful. What moron sends used shoes. Check out my photos. And yes, that was the ci diton of the shoe box ! Lol. This store deserves to be boycotted. This was to be a gift for my aunt. Sending store: Brampton ontario”

“Hello, I recently had an experience at the Sport Chek store in Abbotsford. I was trying to use a remaining gift card and asked customers if they would like to make a transaction with me. The manager at the cash register saw me and, without asking what was going on, immediately told me to leave the store. At first, I didn’t know he was the manager, so I asked who he was and why he was treating me this way. He kept telling me to leave. I felt like I was being treated as if I had done something wrong, even though I hadn’t done anything wrong. I felt very embarrassed, as if I were a thief. After the incident, I left the store. I would like to understand if this approach reflects the store’s policy. I believe the situation could have been handled with more communication and respect.”

“I purchased a Columbia Men's Loma Vista™ III Jacket. Within three weeks the zipper started to fray. It fell apart within a month. Nice Jacket as it fit me perfectly. Shame about the actual materials it was made from, especially given the price. I suggest anyone buying this brand scrutinise the materials, especially the zippers.”

“I ordered shoes for my daughter for Christmas I received the wrong size so I contacted sport chek, they told me I would have to go to a courier and mail them back and wait for a return, if I still wanted these shoes I would have to go on and purchase a second pair. I received the second pair and AGAIN the wrong size! Now they are saying I have to go back and mail these ones back as well and purchasd a THIRD pair if I still want these shoes and wait for them to receive the other two pairs back before they will issue me a return. These are a Christmas present and on my daughter's list so I wanted to get them for her this is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“I bought some shoes on line. I decided not to pick them up from the locker and expected the amount to be credited back to my account as they say will happen on their website. After more than 30 days there is no sign of my refund. I have phoned the customer service a few times and they tell me that it can take up to 30 days for the refund. It is still not there so I have opened a case. Hopefully I will get my money back before the next century.”
