Ordered a bike 2 weeks ago, they took my money. Cannot get ahold of any customer service rep. Tried contacting their head office still no response. This is unethical. Probably going to pursue fraud on them.

Their return policy is ridiculous and unfair to the customer, not to mention with no notice. We are year into this pandemic and no online returns and making your customer pay to ship items back is completely behind. People are getting stuck with product that does not fit or they do not want, but are not being allowed to return it in the mail without cost to them. Making customers wait months to return items and get money back they desperately need is an extremely selfish act for such a larger company. I suggest anyone buying anything they may need returned to avoid Sportchek and shop elsewhere.

Stay away, don't shop here!.I placed an online order today got a confirmation,everything was ok.Soon after,I got an email saying there's a problem with the order and the status showed "cancelled" I called in, pressed "2" for help,and got none.The girl I spoke to said she had no idea why that was,I explained the dept.I got a phone number to call to find out an answer is closed and she said I don't know when they will be open again whether that's tomorrow... Monday.I said it didn't make sense my order was cancelled for some unknown reason and she actually spoke over top of me and said there was nothing she could do(in a very rude tone).She was totally indifferent.I told her she sounded as if she could not care any less.She could not answer any of my questions,not even if my order could be re-instated.This is the worst"customer service" experience.I was astounded at how bad she was.My advice would be to save yourself the agony and sheer frustration and buy elsewhere.I now see why all the reviews are 1 star and wish I'd seen them before I ordered.

Ordered shoes on Nov. 30th, it is now Dec. 16th and the shoes have not arrived. They literally only had to travel from Coquitlam to Vancouver. That's a distance of 30 KM. "Free shipping? Why not? Save me a 20 min drive and they'll be here in 5-7 business days", I thought. I was wrong as Hell because aparently Sportscheck has no idea how to ship anything judging by ALL these reviews. Ive had things come from the other side of the world in 2-3 days. Sportscheck can't deliver across town in 2-3 weeks. Customer service was a joke also. Blamed it on the holidays, like every other retailer in the world is having the same issues. Newsflash, they arn't. You just suck really bad at it. Will never order from them online again. You shouldn't either.

Pathetic return policy. They don't care about the customer and their satisfaction. Bought a pillow online and got to know as soon as the box is opened the product is not returnable. If this is for "hygiene" reasons, how come Amazon accepts returns on pillows bought online??? Will not do business with Sportchek again!!!!

I would put 0 stars if it would let me, Sportchek's website is not working in Chrome Browsers and caused an error in my shipping. I was told by a manager after many hours on the phone that that it was working for him and he did not show interest. I am out $150 and wanted to share my frustration with this company. I thought it was reputable until I was given the run around time and time again. Even after getting a Canada Post tracking number they "forgot" to start the process...

Ordered two pairs of winter boots online. The package shows up with only one pair of boots in it. Upon contacting Sport Chek they do an investigation and claim that the weight of the shipment was the same the whole time and therefore they won't do anything to resolve the issue.....which means I get to pay for two pairs of boots and only received one. It's obvious when you read the amount of negative reviews, that Sport Chek has some internal problems with theft, misleading advertising, and very poor customer service.

Ordered the first bike on May 20 and it was delivered in 5 days. Ordered the second one on May 27 and it's still in "Ready to go" status. I contacted UPS and they said that Sportchek should also schedule an order pickup which they most likely never did. So Sportchek provides UPS tracking number and reports that order was shipped, but it's not true. They didn't proceed any further than just creating a shipping label.

The worst online purchase experience. This is the worst management of Sport Check who is not able to deliver product (not even able to start shipment from warehouse) after 3 weeks of order placement. I purchased bike on May 22 but the product is not pick up from their warehouse. UPS tracking shows that shipment is ready to pick up ????? Sport Check, why do you give business with UPS which is not able to pick up your product 3 weeks? Why your customer services employees are not able to help? Better close your store.

Ordered two bikes on May 26th, no updates on our UPS tracking since. Live agent nowhere to be found. Looks like sportchek are scamming people and will file bankruptcy real soon. Don’t buy here, I wish I had check reviews like this. It’s so sad as we spent 1,200$ to get two bikes. Will never ever spend my money with them again. Karma is coming to you and your staff who don’t do a good job or don’t want to do their jobs. Shame on you Sportchek! Shame on you!!

Well, first I would like to say I don't believe cell phones should be allowed on the employee when they are "working". At Sport Chek in the Georgian Mall I needed some help with a few shirt sizes so I went over to an employee named Hannah who was kinda in a corner. I interrupted her texting, when she should have been "working". She told me "just a minute", and she would be with me. Like seriously???? Phones should be in a locker and used on a break. I told her not to worry and I would find someone else who is actually working. She did have an attitude and shrugged her shoulders and went back to her phone. This behaviour should not be tolerated. I ended up going to Champs where NO ONE was on their phones and were eager to help. Clearly she is not able to work openly on the floor. Maybe she should be at cash checkout where she can't be on her phone, and maybe get an attitude adjustment cause it is horrible.

Very Poor Customer Service! I ordered something online and Canada Post stated it was delivered; however, I never received it. When I contacted Customer Service, they initially stated wait a couple of days and if you still don't receive it, call back and we'll cancel your order. When I called back in 2 days, they advised that I had to wait another 5 days and then call back again......and was left on hold for over 15 minutes....When I advised that I needed the item purchased sooner than that, they suggested I place another order. Why would I place another order when I never received the first one....yet have paid for it.......Will not order from them again!

Order a pair of shoes for Christmas present sent half a box ripped up in a plastic bag looked like a pair of returned shows absorbed disgusting and ridiculous that some moron at sport chek though that was acceptable!!!!!!!

Purchased expensive running shoes yesterday (May 25, 2024). Cashier verified size then placed the shoes on the counter, but without a word, she placed the shoebox behind her on the floor. I tapped my payment and as I was doing that, she said, “ without the box, you cannot bring the shoes back”. ( And now, I’m thinking, I won’t likely bring the shoes back, but why did she take the box without my permission, what if they were a gift for my child and they didn’t fit?). I looked at her, but instead of asking about the box ( I was a little dumbfounded and confused), I asked her for a bag to carry out the shoes. She told me the bag would be two dollars. “ Two dollars?? Really?” I asked her. Anyways, I pointed at the box and said, “ I’ll take the box”. I’m still not sure of the return policy. I thought that this was quite cheeky of her and definitely inappropriate. She apparently expected me to carry out my new shoes in my hand. I was intending to continue shopping next door, but now with box in hand, I returned to my vehicle before continuing to shop next door. Very inconvenient. When I arrived home and told my family. We all had a story from Sport Chek Collingwood. My husband had bought 3 shirts and had to carry them to the car without a bag because he did not want to pay the two dollars, but did not have a bag. He expected bags to be perhaps 30 cents for which he would have purchased one. According to her, the money from the bags are directed to the store’s charity ( of which SportChek gets the credit from our generosity and charity tax break). But, she did not give me a choice with the box. It was either carry out the shoes by hand, or purchase a bag. I did not bring my own bag. Salespeople lacking knowledge and indifferent service, overpriced shoes and now you can’t take back your shoes without a box, but without any permission from customer, box was taken away? Really? Who is paying here? I can, and will shop elsewhere. Collingwood, Ontario Sports Chek will never see me and I intend to tell everyone I know, including those on my social media account. PS: I bought a 75 dollar pair of Nikes there last year— they lasted 3 months before they lost their support and now both soles are peeling from the upper. Cheap shoes sold there for too much money. Amazon.ca will be a better choice and will provide better customer service than the zombie sales team at SportChek, Collingwood Ontario May 25, 2024.

Went specially to sports check to encourage a Canadian company. Research the product I wanted, selected the size, then payment...2 days later to get an email that my order was cancel as the product was not available...went through that whole exercise for nothing...what a waste of my time. If a product is not available...take it off your selection...and this is not the first time this happens...but this is last...I’ll shop somewhere else.

Worst customer service. Order a pair of shoes for my fiance, the time I placed the order it showed item will arrive within 3-7 business days. But now I can see it is arriving after 20 days I’ve placed the order. I called them to fix this for me so that I can surprise my fiance with a pair of shoes on his birthday and the girl I was talking to was super rude and said sportcheck can’t do anything & I will have to wait for it and return it when It will arrive. And she said she did left a note for canada post to speed up the process but I know Canada Post does not do that because before calling her I called canada post and they said they can’t help it. I told her that I will stay on call until u get a response back from canada post and without saying anything she put me on a hold. I felt so disrespectful. This is so bad. They should know how to respect their customers who are giving them business

I do not like the idea of rating a company poorly, however, I feel that I cannot let this go! Without getting into details, their return policy is ridiculous. I have being a fairly loyal client for many years and will not shop there any more. We are in the midst of a Pandemic, you would think they would appreciate the support of their clients and try to work with them.

everything shows as in stock on website to lure you to buy, then once you order after a few days or weeks then they send you an email telling you all the sale items from your order had to be cancelled because they apparently cant find the remaining stock that they had initially advertised. very dishonest and deceptive business practice!

I'd prefer to give 0 stars! I ordered a nice pair of Oakley sunglasses for a Christmas gift. The order was confirmed at the time of ordering, so I moved on and waited for the delivery day. Delivery day that never came. They kicked my order out of the system! There was no attempt to contact me other than an email that was mixed in with all the plethora of advertising they send so was overlooked. There was no phone call. WHY do they take my phone number on the order if they aren't going to call when something goes wrong?!? I phoned them, only to get a huge run around with them trying to blame my credit card, which I knew was a totally invalid excuse to get rid of me. I checked it out with my financial institution and called them back within the hour. Spoke to a different, actually lovely, person the 2nd time. She sounded surprised that the first person had tried to blame my credit card. Of course by now there is no stock and they wouldn't even offer anything for a substitute at a comparable price. They offered me something more than twice as expensive for an insulting mere 15% discount. I have finished my shopping and I am trying to stay home for Covid. Now I have to drive over an hour away to go shopping because nothing will arrive in time now. I will be remembering this experience and will shop elsewhere in the future. I've spent nearly $700 in your stores this past year. Buh bye!

You stopped selling too name snow brands, you are lacking staff and we had to go to another department to find someone to help us while not knowing ANYTHING about the section we needed help for. Most items had no prices on them so you’d have to search for another employee to help from the other side of the store and to top it off there was a giant lineup and two people helping. We used to frequent this store but will never return and will never be recommending sport check to anyone!
