“Sprouts is very hit or miss. Which is a shame because they do have some good items.
their pre packaged salads usually have spoiled lettuce in them but you can't tell from the packaging because all the toppings are on the top. Purchased their cooked chicken side container and their was bones throughout. I do think that the dates they put on the food are not accurate. If I get the salads I tried to eat them within one day. Employees are usually nice but they are not enough. Pet peeve- I put my credit card in the reader to pay and was bagging my own groceries in my own bags as their was no one to help, fine. but the cashier finished my transaction on the customer key pad without asking me.”
“Quality has gone downhill in the last year. Noticing shelves not fully stocked. Produce more limited with some selections empty. No organic baby spinach which is a staple for me. Favorite brands going away in place of less desirable Sprouts brand. Sad.”
“Why can’t I ever buy the pizza kit at the store on Mississippi and Sherman? They never have it. I have to randomly find it at other locations. They are often out of prepackaged deli meat and act very inconvenienced when you ask for it.”
“Today for the 3rd time I felt it necessary to call the Oceanside CA store to request service at the meats and seafood counter after waiting for service while 2 employees behind the counter were busy making sushi and avoiding eye contact with me. The person who answered the phone said she would “walk over there” to provide help, but she also never showed up. I left the store vowing never to return for meats or seafood. Fruits and vegetables? Sure, but NOTHING that requires customer service.”
“I scheduled pickup for 5-6 pm that same day and then when I got there the order was not ready and would not ready until the next day at noon. I did order in the in the am and was told it would ready for pickup at 5 pm. They have very good produce and meats, but their online shopping is the worst. The last one I ordered online . I had to go back because they gave the wrong salmon, I paid for sockeye but when I got home they had given the cheaper salmon. Will never order on line again from them.”
“I have to say that the quality of the food and products is not what it used to be. I have complained many times to the south Reno location manager and it doesn’t improve anything. Their produce is wilty and soft.
You can find some things that are fresh but I find that mostly it’s just not what I’m
Looking to eat. I hope they improve with continued feedback”
“I've been shopping at Sprouts for Years. After the Pandemic they have raised their prices and the quality of produce is often in the Gutter. There Selling Old Potatoes and Onions that rot in the bag in less than a Week, and Prices are Higher than Whole Foods. They've stopped selling certain healthy organic breads and Brands that are lower priced. I used Instacart for a Ribeye Listed at $17 and ended up being Charged $31. I went into the Store for Romaine there were only 3 Left no more in the Store...they were brown, and wilting, I only needed 1, but I knew the 3 would mostly be for the garbage in the end I bought 3 and after discarding the Useless Parts I ended up paying the cost of 3 for 1 barely useable. This is Not Isolated It's been going on for over a Year. Charging more and failing in Product Availability, Cost, and Quality.”
“I have been a faithful Sprouts customer for many years now. It seems the quality of products has plummeted recently. I usually get a weekly delivery and this time, I had bad tomatoes, potatoes, apples, pears, pomegranate arils and even the Sprouts coconut drink was stale. I wish this wasn't the case because I spend extra money over other grocery stores for their good name and organic products but sadly this has been the case in recent times. It wasn't once or twice but many times over the last few months.”
“Used to love sprouts. Quality, fair prices, and friendly service.
Still friendly service, but quality has hit a serious low. Past few times Ive bought meat - spoiled/rotten.
And then just bought this yogurt a few days ago, just opened it and completely moldy.”
“Sprouts in Yuma, Az. Continues to sell out dated items or close to expired..Water, spoiled milk, eggs, bakery, the list goes on. The prices are ridiculous and quality keeps going downhill.”
“Bought some red grapes today at Governor location. Majority soft and mushy. Bought some 4 days ago, they were great. The batch currently being sold should be thrown out. My trust in Sprouts has been compromised.”
“So, I just came back from shopping at Sprouts on 44th and Kipling, in Wheat Ridge, CO. Staff was unhelpful and many of them were standing around talking to each other, with only 1 checkout station open. The self checkout was the only other option, which I don't like but used. The person watching seemed a little put out when I was having an issue.”
“Sprouts used to be one of my favorite places to shop. However, little by little, they have managed to stopo carrying all of my favorite things. First was Tofutti sour cream and cream cheese. Next was Amy's vegan macaroni and cheese. Then came Hope Hummus spinach and artichoke flavor. The last straw was the Vegan superfruit muffins. Seems like every time I find something i really like, they stop carrying it. I can see no excuse for any of this, and I am pretty sure I am done with Sprouts after beingn a long-time customer. Too bad.”
“I shop sprouts.Usually have good fruit and veggies. I purchased two bags of nectarines on Aug. 16 2023 and by Aug 19 had to toss them out. They all went moldy and I keep my Apt. cold. Really disappointed. Gonna check veggies now and see if I have to toss those also...was my favorite place for fruits and veggies...shame”
