Telephone operator very poor communication skills, I found it difficult to understand what she was saying. She had no empathy regarding my medical problem and was very impatient.

I tried to get on the app to cancel insurance. It wouldn't except password! So I called and spoke to someone and they told me it was cancelled and today I got an e-mail saying it wasn't and they wanted another £15.00 and a review!

Long delay to get through. First agent misunderstood my instructions and issued a Validation Certificate for the wrong dates and destination. Further long delay to get these corrected.

The renewal process was easy, the agent Jane phoned us at a time convenient to us and was extremely helpful in provifing us with a revised policy which met our travel needs

Having filled out the online questionnaire,I paid £174-98 .On the questionnaire I filled in my wives COPD and Diabetic ailments,and our address. When I got our cover details my wife had No ailment covered and also the wrong address was printed down.This would have left us completely unprotected.How could this happen.

I refuse to sign any credit agreement and if i had been told at the time that i had to i would not have taken insurance out with you. Also you took £55.99p out of my account on the 3rd of April when i was told there was a 14 day cooling off period when i could cancel this policy if i wished too . As i only required a one trip policy this year i feel i was conned into taking out a full annual policy which i did not require. I am therefore not at all happy with Staysure as a good company at all.

Stay Sure rejected my claim despite my holiday being cancelled due to a Marburg virus outbreak. Every other person on our trip received insurance reimbursement- including one insured also with Staysure. I have had to go to the ombudsman for redress. Very disappointing- insurance that fails to reimburse in the circumstances is not worth having !

I cancelled the auto renewal with their automated system a couple of weeks back and now they have renewed the expensive policy and taken the money from my bank account!!!! I now find to can the policy is an automated system as well which I have no faith in. Very disappointing I wonder what would happen if I ever needed to make a claim?

Twice I rang to make sure that I would not be automatically renewed and twice I was assured that it would not be done. I even have a confirmation email of opt out. They have of course renewed it. What are they playing at?

The price for a seven day holiday to Turkey for myself and my partner was twice the cost of several other holiday insurance providers.

I had an email problem, Asked me to pay in full , promised me my email would be sorted as soon as I’d paid by another dept. Over 20 emails later, and some very rude replies it still wasn’t sorted 13 days later However I rang the dept that originally told me that they couldn’t help me and a lovely lady sorted it for me in 5 minutes

Not great at all. I am a registered member since years with log in . When I log in and applying a quote my personal details for the quote should be there (date of birth, address, phone number) instead of typing again and again. In this case, better if I choose an another company.

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with an Insurance renewal .The Agent started well but became increasingly accusatorial in the manner of her questions particularly regarding Medical history. The level of details being asked repeatedly were of an intrusive and invasive nature and quite beyond reason. I felt I was being cross examined. This has severely dented my trust in Staysure behaving with integrity especially if you try to make a claim so I am reviewing whether or not I wish to renew with them.

I have not purchased anything off you this year….Im not going on holiday and do not need travel insurance Could you please rectify this mistake and not take this payment out of my bank account I have been to my bank and they are looking into things for me Thank you

Well you charged me a lot more than my friend when we are going to same place at same time nothing different!! ( Basic Insurance) Plus we were in same room when we did it , so i cancelled mine so why should I pay more !! So my experience with this company is not a happy one !! Plus the last time I booked with you same thing happened then my friend got it cheaper ,

One of the worst customer service experiences of my life! Spent 2 hours on the phone running through a quote, answering medical questions in depth. Was told we would be called back to finalise quote at an agreed time. Waited and call never came. So I followed up and was told I had to go through process all over again! So I did and the process was worse than the first time... It's painful! Went elsewhere and had a far more pleasant customer experience, will NEVER be back!

DON’T BUY STAYSURE TRAVEL INSURANCE. My brother Christopher Taylor was on holiday in Portugal, collapsed and was diagnosed with a brain tumour, after 12 days Staysure Travel insurance have failed to repatriate him to the UK despite agreeing he has cover. I am now in Portugal trying to get him home. READ THE FULL DETAILS ONLINE” Brit Stuck in Algarve”

Hi Michelle, As I have a broken wrist ,it will take longer than your 14 days cooling off for your travel policy to find out whether or not I would still be able to travel. Could I suggest to your customers to be very careful when they are considering taking out their policies with you as if they have a similar injury to me, they too will end up losing over £200 which I can ill afford? As mentioned previously, you contacted me 3 times after I took out the policy to find out if I needed to add anything onto my policy!!!! In other words, (as several of my friends have agreed with me) you were ready to grab my money from me but not willing to give money back!!!!!!! Perhaps it would be an idea for Staysure to review their whole cooling off period procedure. Kind regards, Kathryn Lindsay.
