I wasn't impressed after taking out an insurance, to get an email two hours later offering me a 20% discount if I bought an insurance cover on a holiday in Germany

I was unimpressed when i received an email yesterday telling me that last years’ travel insurance had been renewed and the £400+ had been removed from my account. All this without my permission. I was extremely impressed by customer service who efficiently and charmingly corrected the error. Customer service deserved 5*

I have never had issues with Staysure in the past but this was a bad experience. I was trying to inform the company about 2 health issues which were still to be resolved medically. Firstly I looked to updating my policy on the website as advided but you can only add health issues that have been fully diagnosed. That pointed me to contacting via the webchat facility but after a long discussion they were unable to help and suggested I contact Customer Services. I then eventually got through to someone and discussed it with them. They wanted to know the outcome of the health investigation but I didn't know at the time so couldn't advise them. Eventually, after a long time, they added notes on my policy to reflect the situation and to exclude the health issues from the policy. It took a long time and it seemed to me that they were working off scripts and not knowledgeable enough to handle my call quickly. They left the call a couple of times so I guess that was to seek advice. At the end of the call I had to pay an admin fee. That seems to me to be totally wrong as the website didn't provide me with the functionality to do my own update and webchat couldn't help. I have contacted Customer Services previously under similar circumstances and was never charged a fee. I still don't have a final diagnosis but no doubt when it comes I will have to pay another admin fee to update my policy. To say that I am frustrated and angry at the whole process is an understatement.

If i could rate 0 stars i would. I payed for my insurance yet the policy wasn’t started and still hasn’t been. I payed two weeks ago and still have no idea if i’m getting a refund or if the policy is going to begin. I’ve had to write multiple follow up emails to get a single reply.

So far nobody has replied to my email regarding my bank card being charged 3 times. It's not good service to take a customer's money 3 times for one policy. I'm hoping it is resolved soon.

I have been with staysure before, the annual fee they charged me was great however this time round whilst pressed for time, and for a single travel I was charged more than the annual, I am not a happy bunny 😔. Not fare on a loyal customer, Don't book late ever !!! I be shopping around next time 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Website stopped at needing medical info and said to phone. After waiting for 1.5 hours for an agent to be free to help I went back to website which kept reverting to annual cover when I wanted single trip. Eventually completed document. Cover, whilst horribly expensive for over 80, is better than other sites so now have comfort of knowing my requirements are covered

So I claimed on my previous years policy . A small amount £300 or so. My wife tripped and fell on a tiled pavement edge . She was badly cut and bruised and had to have dressings changed every other day, nothing really serious. I claimed on my Staysure policy via the Davies Group who are the claim handlers, apparently . I then get an email about two week later telling me my claim had been settled and expect the money in my bank within 5 days. (This was a claim for the prescriptions ; about £14.00, the treatment by the clinic in Greece to be paid directly to them) Now about two months later I get an email from the clinic in Greece demanding the money for the treatment in there because the claim had been rejected. The Greek clinic ( who were brilliant) sent me the email to confirm this. I have no idea what is going on. The icing on the cake is being asked to write a review for their service !

You have taken the payment from my account, but according to your records, I have not actually brought the insurance. And try and get hold of you and speak to somebody is near on impossible.

Want to check if i need to update medical history, not able to do so online, called and operator said she didnt know how to do it so i should email . Reply to email was that i couldnt update because it expires on a month! Said to call them, but i did this and got nowhere, they now say 5 working days to get a call back - just awful and if that is symptomatic of the way they deal with claims i shall be cancelling all our policies

Would absolutely recommend getting a quote from Staysure.I spent a considerable amount of time talking to a lady named Jane who was patient throughout and never once letting me feel foolish in my ignorance of certain matters.She went the extra mile to ensure the end product was suitable .

Tried to cancel my policy after it autorenewed, you have to do this through an online form. The policy was never cancelled and they claim no knowledge of receiving the request to cancel. Meaning Im ending up paying more than £100 more for my insurance second year. There is no recourse for this after 14 days from the renewal date (or I get no refund) and I am tied in for another year.

Patronising lady managing my call. Referring to parts of a document that I hadn’t spotted. When I kept saying I didn’t know what she meant she just repeated herself louder and slower, rather than explaining it in a different way. I almost put the phone down on her as felt so humiliated

I waited an hour plus on the phone to renew my policy, which frankly is absolutely ridiculous. Who in their right mind would spend £800 + for this privilege? However eventually when I got through ( having lost the will to live) the lady was incredibly helpful.
