“I am happy with the details and cost of the policy. However, the lady I spoke to yesterday was somewhat brusque and got some of the facts wrong despite being able to see my on-line application. She spoke fast and was difficult to stop and correct when she got things wrong - e.g. my age and the dates of my holiday.”

“I spoke to 3 people to set up our travel insurance. Took a couple hours. Twice I had promises to phone back that didn't emerge. Mine wasn't a particularly complicated enquiry. It became tedious having to repeat my details and needs over and over... considering I already had a quote saved online to refer to. A slow process on all 3 conversations... hard to know why. I wasn't 100% happy with the product/offer but bought it anyway - seemed to be the best I could get.”

“This is my 3rd year with Staysure and have been happy with them especially as we made a claim in our 1st year to which they responded very well. I contacted them twice this year, the first lady sounded American but her demeanour was offish so I ended that conversation and the 2nd time, I held on the phone for 10mins before being put through. That gentleman gabbled on so much, he drove me up the wall so cut the conversation short again. Luckily, a lady rang me a day later who was much better to converse with so from that, I have gone with Staysure for another year.”

“Not that happy, I did not like your new renewal price it went up 73% on last year's quote. In the paper it quoted 20% discount. Why do you do this be fair to customers who are already with you. I renewed with the national new papers quote.”

“Been using them a few times over the last 4 yrs.their quoted have went sky high even though our medical conditions have remained the same Their website offers 20% discount but they gave me barely 5% .if I could have gone elsewhere in would have”

“Renewal price had gone up considerably high despite have had no claims for at least 5 years.A few days later received a reminder by email that the policy was due to be renewed and was shocked that in the few days the price had rocketed by another £200 since receiving the original renewal price”

“I was disappointed that our Staysure premium had increased by several hundred pounds when there was no change in conditions and also were not able to offer insurance cover to travel to Canada to visit relatives.”

“Friendly agents who tried to be as helpful as possible, however I felt that the first agent I spoke to lacked knowledge in relation to some very detailed questions around existing medical conditions, resulting in the need for follow-up phone calls and conversations. This initially reduced my confidence in what is an expensive product, although I did eventually make the purchase when another Staysure agent contacted me and was able to clarify certain issues.”

“Very pleased with my renewal - I am 84 so the premiums appear a little eye-watering but that applies to everything when you are my age. Luyanda was most helpful and patient. I was having trouble with my new computer and said i would call back tomorrow - which I did - but got someone else. no matter - that young lady got everything sorted and promised to post the papers to me as I have not yet worked out how to print on my new computer. this is my 4th year with Staysure - very happy with them. Had a small claim last November and it was swiftly dealt with and paid out.”

“Automatically renewed without my agreement. I received an email to log in, but when I went to log in then my saved password didn’t work. When I asked to reset my password, it told me that a message had been sent, but nothing has been received. I’ve done this twice now.”

“Reduced cost this year due to loyalty bonus. Difficult to review as insurance is only as good as its actions show on the event of a claim. In previous years “auto renewal” led to cover being inadequate and I skied without know this coverage was not included. Check any renewal Grahamdocuments carefully!”

“After a disastrous start during which I lost contact with the agent Michelle who didn’t contact me to explain what had happened.I had to ring again and contacted a new agent and go through all questions again.An agreement was reached and I renewed my policy.”
