The paperwork received by email says we were to be automatically renewed as existing customers for the next year's policy, nothing for you to do. Yet the next line says press here to renew your policy. Why if it automatically renews. On ringing to clarify the situation we were told we had to pay now. We do hope we are not charged again in 12 days when our policy is renewed. Very confusing. Needs to be simpler as we were paying by direct debit anyway.

Have used Staysure several times over the past few years and everything has always been excellent. Received a text with a discount code for 20% off this was not meant to be deducted when paying Unfortunately this was not applied so had to pay full amount will look elsewhere next time .

Big bump up in premiums. Getting significantly more costly, running well ahead of inflation rises. Insurance industry seems to have its public over a barrel. Not much alternative attractive competition.

The person I eventually spoke to after listening to excessive blurb at the beginning of the call was very polite and reacted well to my frustration. The eventual quote for holiday insurance seemed reasonable. I assume you realise people will accept your quotation because they can't stand the thought of going through similar with another company!

The people I spoke to were very nice the first person I spoke to said he would ring me back in one hour so I could check on something but he never did so had to ring and go through everything again with new person who was very nice . If they say they will ring you they should but never do which is very annoying

Margaret the agent was really great - very helpful and listened to my complicated medical issues. The reason for the low star rating was for the cost 1000% increase from £72 to £705 as my medical situation has changed! I've been discharged and declared fit to travel. Very disappointing and can only hope that if I ever do have to make a claim there won't be any problem!

Travel insurance meets my demands for cover on my Special Holiday this year to Cambodia and Vietnam. I just hope everything goes well and that I do not have to call Staysure Thank you for your time and patience when booking my insurance. My friend has also booked her insurance with Staysure

I was not happy with some of the medical questions, which were frankly ludicrous, so I am sorry but you have not made me happy. I have been using Staysure for years and the agent this time was not as helpful or knowledgeable as others have been. I can explain further if you would like to contact me by phone.

Booked travel insurance for two destinations when I got paperwork it only had one phoned straight away to let you know and got charged 50 pounds as pensioners this is a lot of money for a mistake we did not make.

The quote was good but details incorrect when policy sent, after a long conversation on line I asked for a refund as the price had changed. I tried to book a different insurance but despite repeated attempts the site just would not enter my age correctly no matter how many times I tried and despite having my correct date of birth! I would have like to have used them but far too exhausting to keep checking they have the details finally correct. I will wait to see how long the refund takes now.

I added 100 days cover last year at cost of £31.00 to my policy. You can’t do that now unless you buy the most expensive policy and the pay an extra cost of £100 on top of the expensive policy. Rather a large increase. I cancelled and went with another insurer with 90 days cover and all the same benefits but £100 cheaper!

Wanted to renew my policy and clicked on the button on the email reminder from Staysure. Thought it would be fast and easy but the screens that opened up were quite ambiguous. Why do you click on a screen to amend the policy when you simply want to renew. Wasn't clear how to proceed to renew so started down the amend route, and after loads of questions ended up with a quote a lot higher than that quoted on the 'invite to renew email'. Had to start all over again. Not needed to make a claim so can't comment on performance after purchase.

I had issues with the website - not enough prompts to disclose medical treatments not specified in the dropdown menu, a glitch in the autofill that showed an incorrect age which could not be altered. Also one medical treatment successfully concluded a year ago was enough to double the prospective premium - and not declaring it would have invalidated any claim. On the other hand, it was relatively easy to speak to someone and there was no quibble about refunding the premium I had already purchased.
