Everything was fine except I forgot to put in the Black Friday code so missed the discount. It would have helped to have been given that automatically

Felt interrogated by your operative. He was overly pushy and didn't understand basic terminology. I was stuck on the phone for ages to him - our travel insurance has never ever cost as much, so I doubt we would come back to Staysure again. Also don't think the person was UK based as there was so much he just couldn't understand - not language as such, but terminology. Found the whole call extremely stressful. I actually asked how long he had been doing the job and he said 12 months. He wasn't rude, just lacking in knowledge.

Very disappointed. I have been a customer of of Staysure for a number of years now and have never made a claim. Initially they tried to increase my premium by about 300%. After a number of very stressful discussions on the phone they agreed to an increase in premium of ONLY 75%. I needed the cover and so I was over a barrel.

Staysures assistant was absolutely awful. Whilst taking down my details upon purchasing my insurance she kept switching her telephone to mute and was laughing and giggling with her colleagues. This resulted in her emailing me details that were not for the holiday that I had just purchased but one for a different destination on a different date and a different price to the one I had just been quoted for by telephone. Subsequent telephone conversations with two different members of Staysures team have hopefully rectified the situation. Time will tell.

I have 12 months travel insurance, worldwide, which is shortly due for renewal. As well as renewing, I wanted to cut down to European cover. I phoned and heard that lines were 'exceptionally busy at this time' (13.30), so I asked for a call-back, expected in about 10-15 minutes. It never came. After waiting about 20 minutes, I went on line, and found my account without any problem, and got nowhere, tried the help chat, which made it sound easy: 'select the tab', but there wasn’t a tab. Ah! I was on auto-renewal, so perhaps I should make the change to my existing policy. So phoned again 30 minutes or so wait, then a helpful lady wrestled with the 'problem', when my cordless phone cut out. Full marks to her as she rang back. And finally, 3 hours from the start, success and an email confirming a minute later.

When you phone for travel insurance, there are medical conditions that have to be declared and discussed. Speaking to someone who understands is so important. We were on the phone for nearly an hour and came away with absolutely zero confidence that we would be covered if we’d any issues on holiday. All call handlers should have basic training in a wide range of medical issues instead of just reading off a screen. There was also A LOT of back round noise from the call handler. Either in a call centre or working from home. Either way, this did not help with the fact that she had no understanding of the medical issues being discussed. Very unimpressed!! We used Staysure last year and the guy was great. So much more professional. Please make sure staff are able to understand medical terminology before working in this kind of role!

The First Lady I spoke to on 27/09/25 was most helpful and after raising all the usual questions gave me a quote for a single trip holiday insurance. I wanted cancellation cover of £6k but no policy would provide that amount other than Signature with cancellation cover of £10k. I said I would explore other avenues and asked her to call back after 10:00 today. She did not. I spoke to another person and he said that he would revert in 10 minutes, He did not. I rang again this afternoon and was told my call would be answered in 3 minutes, I rang off after ringing for 14 minutes.

I had telephoned on 3 and on the last lapse of cover got cut off. Frustrating Had I never dealt with Staysure before I would not have returned onto this experience. However on the 4th attempt, I persuaded, it was painful and drawn out, However got there In the end. Again long and drawn out and unnecessarily…longwinded. I would not choose to go through this process again, especially as I have used You several times previously.

My policy had not downloaded so I tried to get in touch on Saturday to no avail, had to wait until a 20 minute call took place from Tenerife to sort it out on Monday

Having read 20% off for quotes up to 30th September assumed it would be applied automatically. However I was not given the discount then noticed in my paper bought later in day there was a code to be applied. Most disappointed, feel this was most confusing way to advertise a discount.

Customer Service is below average at best. When a policy is cancelled within the 2 week cooling off period there is no email confirmation, so the only way to ensure this is in fact completed is to keep checking banking records. Such bad service IMO!

51 pages of small print is overload. A couple of pages of headlines to travel with us would be preferable.

The spelling of my name is incorrect and all attempts to correct it have failed. In case of a claim I am unsure whether it would be upheld because of this issue. My name has got a Q in it which is incorrect.

Had issue logging in to my account linc on email didnt seem to work password reset didnt work. Managed to login thro web site but it took a bit of time. The desire to get hold of my money was a bit to much at times staysure maybe should have a bit more confidense in theyre products

Advisor ok and tried to help but price up ridiculously from last year despite only minor changes. Ridiculously expensive and paying more for less cover than last year but to be fair I didn’t shop round that much. Will do research before using again. Disappointed is an understatement.

Premium went up by 25% with no changes. They give you a number to speak to someone but all automated with no possibility to speak to human.
