“Stay away from this company if you are a restaurant and need to move your tables. Bases and hardware are cheaply made, and snap easily. Customer service offers no solution, and only puts blame back on the business.”

We take all customer feedback seriously and want to provide some clarification for the benefit of both current and future clients considering our products. Our synthetic teak table tops and steel bases are a popular and proven combination, used by hundreds of commercial clients. The steel bases are designed to be heavy-duty for maximum stability and durability. However, they are not intended to be moved by lifting the table from the teak top, as this can put stress on the connection points. For customers who prefer a lighter option, we also offer aluminum bases that are fully compatible with our teak tops. All of our product specifications—including materials and weights—are clearly listed on our website so clients can make informed choices. In your case, a specific request was made specifically for a “sturdy” base, which is why our team recommended the steel version. With that in mind, we feel your review does not accurately reflect either the quality of our products or the level of service we strive to provide. That said, we’re always happy to assist and would welcome the opportunity to help find a solution that better suits your needs, including accepting an exchange of the bases. “Our chairs arrived and they are absolutely beautiful. There was a problem, but fortunately, we were able to contact Lisa. And she solved the problem. We had some other issues, but fortunately, Lisa was able to take care of everything. You're lucky to have such a great employee. And your products are outstanding.”

“We are disappointed with our experience purchasing chairs from Superior Seating. When we priced 50 chairs, the price was $99 per chair. Within a month when we received news we had been awarded the grant needed to purchase them, the price went up to $129 per chair. Despite repeated requests to honor the previous month's price for our public library, we were denied. This was the first of a number of disappointments. We ordered and paid for lift gate service, but this was not provided. We were offered a credit of $150 for lift gate service, but we are not prepared to order any other chairs. In addition to the dangerous delivery, the back leg chair glides are not secured and continue to come loose. Unloading 50 chairs, our employees were overwhelmed: one employee is still suffering a large bruise covering over half of one of her forearms. We are pleased with chairs themsleves; they seem sturdy and are as pictured, but the process has been troublesome and frustrating. Thank you for requesting feedback. We hope this helps.”

Thank you for sharing your review. To address the pricing, lots can and does happen in 1 month. We reserve the right to change the pricing of our items without notice to reflect the current economic environment. The quote you were provided had expired and the new pricing was in effect. In regards to the lift gate, we apologize for the miscommunication with the trucking company. Most of our orders are shipped as "loose" freight - not on pallets in order to save money for our customers. Therefore it is not unusual for the truck to NOT to have a lift gate. As you stated, we offered a credit of $150. We can of course issue a check to you if you are not ready to order another batch of chairs. The glides may have gotten loose during transport and we happy to send you more, had you mentioned it in our correspondence. Feel free to reach out to request the glides and the refund of $150.
