The double boxes cookie and squares were delicious as usual. Unfortunately they arrived a day later than the date I had selected and weren't there for the birthday party.

We're glad you enjoyed the treats, but are sorry to hear it didn't arrive on the date you were hoping for. It looks like someone on our team did reach out about that prior to shipping; unfortunately because the gift had to ship with FedEx, we weren't able to target the Monday ship date chosen as it takes 1 business day with FedEx and they don't ship over the weekend, so we had to send it Monday to arrive Tuesday. We always do our best to accommodate the dates requested but we are subject to FedEx timelines. Regardless, we appreciate your feedback and hope the birthday was still enjoyed!

I delivered the cupcakes to a friend for her birthday. Found out today that she does not like cakes, but the icing (which I do not like). Preferred your cookies even though they were quite sweet.

Ordered a Fathers Day cookie for m’y Dad. It was delicious and exactly what we asked for, but the box was flipped upside down before being placed in the bag for delivery and all the icing was stuck on the box lid.

We're glad to hear the cookie cake was enjoyed but we're sorry to hear the box was somehow flipped over! Unfortunately the delivery did not go as planned - it was not delivered at all. I was disappointed as this was a special gift. I did however receive a full refund.

Sometimes because of security policies with buildings, our drivers are not able to gain access if the recipient is not available to receive the package. It was good. My friend said the cookies were hard and not as good as the bars. Punctual delivery. Probably won’t order again as the price wasn’t worth the product. But again she said the bars were her favourite part!

The delivery of the cake was just perfect, and the packaging is very nice, with warm colors. My regret is unfortunately the cake itself, because it mostly a lot of sugar and butter. I could not finish the simple slice I cut off for myself. There is no softness, lightness or taste subtleties to the cake.

I have ordered from sweet flour for years and this is the first time the cookie was stale. It was dry and we had to microwave it to eat. I ended up throwing half of it out.

I ordered these cookies because of all the great reviews. I was really looking forward to some delicious cookies. The packaging was very nice. The shortbread was okay, they looked pretty. The 6 assorted cookies didn’t seem very fresh and tasted okay. Unfortunately a little disappointed.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear you didn't love everything you tried. Everything is baked fresh to order so the cookies were definitely shipped fresh, but sometimes with FedEx delivery, they can get a little cold from being on the trucks which can affect the perception of freshness. Heating them up a bit in the microwave is a great trick to refresh them! We hope you'll try us again sometime soon.

- The cookies were pretty underwhelming for the price. They were just basic chocolate chip cookies that were too sweet, and they were very small. - Cookies got stale within 3 days while sealed in the bag. My guests were disappointed by this. - Shipping was fast.

We're sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience with us. With our cookies, we use only all-natural ingredients and no preservatives, so they may not last as long as cookies with preservatives in them but they typically stay fresh for up to 5 days. The cookie packs should have been fine so we can understand why you'd be disappointed to find otherwise. Could not use my coupon code as it would not accept it, Order process is not convienient. Product is great, ordering was a hassle.

The presentation was beautiful. However, I was disappointed in the selection. I was looking forward to different varieties and thought there would be more selection. There is no way to tell what cookies are in your order. How can you order specific types?

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear you weren't happy with your cookie selection. It looks like you received our Box of 24 which contains 10 different flavours. We only have about 16 so it's pretty much one of every flavour we have :) In addition, not all of our flavours come in the smaller size cookie that are found in the gift boxes. To specify the types you want, you could add a note to the special delivery instructions. Hope that helps!

As always, the baked goods were excellent. I order every year. However, this year, the message I wrote to be included was not sent. It’s a good thing my brother has come to expect this gift every year, otherwise he would have had no idea who it was from. Having spent about 150$ to send cookies and squares, I am disappointed the message wasn’t included. That’s maybe the most important of a gift. Won’t stop me ordering again, but just a heads up to you at the bakery.

I sent Sweet Flour cookies to two friends separately. I was surprised to find out that each friend did not receive the message intended. One friend had a card that says Bridgestone Law Group. The other friend had a box with someone else’ name on it and not mine. I was disappointed that this happened.

I pre-ordered 2 weeks in advance for my friend’s birthday with the expectancy that the 2 weeks advance order will guarantee my order will be fulfilled. The idea is very unique - birthday cookie cake, so I went ahead and ordered and chose for it to be shipped. 3 days before the shipping date, I received a voice message and an email that the flavour I (pre) ordered is out of stock! I mean sure I appreciate the notifications and the item did arrive on the date of my friend’s birthday, but what a terrible management that a 2 weeks advanced pre-order was not able to be fullfilled? I would definitely understand if it was a last minute order but 2 weeks is more than enough time to spare one of that specific flavour which I asked or prepared it or plan for it properly. Poor management, great dessert idea but also not the best customer service either. I was planning to use the coupon sent for some % off for his wife’s birthday gift next month, but after this experience, no thanks. I’ll order from another bakery which is manager properly

We're sorry that we weren't able to fulfill your order with your requested flavour, Chocolate Toffee Cappuccino. It's very rare that we discontinue a flavour, and so our management process was not as established as it should have been. When your order came in two weeks in advance, our inventory was high enough that we weren't concerned but the flavour sold out more quickly than we anticipated. As you pointed out, we should have reserved one as soon as you placed your order, so it is definitely a good learning lesson if we discontinue a flavour in the future. We're sorry we weren't able to fulfill your requested flavour but we hope your friend enjoyed the cookie cake they received. It was a bit off-putting to get a telephone call the day before our birthday cookie cake was scheduled to be delivered to be told that there had been a problem with the way the cookie turned out of the pan. We were told that there was a chip or a hole in the cookie that had been patched with icing & decoration and “Was that OK with us?” While the honesty is nice, and we were reassuringly told that the cookie looked great and was up to your high standards, it was still off-putting. It should either look nice enough that a call isn’t necessary, or else you bake it again, I think. For the record, the cookie look great when received - all the more reason I would have preferred to skip the call that caused all the concern. We also found the cookie to be bland. For a flavour named “chocolate toffee cappuccino”, we expected a hint of coffee or mocha. Instead it was just bland, not terribly sweet or decadent, just OK.

Had a bad first order, cookies were late cause they shipped late and they weren't received on time. Cookies were reimbursed so good after service care.

From a value perspective this falls short. Presentation was lost when everything was wrapped individually losing that artisan feel and seemed much more of a commodity type product. Taste was very good and delivery was on time but the company tells you that’s outside of their control so I guess that benefit goes to Fedex. Won’t order this product again.
