“The recipients of the package were enthusiastic about the packaging and the delicious cookies. They did mention that a couple were broken but that gave them the chance to eat them first!”

We're glad to hear they loved the cookies, but we're sorry that a couple of them were broken. We package them with as much care as possible, both inside the gift box and the box they get shipped in, but sometimes breakage does happen. We're happy they saw it as an opportunity to know which cookies to eat first ;) Thanks for taking the time to share!

“The cookies are delicious. Although a bit pricey, but totally worth it. I have to take away a star as the delivery was unsatisfactory. The cookies were delivered 2 days after the scheduled date. I have to call to talk to someone to get this resolved. The first person I talked to was not great. The second one was really helpful.”

“This was a birthday gift with wo packages of the shortbread and bars which were amazing. The main was a gift box of 25. The cookies themselves were the best thebirthday boy ever had. The only downside I found was about 5 of the 25 arrived in piece. Would try an order of bars next.”

“Everything was excellent (except for the chocolate shortbread - they were a little dry and powdery). The bars were fantastic and the cookies were amazing. I will definitely order from you again when I need to impress my wife with how much I love her!”

“I ordered Cookie cake and mini cupcakes for a farewell lunch. Everything was delicious. The only thing I would say is that the mini cupcakes were of different sizes, some were mini and some micro mini. I would suggest that all cupcakes should be at least the same size (whatever size it is).”

We really appreciate the feedback on the cupcake sizing - our team does use the same size "scoop" for the batter to ensure size consistency but maybe some weren't completely full of batter. “It came on time for our Christmas party for the kids to decorate. Tasted wonderful. The only thing was that one cookie came broken but other than that great cookie decorating kit.”

“I ordered cookies for a gift for an 80th birthday. It was very well received. I included a card with a note in the order. The recipient did not receive the note and did not know who sent the gift. This was my only issue. Considering the website asked if it is a gift and allowed for a card, I was not happy when I heard that they had no idea who sent the gift.”

We were surprised to hear that the recipient didn't receive their card message as our process is fairly automated and we typically don't have issues with missing card messages. “My Granddaughter received the gift 🎁 on time at University and shared the cookies with her other 5 girls Co shares. They enjoyed the treats a lot. My Granddaughter was pleasantly surprised Thank you”

“My family enjoyed the cookies I sent them in a time of sadness. My only issue is that I had trouble ordering and I was charged for 3 packages that had similar greetings and they didn’t think that maybe that was an error. I only got the confirmation for 1 package so I had no idea this occurred until it was too late and the cost of that was more than I could afford and then they stopped communication with me.”

“The cupcakes and heart shaped cookie was delicious. Unfortunately, the cupcakes were all tllted at different angles when the delivery person left them on our porch.”

“My first time ordering and while the the cookies were not for me, they were nicely packaged and looed really good. I did hear that they were absolutely delicious1 My only issue was not with Sweet Flour Bake but the courier company Purolator who delivered the cookies. They were to deliver on a certain day and only delivered the following day and I needed this for an event. While they said they attempted delivery on the correct date,found out that they did not attempt delivery only called before delivery from an an unknown number calling NOT Purolator, so I did not answer the phone thinking it's another telemarketer. That is a big problem and needs to be addressed because I know that I am not the only person who does not answer "unknown callers". If that is their method, they NEED to have their number come up as Purlotor not "unknown person" Regardless they should still have attempted delivery to my door because I was home.”

Hi Cristina, we certainly understand and empathize with your frustration. We use FedEx for shipping so that's who should have been contacting you if anyone; for us they have been the most reliable carrier but certainly have some issues from time to time as well. Typically during Covid they just leave the package in a safe place so we're surprised to hear that they called, but we totally understand your aversion to picking up an unknown call. Hopefully in the future this is something they address. Regardless, we appreciate the feedback and are happy to hear that the recipients enjoyed the cookies.

“I ordered some cookies and cupcakes for my daughter's 40th birthday, despite a mix up on the day everything else was perfect. Excellent customer service . My daughter loved the treats she stated the cupcakes are good, but the cookies are AMAZING!!! Well done you will get our business again”

“The cookies were still delicious despite having spent several days at the Fedex delivery centre. Cookies were supposed to be delivered within 2 days, arriving on December 23rd. Unfortunately, this was not to be, and Fedex was finally able to drop them off on December 28. The cookies may be stale before anybody gets chance to eat them. I bought 7 boxes of cookies as Christmas gifts. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the late delivery.”

We're sorry to hear you had issues with the delivery; we shipped them out to account for the transit time to Calgary in order to have them arrive for your preferred ship date but we do know FedEx was experiencing delays on account of their higher than normal volumes. “Sent my son the Chanukah decorating kit. He loved it and his insta post of it was a big hit. Delivery was a day late so I am glad I ordered it for a day earlier than when we needed it. Nice gift.”

“Ordered a cookie cake for my dad's 74th birthday, it was lovely. I did speak to someone from the shop prior to delivery and I mentioned in the online order to specifically call me prior to delivery. This didn't happen which is the reason for the 4 stars. The delivery person delivered it to their apartment door and kept it on the floor. My parents are seniors and have great trouble bending so leaving it on the floor was not ideal at all. Aside from that, heard the cookie cake was yummy and it looked nice! Thank you for that.”

Thanks for letting us know! I remember as I was the one who spoke with you and did communicate that with the driver but it's possible it got overlooked or he didn't have the right phone number. Sorry that happened but we're glad to hear it did get delivered and that your parents enjoyed it!

“The cookie-cake I ordered for my sister's birthday was large, tasty and looked good. They lose a star for delivery. I explained in my order to call my sister's mobile, but if there was no answer, please leave the package on the porch. In these days of COVID-19, I wanted to assure a touchless delivery (which they tout on their website). They arrived at 8:30am, knocked on the door, woke up the family. When my sister came to the door, the delivery person was wearing no mask and no gloves. A bit disconcerting, honestly. When I brought this to SweetFlour's attention, their response was a bit lackluster. So... Five stars for the product. One star for the delivery.”

Thank you for the feedback, especially with respect to your concern with the delivery. Our Catering and Sales Manager will reach out to you directly, but we wanted to let you know that we take our delivery procedures and the health & safety of both our customers and our staff very seriously. We equip our drivers with gloves and hand sanitizer, so it's likely that the driver chose not to wear gloves as he had access to hand sanitizer. Regardless, we recognize that it's important for customers to be reassured that safety measures are in place, so we will be reinforcing with our drivers to wear gloves and masks at all times. Once again, we appreciate your perspective as this allows us to better our procedures and ensure the best possible experience for our customers.
