Incredibly pleased with the sword, especially at tht price range. I hope to see more models from Shadow Dancer. It seems that they are either low, mid, or high end. Perhaps add some that are mid-high models. I rated 4/5 for shipping since it was delayed although that was due to the recent bad weather.

I recently purchased a sword and overall, I'm quite satisfied. Website is well designed and user friendly, easy to navigate, and I placed an order without any issue. Customer support could use improvement. the responses were helpful but the time between replies was quite long, maybe due to only one person managing customer support? Catalog is decent and there is quite some variety. But I was disappointed I could not find the specific sword I wanted and settled for a different one. The shipping process was quite smooth but the package arrived later than expected. I would consider purchasing again but I hope to see improvements.

Purchased a hanwei sword for practice, it was a good sword, just not perfect. I rated 4/5 on all aspects and support reached out to me to ask if I would be happier with a return but since I wanted it for practice, I opted to keep it. Thank you for the offer, Vali! My first order was lost in the mail and after waiting a while, contacting customer support was no help since they said they have no control over the mail. The only thing they could do was to ship out another sword which I received much later.

I never received a tracking number for my package and had to contact customer support for it. Agent was friendly and resent it to my email but i did not get it. I had to contact them again and manually wrote it down instead.

slight delay in shipping and color was not as pictured on the site. ultimately not 100% happy but support did offer to process returns but i also wanted to keep it. I would have been happier with a partial refund and getting to keep the sword

I love everything about the site and I managed to find the sword I wanted at the lowest price but damn, it takes ages for the site to load for me! I almost gave up. I'm not sure if there was a site maintenance but I watched the page take almost one whole minute to load. Otherwise, everything is good!

I purchased a wakizashi about two months ago for around $800 before realizing they are offering custom katana. I have been buying and collecting Japanese swords for about 7 years now and value wise, the sword I received is on par with some of the higher end swords I own. Customer service is excellent and told me about how their custom sword builder works. I will be back for one.

When you buy a sword, MAKE SURE to go through the description to see if it mentions the wait time. I ended up with one that needed 14 weeks to complete and waiting was a nightmare. The team did keep me updated though but I would not have bought if I knew I had to wait that long. The sword that arrived is exquisite and I am happy with it, but I will not go through the waiting process again.

While many items are ready to ship, some products, like certain high end swords, are only made based on custom orders, but we make sure this information is displayed on the product page. If you prefer to view only the products that are ready to ship, you can use the filters on the category page. It took a few days before my dagger was shipped out. Emailed support and found out that it was due to inventory issues. Customer support was helpful though it took me quite a few tries to connect with them
