The ABCs of Sleep guide was SO helpful! Sleep is life-changing! It started working for us after night 1! We had taken the TCB New Born class as well, so I think that helped to lay a helpful foundation. Our little one is sick right now and not sleeping great as he was, but I feel like we have the tools to get us back to where we were (which was 10-12 hours of sleep at 5 months!!!)

This course has been a LIFE saver for our kids. We are currently implementing the sleep program with our second kid since we had so much success with our first. We receive many comments/complements on how well our 2.5 yr old sleeps/is able to fall asleep/asks to go to bed when he is tired from many friends and family members. I also use TCB Instagram for helpful sleep and other baby tips ALL THE TIME. So thankful to have found Cara. THANK YOU!!

The tips presented by Taking Cara Babies has made my experience of raising new born twin girls so much fun. My girls are 3 months and they fall asleep on their own for naps and bedtime. They sleep from 8pm-8am with one dream feed at 10pm and one night feed around 5am. They are happy and simile so much during the day and I truly believe it's from the eat, play, sleep method and following their sleepy cues. I love my girls so much.

We started with the First Five Months course which established a great foundation, however, the real magic happened with the ABCs of Sleep course. My daughter started waking several times a night at about 6 months old. We didn’t realize it at the time, but we were reinforcing the night wakings. She was not really hungry because when she would take a bottle in the night, she did not want her first bottle of the day. We were exhausted and became frustrated when the one night waking turned into several wakings. When our daughter was about 8 months old we did the ABCs of sleep course because we felt like we were headed in the wrong direction with her sleep. Within 10 days she was sleeping through the night. Now she wakes happier in the morning, takes better naps, puts herself to sleep easily and as her parents we also feel more alert during the day.

This collection was very helpful problem solving and providing clarity on how we were supporting our baby to sleep and! How to do pop ins and weaning the night feeding was super useful, as well as transitioning from three naps to two naps. Sometimes we found the videos to be repetitive of simple concepts and wished they would go into more depth, especially if things did not go as suggested (e.g. when baby refuses a nap and it pushes last wake window later, would you still offer a late third nap or do an earlier bedtime? If baby wakes and cries when finished weaning what should you do: offer full feeding, shortened feeding, start weaning again from beginning?) Often times we would go back to review materials, it was great having the attachments all in one place. We would have liked to have the option to read about, as well as, listen to videos on the offered materials. Overall well worth the purchase! Our baby is now a good sleeper and we feel confident helping her when she encounters difficulties.

SO helpful! Our son has been sleeping through the night since 8weeks old! I only wish we were allowed to keep the class videos once purchased.

This course helped us with our 1st and now we are returning to it to help us with our 2nd child. It not only helped us with naps and sleeping but also learning more about caring for babies overall.

I will forever be grateful for the information provided through this class. As a new mom it is hard to even have the brain power to figure out what to do in the middle of the night or when your baby is screaming. It removed the confusion of trying to figure it out on my own. Our daughter slept through the night by 10 weeks old and I owe it all to Cara =)

I only started using Taking Cara Babies with my third child - but if I was starting over again I would have used them for the other two! The newborn class gave me some amazing tips and strategies that even with my third I didn’t know about. I used them for a phone consultation with Katie to help mine sleep more than 5 hours at night and after following her recommendations from that 40 minute call she was sleeping 11 hours a night from then on out! But, what I feel is the best part of their courses is how encouraging and empathetic they are - absolutely no parent-guilt! I was feeling so overwhelmed at one (okay multiple) points in the first few weeks and one of their videos made me feel like I wasn’t alone, I had support and I was doing a great job. Thank you Taking Cara Babies!

Oh my goodness. I love Cara and Taking Cara Babies. Cara's advice and guidance and love and support through these online programs has been everything to as my partner and I navigated the sleep habits of our first child. If you are considering whether you need these programs, my advice is to get them. I was sleeping with my baby on my chest for the first 5 weeks of his life, while my partner stayed awake and watched us on the monitor. During the day, baby was sleeping in a wrap, and I pretty much never sat down. Cara restored us to a sense of normalcy when I discovered her newborn class at 5-weeks old, and we learned the joy and ease of swaddling (even though we thought before that that our baby hated to be swaddled!) and gained the ability to rock him to sleep and lay him down in a crib. It was still hard, but it was light years easier than before. I also used her Navigated 3-4 months package. More recently, we used the ABCs of Sleep and Conquering Naps programs. We did okay until about 6 and a half months old, but by then things were getting a little chaotic again: we were up anywhere from every 30 minutes to every 2.5 hours at night, sometimes nursing, sometimes rocking, and baby was just not sleeping soundly. So we implemented the ABCs of Sleep "sleep training" program. Now, 5 weeks later, baby is sleeping 11-12 hours a night with no problem. We were able to wean him from night feedings within 3 days of following Cara's program. Over the first week or so, he cried for about 20-30 minutes after we put him into the crib, but starting Night 1, he was able to sleep for 10+ hours straight with one bout of crying in the middle of the night. After that, he has never needed pop-ins in the middle of the night. Over the next couple weeks, the crying at bedtime reduced to anywhere from 0-15 minutes, with some light fussing once or twice throughout the night, and concentrated in the mornings. But with Cara's advice, we were able to navigate it all in a very loving, supportive way. Even now, baby cries a little bit about half the time when we first put him into the crib or when we first leave the room, but it is something we know is okay for him as he falls asleep on his own. Now, we all look forward to our lovely bedtime routine and to having this peace and normalcy in the house during the night. Conquering Naps has also been great as we've already transitioned from 3 naps to 2. We haven't decided to do nap training yet, but we still enjoy rocking our baby to sleep for those naps, and it doesn't seem to affect his ability to sleep at night. In those first four weeks of baby's life, things were so physically hard and chaotic due to baby sleep. Cara restored us to peace and a bit more understanding and control over our situation. She expresses such understanding and kindness in her programs. She saved us, and I recommend her programs to every new mom that asks my advice!
