“I recently purchased the Takoon Pump Foil with a 1700 cm² surface, and it’s my first high-aspect-ratio pump foil. Previously, I was riding a low-aspect-ratio F-One Gravity (2200 cm²), and the difference between the two is absolutely night and day. With the Takoon, the sensation is incredible — it feels like slicing through warm butter compared to the draggy feel of the low-aspect setup. I found that it starts best with the nose slightly pointed down, and after just a few sessions, I made massive progress. On my old foil, I could only manage around 20 meters before losing speed, but with the Takoon I’m already hitting 50 meters, and the only reason I stop is because I lose balance, not momentum. The speed and glide are on another level — it’s smooth, efficient, and incredibly fun to ride. For reference, my body weight is around 70 kg including gear, and I find the foil lifts easily and maintains great glide. A friend of mine who weighs about 85 kg also tried it and had no trouble getting it started — though he’ll likely opt for the 1900 cm² version for a bit of extra lift. In short: If you’re moving from a beginner or low-aspect foil to your first high-aspect model, the Takoon 1700 is an amazing step up. It’s fast, responsive, and makes pumping feel effortless once you get the hang of it. & Merci @Pierre for the support!”

“Petit retour sur le ha 130 que je viens d acheter et que je combine avec le flare 750. Un stab qui uppgrade le glide du foil en surf , tout en étant facile dans les manœuvres pour mes 72kg et ma prosurf 4.9. Stab sain , qui permet un décollage facile, et auquel on s adapte au bout d’une heure de navigation pour en exploiter toutes les qualités . Un bon produit efficace . Merci Takoon !”

“Flare 750 Je navigue depuis 2 semaines avec ce foil combiné au carve 145 . Sessions en vagues dans le vent très fort en 3m et dans du vent faible en 4.5m avec moins de vagues . Le foil décolle vite et en douceur ( je n ai pas de foil plus grand et pèse 72kg). Je fais donc tout avec ce foil . Il est rapide , très stable en ligne droite et permet de s engager très fort dans les courbes et en surf sans jamais décrocher . Une bonne portance et un très bon appui même à bas régime permet d assurer les manœuvres sereinement ( jibe, tacks , ) …. On a le temps . C est un très bon carver avec dans la vague des appuis très sûrs qui mettent en confiance . Un foil facile et très performant qui pour moi est un indispensable dans un quiver pour mon gabarit. Il peut servir comme foil à tout faire . Le top !”

“Flash 530 Un excellent foil . Je le combine avec le carve 145. Ça décolle tôt , c est stable , ça va vite , ça carve et ça glide …. Et ça ne décroche pas ! . Pour info je navigue dans les vagues mais aussi le « gros clapot ». Que demander de plus a ce foil ???? Rien J avais navigué avec des foils concurrents de cette taille …… et c était beaucoup trop exclusif, bon dans un domaine mais mauvais dans tous les autres ….. alors que le flash 530 remplit toutes les cases . Bravo Takoon !”
