“This company is better and good if you agree to the terms and conditions like every others companies. Well, I booked the taxi like 1 hour and 30 mins before the pick up time and the driver was waiting for me. Even, though i was late and the driver was also so sweet he really helped my mom because she is too old. I would recommend this copmany. As i have been thier customer for a while. Thank you for reading.”

“I operate a small taxi firm, and we are registered with taxicode. Basically if you make a booking at taxicode or another website affiliated with them you are probably either paying more than you would normally if you booked direct or paying a lot less and unlikely to get a taxi showing up. Say you book a return journey for £300 from the airport to a wedding venue. If the "preferred taxi company" don't have availability, then your booking enters a booking bin. Here other providers can bid to pickup the job. Problem is, is that this will be a reverse auction. i.e. taxicode will offer the job to taxi companies paying them £50 for the job gradually increasing to £150 50minutes before you are due to be picked up. This will often result in either no assigned taxi till just before your scheduled pickup time. Here is a breakdown of a booking my firm picked up, bear in mind that had the customer booked direct it would have cost £80. Journey: £169.44 Card Fee: £0.00 Affiliate Fee: £28.66 SMS Booking Confirmation: £1.50 Total: £199.60 Partner Amount: £107.60 Payment Method: Debit Card £199.60 is what the customer paid, £107.60 is what the taxi provider gets, The affiliate, is whoever suckered you in to booking on their site gets £28.66 (mostly taxicode). And the difference is pocketed by taxicode.”

“Booked for a mini bus with company for airport run and assigned car with a taxi company. Although I had put in for 6 people and 6 cases and was given a quote I assumed I was being assigned a vehicle that could meet my requirements (wrong!!). I got an email with details of car company who could only take 3 cases. I decided to cancel but was told by taxicode that if I did so I would only get 55% of my money back as T&C's. I was extremely annoyed having cancelled straightaway. The T&c' are far too long so it is no wander it is easy to miss this. I believe if they are giving you a quote for what you requested then they should only show relevant vehicles that can accommodate all your needs and not part. Thankfully, Car Rentals in London were very helpful I will certainly not be recommending this company and will never use again.”

“heathrow to london city, for 47,50 pounds which i paid through paypal. On the way the driver asked me if the taxi office told me rhat i have to pay him an extra 11.50 pounds. I said no, i have already paid the full amount of 47.50 pounds online. He called the office and told m that they called him back. Instead someone called me and said that i have to pay the driver an extra 11.50 pounds for conjuction fees. I ofcourse refused and told him that i paid the amount stated on the confirmation email and that nowhere was written for this extra fees. After a long talking the man on the phone said ok but next time to have it in mind. This is not a professional approach. Very dissapointed although the taxi driver was very kind. I dont know what all that was about”

“Booked twice with Taxicode 1. First time went OK despite being late collecting us from the airport. 2. Second booked secured - 8 going to the races, received an email 2 hours before collection saying booking cancelled! WILL NOT BE USING AGAIN”

“Scammers!!! Took our money a week before but cancelled our booking on the day saying 'they cannot fulfill our request' it wasn't a 'request' it was a PAID booking...you took our money!!!! And now no reply via email to get our money back!!! Complete scam!!!! Reported to trading standards!”

“Terrible service and they are scammers as I booked based on their offered prices and once paid they called to inform that prices are triple. And they rejected to refund the money despite that their website confirms that offered prices are never change.”

“Scammers. Booked a cab. They kept cancelling it until I had to pay upfront (for an increased fee) and then it showed cancelled so I booked elsewhere but are still trying to charge me. Having to raise a visa dispute”

“Scammers! Cancelled the booking on us a few hours before pickup. When I called back the next day to see about my refund they said that I had cancelled the booking and won’t get anything back! Kept calling them and emailing for about a week to no avail. Eventually opened up a dispute with my bank and after telling taxicode this they did send the money back. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!”

“ABSOLUTE SCAM! Booked to pick us up from London and drop back to near Brighton at 2am as we were out for a friends 30th. Had a call to say our booking has been cancelled a few hours before. Spent over an hour trying to sort it out over the phone with them on the night, in which they repeatedly said we have cancelled the booking and that they will not be attending. Asked them to rebook a cab for us, given we have paid around £300 in advance already, which they refused to do. Requested a refund, in which they are now saying we cancelled the booking. Refusing to refund our money! Avoid!!!”

“Booked and paid for a taxi from The 02, it was late so asked them via WhatsApp how long they’d be, he said 15 minutes. After waiting another 15 minutes I said we will get another Cab and I want a refund. He said the driver has left his family to come and get you, normal in my world when you work to leave your family, and told me I wouldn’t get a refund. We went to our hotel in another taxi and the driver kept sending me his location, he got to the O2 an hour late even though I’d told them we were going. Absolute load of scammers, do not use them”
