What can I say absolutely disgraceful company, got a 0% transfer balance card had it for around 12 months paid every payment early!!! one month never got my bill reminder off tesco app so was a few days late on which I paid double payment and what do you know they cancelled my 0% interest????? in this current financial crisis I was late as there system never sent me my statement! no common sense they never admited there statement never got sent also never informed me via there app or email but sent letters that took 2 weeks to get to me for the extra interest,, prior to that I paid every payment early for all the other months, i just transferred my balance to another provider and got a better deal, also i went to cancel my card but had to print a form off there site fill it in then scan it and email it to them on which 3 days gone but no reply?? I have had cards i have had in the past were i have simply cancelled on the app and within a day its all done it does show how backward this organisation is, tesco bank are not a good organisation and there is a lot better out there i would say they are very underhanded in the way they do things. Be careful with them.

you advertise yourself as a quick loan with payment within 2 hours. My loan was accepted more than 1 week ago, but it hasn't arrived since then. This country of loans would have transferred my money to any other bank. It is a mistake to choose this company because their service is zero and the call center condescendingly asks why I am calling them. amateur lazy obnoxious people work as they do in tesco. your work is not worth a single star, that's the truth!!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! My wife was insured through Tesco. Had a fender bender, new bumper and bonnet needed. No structural damage, confirmed by mechanic. Tesco's took almost 2 weeks to assess the damage, during which she was told twice it would be cat c and could go ahead with repairs. Got repairs done and an MOT to prove roadworthiness only to be told it was cat b and is considered unroadworthy, all from some photos.... refusing to reassess, Customer service appalling. We've spent a fortune on cabs to get to work whilst waiting for a response, God knows how many phonecalls, gone ahead with repairs as agreed on 2 calls and now we're being told it's unroadworthy and we cannot drive it. DO NOT INSURE WITH TESCO!!!

An unacceptable waiting time to speak to someone. I only wanted to add a mobile phone number to my details when downloading and registering the App as whenever I purchase something with my credit card of longstanding, the security check goes to my landline. The app told me to phone you. I spoke to a very polite lady, answered a mass of security questions but was then told that this was not sufficient security! I now have to wait 5-7 days for a letter and then go through this whole process again. I’m pleased to know how careful you are being, but I find this just a bit too much and extremely frustrating.

Isa transfer completed but Tesco bank account still not showing the cash has landed in my account. Only contact to customer services is by phone and to get an answer requires being put on hold for over 15 minutes. Gone off this company - too much stress - already shopping at Aldi.

What in 2022 should be a simple process of applying for a loan became an absolute nightmare , I had the opportunity to purchase a bargain of a car and needed to secure a quick loan Being a Tesco credit card customer of over 20 years I have a Tesco bank login and phone app. After several attempts to apply for a loan on the app I kept getting sent back to restart the process no joy there ! 15 minutes on hold for help , got told can't apply for loan on the app beggars belief the app couldn't point this out ! Was advised to visit the Tesco bank website and not to login just apply for a loan ,as we entered all the necessary details a box popped up pointing out that we were existing customers and we would need to login and apply So now we're logged in and filling out the application for the umpteenth time when a box pops up pointing out we're existing customers and we need to login , top of screen clearly shows we are logged in. Another 15 minutes on hold , very helpful and apologetic person offers to transfer us to a phone advisor who can complete loan application on the phone. Whereas an online application will give a near instant decision , 15 minutes later the phone service advised me it would take a week for an answer and over two week for the funds if accepted . At this point we declined and took out the loan with Barclays and got accepted and funds actually transferred into our account all within ten minutes. How a loyal Tesco shopper , clubcard and credit card customer can be treated so shabbily I just don't know. My wife and I own our house with no mortgage and both earn decent wages no other loans or debts , top experian score possible I know usually I can't be bothered but this time I will change credit card provider and now shop at ALDI as I can't say Tesco anymore without stammering. What do you pay your IT department for because their not doing a good job.

I received a rejection of my application for a Clubcard Pay+ account. I rang customer services as was suggested by Tesco's website and received a very understanding response from their agent Clare. She raised an appeal on my behalf, gave me an application reference number and said I would receive a call back from the bank. In 6 weeks this never happened in spite of a further 4 calls to customer services. Some of the agents were helpful but said it could take time. One didn't know what I was talking about and had never heard of such a process. The last told me that he was unable to access any information about this, in spite of the reference number. I gave up.

I own three houses and have no loans and earn in excess of £100 k a year. I spend thousands with Tesco home shopping and was turned down for a Tesco credit card. I can only think TESCOs are in financial difficulties and using cheap staff to make decisions.

PEOPLE PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL!!! I have applied for the loan today and been offered 3.2% interest rate. Unfortunately they is a biggest liars and cheats!!! After application and hard credit checks completed those liars changed the interest rate to 5.5% Those liars harmed my excellent credit history rated at 974 of 1000 Please avoid those fraudsters if you want to keep your credit score high and with no harm of pointless credit checks. By the way hour later took the loan with another large bank at 2.9% within 20 minutes. SHAME ON YOU FRAUDSTERS

Appalling! Have made 4 calls in the last 3 hours to report card stolen, expecting to speak to a person rather than a machine. The last call had me on hold for 54 minutes before I put the phone down. Shame on you Tesco. You don't deserve the business!

I was trying to open a bond and have a problem with the security code? anyway I've phoned three times today and the second call the lady opened my one year bond and was very helpful until trying to get the security code correct so after a long wait on the phone I was twice cut off which I found disgraceful so my first experience trying to become a Tesco Bank customer has not been very pleasant I would think they may have a problem with this disgraceful attitude I'm over seventy years old and would like a just a little bit more help that's all I need. Thanks John

Hello guys, I'm extremely disappointed with Tesco car insurance!!!! One word: SCAMMERS!!! I had my car insurance form 20/12/20 with Tesco bank, on 22/01/21 someone hit my car and run away, luckily my mother heard the banging noise and managed to take a picture of his no plate. I've made the claim, on 18\12\2021 I received the renewal proposal which was way more expensive than the previous one, when I've checked my insurance account I noticed that the renewal is automatic, so that made me ask myself what kind of trick is that (there is a cancellation fee). So I called customer service to cancel the renewal and ask for my no claims bonus proof, which they send with 0 years instead of 2 years. I've contacted customer support they asked me to call the claim department, claim department asked me to call the customer support department. At some point, the claim support had more "patience" with my case and decided to open "open my eyes" So because they didn't had enough time (almost 1 year without a few days) to resolve my claim the big company can't provide me with No-Claims Bonus proof until the claim is closed, but if I really need those 2 years of no claims bonus proof I need to pay the difference of money to cover my car repair (I paid £450 few days later after I made the claim as they requested, not saying that the voluntary excess it was only £250) the damage of my car was almost nothing: the front grill cracked, the plate no holder and 1cm scratch. £1300 for that ?? that is ridiculous for a 10-year-old car with almost no damage, they didn't paint the bumper! I still have my old scratches! So basically I would need to pay +£2000 for insurance now instead of £800 because they didn't manage to resolve an easy claim with pictures proof. First, they said after a few months that were negotiating with the wrong insurance company, couple of months ago they found the right insurance company but the communication is very slow. Jokers !!! I think that all this was made on porous because greediness purposes. I've made a complaint on Financial Ombudsman Service website, I'd like a bit of advice from someone that had a similar experience. Thanks

After applying for a credit card, ringing twice and being told they would email, it never happened in 14 days. I then rang again and cancelled my request. Within 10 mins Sainsbury’s bank sorted it.

I have a credit card with Tescos Bank. The app is great and the online bank account on their website is stupidly secure. However .... I feel like I've been judged by Tescos Bank. Since having the card I have used it for high priced goods (washing machine etc) but because my limit is set low I can pay it off in one go. For some reason Tescos think this is money laundering and has on more than one occasion has temporarily closed my account - which I then have to ring up to prove it was me ( making me go round in circles on their phone line until I find a human's voice). This week I get a text from Tescos Bank saying my account has been closed due to fraud, a new card will be delivered and that I should check my bank account on their website for suspicious activity. -Did that, nothing out of the ordinary. I check multiple times throughout the week and still no suspicious activity on my account. So now I have to rely on my bank card on the last week before pay day (which is when I struggle with money) before getting my new card. Tesco you have f**ked me over, all you had to do was send a text or ring me to prove it was me who had made those transactions. Not once have I ever gone over my limit and I always pay on time. - I feel like I've been cheated here.

Shocking ! they close each and every current account they hold and yet they do not put in place the resource to process the resulting switch requests and subsequently cancel said requests at will - this bank should hang their head in shame ! AVOID !
