If I could give zero I would. Awful!! Avoid! Hidden Clauses in small print around storm damage, told not covered then called and told was covered due to press coverage. Unknowingly passed to third party companies to deal with claims, no explanation or transparency around process/next steps - two companies chasing for excess when confirmation of how issue is going to be resolved still outstanding. Really poor!

THE MOST DISHONEST BANKS... PUSHING AWAY FOREIGN NATIONALS AND TAKING SIDES WITH BRITS THEMSELVES. WE WERE CONNED AND THEM, INSTEAD OF TAKING OUR CLAIM INTO ACCOUNT FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. 4 COVIDE TESTS PURCHASED WITH THE VERY DISHONEST Nationwide pathology... CLEAR EVIDENCE THAT THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE THE PROOF OF DISPATCH. THE SAME OLD GAME IN THE UK.. A STREAM OF SLAVES... UNQUALIFIED... MAKING THE FINAL DECISION. THEY SEND A MAIL SAYING THEY TAKE 25 DAYS TO INVESTIGATE THEN 4 MINUTES LATER ANOTHER MAIL WITH THEIR HOLLOW DISHONEST FINDING.. REJECT ON A MORE THAN LEGITIMATE CLAIM.. 830£... YES 28 NATION UNANIMOUSLY VOTED ZERO POINTS... GO FIGURE WHY

THE MOST DISHONEST... We were conned by Nationwide pathology.. purchased 4 covid tests that we never received... The same old game... Far West Style being the norme now days in the UK. Nationwide Pathology refuses to refund, on the bogus basis that they are not responsible with Royal Post if not delivered. Our say is that.. they are lying.. they never sent out the tests... As per their own say on their website. Orders received before 2pm, will be dispatched 1st class Recorded Post.. And First Class recoded Post, provides proof of dispatch, with amount , time and the full address. One doesn't have to be rocket Scientist to understand that. Of course.. they refuse to provide such evidence.. because they don't have it.. since they never sent out the test. SHOCKING TESCO... When we raise the complaint.. We receive a first mail by Tesco.. that it takes 25 days to investigage and 5 MINUTES LATER.. another mail... with their findings that our refund is REJECTED... QUITE AMAZING... Ever since.. we keep repeating... that Nation Pathology is they don't provide the receipt of dispatch.. is clearly they are in breach of THEIR OWN CONTRACT AND RULES.. therefore , we are entitled with our refund. we have recorded calls with Tesco.. how shockingly when they don't have any responses to such a plausible evidence.. they just hung up on you TO TESCO.. WE WONT GO ANYWHERE UNTIL WE HAVE JUSTICE AND OUR REFUND. STOP TREATING US LIKE A SECOND CLASS CITIZENS.. BECAUSE WE AR FOREIGN NATIONALS. THIS DISHONESTY MUST STOP SOONER THAN LATER. WE ARE COMPLETING OUR YOUTUBE.. AND ADJUSTMENTS OF OUR RECORDED CALLS.. AND WILL PUBLISH UNDER THE TITLE BOGUS DISHOHNEST TESCO BANK. NO ONE IS QUALIFIED .. THEY ARE ALL A STREAM OF YOUNGSTERS.. THAT THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND EVEN BASICS.. CHEAP AND CHEERFUL EMPLOYEES FOR TESCO BANK.. AT THE COST OF HARD EARNED FUNDS THAT ARE BEING TAKEN AWAY BY A STREAM OF DISHONEST INDIVIDUALS

I had a parent pass away a couple of months ago leaving behind an insolvent estate (debts and absolutely no money or assets to settle them). This was a horrible shock and I've been navigating the probate process since. I'm having to deal with 3 separate credit card companies and Tesco have, without a doubt, been the worst from the start. When I initially informed them of the bereavement the call centre operator started to argue with me about who the executor of the estate was (there's nothing to administrate as there's zero assets). I sent an official letter informing them of this and received an extremely blunt communication advising me they were outsourcing the debt to a debt collection agency (to hound me for non-existent money!) A waste of both their time and mine and making a stressful situation so much worse. I have never had a Tesco bank account or credit card and would use practically any other financial institution after this experience and I would advise others to do the same.

Tesco premiums are cheap and appear to be good value. If you attempt to make a claim they are not interested and do not assist or settle. Always remember you get what you pay for. Cheap premiums and promises = no settlement on genuine claims

Pathetic website for their credit card, site keeps inferring there is a problem and locking me out so I don`t have access telling me to try again later but still locks me out, does not recognize my laptop even though it is registered.DO NOT go anywhere near! It even keeps telling me there is a problem when I try to complain online saying there is an error when there isn`t,judge for yourself.

Tesco Home Insurance. Insured with Tesco for a number of years, but what matters is how they respond when you need them. When we did call them, they were adversarial and it was clear from the start that their focus was avoiding any pay-out. We called them to check our policy covered tracing a leaking pipe. We did not need to make a claim as we established there was no leak but they were adversarial and registered the enquiry as a claim then increased our premium in-year. We complained and yet they did nothing. We have lost trust in them and would not use them again.

Absolutely awful service from start to finish. Tried to make me claim twice and pay 2 excesses after the boot lock was damaged due to glass after someone smashed my back windscreen. Couldn't get through on the phone on a Sunday as they are closed and then no one calls you back. Two advisors were very apologetic and friendly but the 3rd was absolutely useless, uninterested and a waste of time. Will not be renewing with them and won't be renewing my house and pet insurance and mobile contract with them either.

Very hopeless bank! You transfer money from your account to someone else, it takes a whole day to reflect. This has caused serious problems for me in the past, behold again made urgent transfer to my other account in order to make a payment and it’s been hours, the money is not in the account. You have no business running a bank if your services are nonexistent.

I have had to instigate a £3064 charge back with Tesco Bank against a tour operator that cancelled my holiday and refused a refund. Tesco make their customers wait a minimum of 6 weeks before dealing with such claims and in the meantime will still charge interest if a customer cannot pay off their credit card bill in full during the Covid Crisis and being unemployed. This is despite the delay being caused directly by Tesco themselves. (I called after 4 weeks out of desperation and Tesco still have no intention of looking at my claim until the full 6 weeks has passed). Other banks such as Santander and Barclays take between 3 to 7 days to refund such claims, suggesting that Tesco are either not up to the job and a poor excuse for a bank or that they are simply capitalising on their customers misfortune by withholding their money, just like the other companies out there with poor business practices who are taking advantage. So the moral of this story is to absolutely not use a Tesco credit card for major purchases and instead use a proper, full service bank/credit card provider that can protect your interests in a timely manner. Tesco are a disgrace to the banking profession and should go back to purely providing groceries.

Shambolic Terrible service from Tesco Bank. A website ridden with error messages and credit card offers not honoured. Customer 'support' is anything but supportive - they really could not care less. Just avoid Tesco for everything - there is always a far better alternative.

Due to Covid19 situation my wife and I decided to take my car off the road and just use hers. My car's insurance was due to end 31st March so I just SORN'd my car on the DVLA website. I was surprised when I saw on my bank statement that Tesco had auto-renewed my policy. I called and asked them to cancel. They said that they would need a SORN confirmation slip and I would have to call DVLA. However, DVLA only taking calls from Key Workers. Tesco refuse to accept SORN email from DVLA as they say I could have altered it and they refuse to check my car's status on the DVLA .gov.uk website which clearly shows the car as SORN'd. I have insured with them for a number of years and my wife's car is also with them but that also counts for nothing. So I cannot get a refund until DVLA reopen fully.

Avoid this company. Raised a claim on my house insurance on February 10th. They appointed a contractor (Magicman) on the 11th who claimed they would repair my damaged bath but I had to remove the side panel etc and refit afterwards. I explained I was unable to and have heard nothing since despite numerous emails. Phoned the complaints dept today and was fobbed off. Pure incompetence and lack of customer service skills. Waste of money AVOID. Repair not completed or even started!!!!.

Do NOT get car insurance with TescoBank. Its like pulling teeth trying to get them to help you with anything. Make your life easier and go with someone else. I've had far better assistance/customer service from other providers. They cause unnecessary stress.
