“I ordered light bulbs to arrive next day as I had booked someone in to to come and fit them. The bulbs did not arrive because there was not enough stock. I was not notified of this and had to find out myself by phoning up. It simply isn't good enough and don't see why we should have had to pay for next day delivery when it didn't come next day. Very poor service.”

Hi Mark, Thanks for submitting a review with us. I'm really sorry to hear the problems you encountered with your order. It seems there was a glitch in our stock update (as we update directly from our warehouse) which caused a product that had already been purchased by a customer to show as 'In Stock'. We have spoken with our web team who have now fixed this issue. I can only apologise again and we hope to see you back with us sometime in the future Mark. :-)

“Tried to order on-line initially, but there seemed to be a problem when it came to making the payment, it just wouldn't take it. I then decided to phone the order through instead, the Lady I spoke to was very helpful, took my order, and then tried to take my debit card payment, wouldn't take it. I was put on hold for a short while, while she spoke to someone else, when she came back she still couldn't complete the transaction. I will phone you back very shortly she said, while I get help from a computer technician, OK i said. True to her word, she phoned me back in a few minutes, to advise that they had a problem, which had now been sorted, my order was now complete, and the goods would be dispatched that afternoon, it was now 14:30. 10:30 the following morning FedEx were at the door with my order from Normanton to East Hertfordshire, what service. I know there were problems with the ordering process, but 10 out of 10 for customer service, absolutely brilliant. Thank You Andy Houghton”

“Pleased with the product but a little disappointed that I paid for next day delivery and didn't receive them until the Monday after ordering them on the Friday I expected them on the Saturday ????”

Hi Lois, Unfortunately our next day delivery only applies to working days. So our courier will deliver Friday orders on the following Monday. We are glad you're happy with the product though! We look forward to seeing you back on our website sometime soon :-)

“excellent service and help with 'live chat' when needed. also kind telephone call to advise non delivery at promised time due FEDEX mix up. as a thought might be an idea to suggest that 'next day delivery' applies if orders not received late in the day eg mine was placed at 5pm...i never really expected next day receipt. all in all very good”

Our website does show that next day deliveries only apply to orders up until 4PM. Although if this isn't prominent enough Malcolm we'll get that sorted out ASAP! “I was amazed at the low price of the fluorescent bulbs I ordered compared to some other sellers and I was very impressed with the speed of delivery (next day). Also, I had phoned customer services out of hours, but not left a message, and someone called me back the next morning to check that all was ok. Excellent service all round.”
