“Promised delivery scheduled was changed … ok.. stuff happens. We bought a whole house of furniture and an adj base for bed that didn’t work when delivered. Was told they would get it set up to be handled. Now I have to deal directly with manufacturer … big headache. Also had shelve damaged. They didn’t want to even try to help so now I’m on my own trying to deal with getting the adj base fixed. Said there delivery guy was new and he gave me bad info. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else.”
“Ordered 2 new sofas and paid in full on 25th August in the Corby store and told 10 to 12 weeks delivery , we hadn't heard anything by 11th November which was week 11 so rang to check for delivery date and were told they would chase it up with the supplier , got a call back on 14th November 3 days before the 12 week deadline to say our sofa wont be coming as there was supplier issues , we asked for a full refund and have had to chase it up this week and it was finally authorised yesterday afternoon 20th November but not back in the bank you
We understand that things can go wrong but to fully pay for sofas and then get told they aren't coming 12 weeks later is very very poor”

“i would avoid this company at all costs. we ordered a TV surround back in january and we have had to chase them constantly to find out when it was being delivered and when it did finally come, 5 months later it was ex display and covered in scuffs. It took me a further 2 months of constant calls to try and get it exchanged and when it was exchanged the delivery men refused to unpack and take the cardboard even though this was promised, and when i say cardboard it took us 2 trips of a full car to get rid of it at the tip.
you can only speak to a store manager, the customer service team are a joke as again all communication is via the store manager and the so called directors are also untouchable.
we have purchased 2 large items from this company over a 2 year period and spent a lot of money with them and both times had nothing but issues, therefore i would never spend another penny in these shops.
The sales staff are lovely at the time of purchasing but don't be fooled they are full of broken promises and all they want is your money.
The delivery men have on all occasions confirmed to me that they constantly have complaints from customers when they deliver items so there is most definitely a theme going on here.

“Lacking any form of customer service, maybe they only actually work one day a month? I was ignored for over a week on 2 occasions (1 reply I’m still waiting for, even though delivery has been made in the meantime). I ordered 2 items, 1 was a pre order with up to a 2 month wait and one stated 10 days until delivery… perfect for what we wanted!!! But they decided to push back the 10 days item until delivery item to the 2 month item delivery date without even mentioning/asking. That was a painfully difficult conversation via email, the person (when they decided to respond) really couldn’t understand me and my frustration. In the end it was sorted and the item arrived roughly 2 weeks later than expected. The second item was due BY the end of May, 31st of May came around and still no communication from The Furniture Warehouse. I wrote an email and am still waiting for a response. Our last item was delivered nearly 2 weeks later than advertised.
The only good thing about our experience is that we really like the furniture.”
“Terrible store. I ordered a coffee table and nest of tables on 2nd April. I eventually received the coffee with a crack right through the leg and despite numerous emails have received no response. The nest of tables are yet to arrive after 7 weeks and I suspect they never will!”
“I ordered garden furniture and was promised delivery would be in 7 to 14 days as the furniture was displayed on shop floor. This was on the 26th April. It is now 14th May and I have not received my furniture or response to my emails enquiries. I have today rang the store (11.14am) and was promised a call back in 10 minutes. Two hours later I call back to be told that they were waiting a response from delivery team. At 17.38 I finally get an update: I am told that hopefully my furniture will be delivered either the 20th or 21st. However this is not guaranteed!!! But they are very sorry, because they are outside their contractual agreement. I will not buy from this store again and would not recommend. Let’s see if I do actually get my furniture next week. 25/26 days after order. Not good enough.”

“Went in to buy a love seat to match our couch because the cushions on loveseat turned a black color from dye from pants I suppose. The sales associate offered to get us cushions for the loveseat so we were thrilled with that and ordered them and paid for them. This was in June. We were told it would be a couple of weeks. We just received the cushions today and it is October 3.. Went to the store a few times and was told well I did you a favor and when they come in, I’ll call you. no one would track the cushions. No one would find out where they were so eventually in September we went to the store talk to the store manager, who was very nice and said we could deal with him from now on and he ordered them for us and we got them today. . we furnished our house from this location when we first moved to Venice and we were happy with everything and the treatment we got when we inquired about the cushions or went to the store to find out if anybody could find out where they were really really bad so we had to go to the store manager and thank God we did because he sobbed the problem but in the meantime, we are not going back there and my brother just moved here and he will not be going there and he has a whole house of furniture to purchase, so I don’t know if they have new people since we bought everything four years ago, but this experience was horrifying. Sales associate should never tell a customer I did you a favor, that is your job and I’ve been in customer service for 30 years and if I ever treated a customer that way I would have been fired.”

I am beyond frustrated with the service at this store. I purchased a bedroom set back in July, and it has been nothing but a nightmare. Initially, I was promised that the bed would be delivered promptly, with the dresser and night tables following in the first week of September. However, after waiting patiently and paying for my furniture, I called today to inquire about the status of my order.
To my disbelief, I was informed that due to manufacturing delays, I won't receive the dresser and night tables until the end of November—four months after my initial purchase! This is absolutely ridiculous. How can a store be so incompetent that they can't manage to deliver basic bedroom furniture on time?
I am deeply disappointed with this store's lack of transparency and their inability to fulfill their promises. It's unacceptable that I have to wait this long for furniture that I've already paid for. I strongly advise anyone considering shopping here to think twice. Save yourself the frustration and hassle—I wish I had chosen a more reliable store.”

“We went to The Furniture Warehouse to purchase new living room furniture because we had purchased bedroom furniture and were very happy with it. Buying the living room furniture was a HUGE mistake. It has not even been a year yet and the couch has had issues from day one. Instead of them trying to keep a customer happy and to possibly return again in the future by replacing the couch, they chose to "send out a repair man to repair it" which we had to wait over two weeks for the repair on one side of the couch. The repairman said that he felt the whole couch on both ends was defective and that it should just be replaced since it was only 8 months old. They could care less. Their "Customer Service" department is not customer friendly at all either. I would steer clear of them or at least shop around before purchasing from them and we will DEFINITELY not be shopping there for anything else in the future. What we purchased is definitely NOT good quality at all and should definitely not be falling apart before it's a year old even!”

Special order chair for over $700 and waited almost a year to receive the chair - told 3-6 months. We had to follow up many times because the company didn’t contact us to give us updates.
Had chair 8 months before fabric before the side seams started separating. Got the runaround, sent in photos of issues. Asked for credit or money back. They said absolutely not. The company said that this chair ‘must be a lemon’. The company sent 3 different repair people to ‘fix’ the chair but the same problem reoccurred each time. We again asked for credit or money back. The company said no way and that they were done with us and no more help would be available.
Poor quality item despite the company moto of ‘the highest quality merchandise’

“I purchased a console table ..had it delivered and it was damaged .took 10 days for the replacement..damaged again ..I have been waiting for the console to be collected but the van broke down today ..cannot have a refund until collected ..no head office number ..no Wisbech store number ..no issue with the staff but this is disgraceful..you took my money when purchased when I returned the second console due to damage I was told no refund via the store 7-10 days as it was a head office responsibility..no response from head office ..incredibly disappointed -unacceptable practice would never shop or advocate visiting this business”

“Worst experience ever!!! I bought a house full of furniture over a year ago.....a year full of waiting, many service appointments during the day while I work from home, damaged furniture delivered to my house and damage to the frame of my bedroom door by their delivery guys. I have an expensive desk chair that sheds ball bearing with grease on them ruining my rug they wouldn't replace the chair just the piston, 4 months to get a new piston installed and 6 months later the same problem is back! Since the chair was delivered June 2022 the year warranty is up I am left with a defective chair. I was told that if I want them to fix my damaged door frame I need to get a quote to have the work done. It is impossible to get someone to give a quote for anything these days let alone one just to fix a door frame. Why is it my job to get quotes anyway?What has happened to Quality products and Customer Service??”
