“I wasn’t satisfied overall with the service I received from Global Work & Travel for several reasons. However, Julianne was extremely helpful & supportive. She took my calls late at night and was very responsive to emails & messages. She did her best to find me a job in France, when there was very little available for the time frame, I was able to work. I found a nanny agency in Paris and Julianne was in contact with them & advocated for me to be given a position. It was stressful because I didn’t have a confirmed job or accommodation one week before I was supposed to start. I did feel like I was majorly in contact with the agency in regards to accommodation & details of the position. Despite this, everything worked out well and I’m loving my job and life in Paris, it’s such an amazing experience!”

“It has been a roller coaster getting my trip planned. My travel concierge Stacey was wonderful and helped me a great deal with all of my issues and details along the way. I have no criticisms of her as she did a wonderful job. I do feel that there are some improvements that could be made to the global process though. I believe that it should at least be an option to allow people to book their own flights. I believe that global should have a "do it yourself guide" on how to book good flights for people who want it. I thought I had my flight reserved when I paid global, however, because I didn't have my passport yet, they could not book the flight. This lead to a miscommunication and made for a frantic few emails. At the very least, I do not think global should take the money for flights until the moment they intend to book the flight. This is to avoid the confusion I had. Overall I would say that this company did a great job in allowing me to travel on my gap year and help me get everything I needed set up and I would recommend them in the future, but I would also advise new potential travelers to understand that there experience is based on their communication. If you are ever unsure about anything or if you unsure whether or not you are assuming something, please send more emails. The more you converse with your travel team, the better.”
