“Very friendly and helpful lady on the phone. When I rang back a few minutes later to tell her I had got my order wrong and needed to change it she was extremely polite and helpful and reassured me that it was no problem. First class service and very quick delivery.”

“Peter Hemsley is a true gent, a facebook friend and generous giver of help and information about woodturning. and from the first glimpse of the web site logo of the wee maniac lathing away sets the tone of the all too infrequent humor laced throughout the descriptions of tools and techniques. and when I have phoned the office with an inquire about stock availability the team have always been well informed and most helpful, it's the first place I bookmarked when starting out using the lathe, and it's still the first place I go to for all my supplies... “I ordered a personalised branding iron. Peter Helmsley was extremely helpful in advising me on the typeface. Delivery was when expected. The item was in my view rather pricey but I knew that when I ordered it, so not a complaint, it was my choice to buy. I am pleased with my purchase just need to practice with it.”

Apologies that you did not receive the care note. We do have one that normally accompanies all knife shipments. However, it may be that we need to create one specific for the spoon knife as that is something of a special case. We're always happy to give care and sharpening advice over the phone if you feel the need for further help. Thanks for the review and my best regards.
