Thank you for your fast service, Toolpost. I didn't expect to receive my gauge so soon. ( so I missed that information) I ordered it yesterday, and I had an email and a text this morning, giving me an hour delivery slot. It came within the hour, actually at the beginning which was good. I am disappointed that I ordered a veiner by mistake instead of a "V" tool. I will have to order again.

Two recent orders were delayed by one out of Stock item. I was promised an update many times with the first order but did not receive the promised call back. I chased the first order multiple times and once again after a few weeks, only to be told that Toolpost were in the same boat as me and had no idea about when the remaining item would arrive!? Being as they had taken the money for the order at the time of placing it, I asked for a refund and to cancel the order. The person on the phone seemed totally uninterested in resolving my issue and securing my order. So, I have been avoiding using Toolpost again, but unfortunately they are the only retailer that seems to have the particular faceplate I need. So, I placed an order much against my better judgement and once again they have taken my money and then emailed me to tell me one item is out of stock and to expect an email when it is back in stock, no eta or offer of sending the items that they do have in stock. Very poor customer service/communication and it would seem that I am going to have to cancel the order and never use them again

The parcel was left on the top of a car on the driveway to our house. My son found it about 9:00pm that evening it had been delivered earlier on that day. Emailed ToolPost to complain and got this response: ‘am appalled to read this email and can only apologise on their behalf – at a certain point we have to trust other companies to do their jobs well, sadly they have clearly not done this. We have passed this onto the team at CSM to pick up with Hermes. We are actually in the midst of changing suppliers, hopefully to DPD in the next month or so… Again, please accept my apologies for their poor service, indeed it does not reflect well on us, yet we have no means to have any control of them – such is the challenge of mail-order. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.’

I would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered a chuck that was out of stock and, I believe, discontinued. Told it would be delivered today only to get an email telling mw that if I want a chuck, the closest alternative is £44 more expensive. No acknowledgement of fault and no offer of compensation, just a refund! If I'd had £150 then I wouldn't have needed a low price option. Now woodturning will have to wait until next month!

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Sadly stocking and availability are part and parcel of the retail world. The last of the style of chuck you ordered was purchased last week and as such was no longer and has since been removed from the site. I have also ensured to check all correspondence pertaining to this order and can confirm that there has been no communications about delivery of the items to you as a result of your online order. A full refund was offered in order that you could source an alternative elsewhere, but compensation does not seem applicable simply due to availability. I appreciate this is frustrating as the alternative option is more expensive, but this is because it is a more capable piece of equipment and thus more costly to manufacture.

Can’t review the product because I’m Still waiting for delivery. Despite extended communication with deliverers twice in the last three working days I don’t know whether it will be brought today (Monday),go to a depot or be returned to yourselves.

Good morning, This is the first we have heard of the issue and have checked the status this morning with the courier. As you can appreciate, however well and quickly we get the goods dispatched from here, the operations of the courier companies are often beyond our control. We understand the delivery was attempted and carded on the 7th and retried again on the 10th. Without knowing the arrangements you have made for the re-delivery yourself (as shown in the tracking details) we can provide little by way of further information at this point. I bought a tool on the site but it was not in stock if an item is unavailable, the shop must report it * before * to take the money two weeks after the payment, I'm still waiting for my tool

Oh dear! I never thought I would give any company a bad review, most usually sort the problem, but that day has arrived. Ordered Robert Sorby Pro Edge Deluxe. Was told delivery would be Saturday, didn't arrive. Was told delivery would be Monday, didn't arrive. Pro Edge arrived Tuesday, plugged it in, didn't work and was getting RED HOT! Phoned the Toolpost, they said don't ring Sorby, they will sort it if I emailed them the invoice number. Waited, waited, nothing. Rang Sorby direct, very helpful, told not to plug machine in again as potential fire hazard, arranged to send new machine in 2 days time. Just terribly disappointed overall ☹️ It's a shame!

Apologies that things didn't go according to plan. Sometimes, we find that real life is like that, I'm afraid. Our courier claims to have attempted delivery in Monday but he clearly missed you. We did, of course, contact Sorby by email immediately on receiving your email which is why they were already aware of the situation when you called them. Unfortunately the guy we needed to talk to was at lunch when we made our follow-up phone call a few minutes later. At least he is now on the case and I'm sure that he will correct the problem with the product. My apologies that you have had a disconcerting experience.

Have paid £160 for tools, but received only half of ordered items. Good business to selling ,,Out Of Stock,, items.

we have not received a parcel that was ordered, we have sent an e mail to seur , because we live on the campo and whenever it is being delivered by them we have awful trouble getting it. apparently the will send it back if they cant find us, we have given them directions, road numbers, and localised points but to no avai regardsl they have to be the worst company in spain for deliveries. every other company that has been used in the past have found us. regards barbara axton

I had dealt with toolpost for many years . but ill health, again over several years meant that I had no dealings prior to my first order in the last few days , I had always upon resuming carpentry intended to make Toolpost one of my first contacts due to their unfailing courtesy on my previous dealings with them I had previously always ordered ``bowl blanks from them when their then website offered a clear choice between either the above bowl blanks or turning squares. due to poor eyesight and lack of attention I failed to note that their present day website offers the rather curious named bowl blank squares so when my order arrived I emailed as to why I had been delivered squares rather than the round bowl blanks I been expecting, it was then that a lady telephoned me to explain the problem and my mistake which I do admit. but I was most annoyed both at her attitude when I asked if anything could be arranged so that I could either return the order amd get a refund or return the same for bowl blanks (round ) which I had been expecting. but there was no sympathy from the ``lady``on the phone no offer of a mutually agreeable way to change to the timber I had received, with no loss of money to toolpost for my mistake, no compromise all, I was told was to get a saw and cut round my squares to make them round doubtless very amusing but I thought it was very poor treatment to a customer and under the circumstances very rude . incidentally I emailed toolpost twice mor to see if something could be done but both my emails were returned. so am I happy with toolpost no,? would I deal with toolpost again no?. am I disapponted with toolpost now ? yes verymuch
