I took my Tag watch into Watch Lab Glasgow for a new battery on 21/July 2015. The girl Lucy put in a new battery, then told me it was not the battery, and it needed to be sent to Tag for a service. I confirmed it was going to tag as it was a £3500.00 watch, she confirmed this and we agreed to go ahead. The watch came back working fine total cost £195.00, I was happy with the service given . Now 06/09/2015 The watch stopped working again. This time I took it into Hamilton & Inches of Edinburgh thinking strange a new battery already as they usually last up to 4 years or more. Of it went to tag ,only to be told it needed a service costing over £200.00. I informed them that they had just serviced it July last year. Reply back no we did not. I contact one of the owners of the Watch Lab. Explain the story only to be told that they had repaired the watch in house. I pointed out that was not the agreement with Lucy, to be told Lucy had left and he could not know what she had said. I informed him I knew what was said, and the watch was to go back to Tag, the reply to this was she would not have said that, how would he know he was said he not there, as he just said. The problem I have now, Tag do not recognise the Watch Lab as one of its repair agents, therefore will only guarantee the repair they do themselves. Cost this time £230.00 So if you have a good watch and want any Kind of repair done. Don’t take it to Watch Lab as it then puts the watch out of warranty with the original manufacturer . Even a simple battery replacement can cause problems . I now fully intend to take Watch Lab to the small claims court. I will keep you informed of the outcome in due coarse

first my battery was changed, then i was told that i had got water inside and i needed a new winder and full service costing £180, when my watch was away i was contacted and told that my watch needed to go to the Dreyfuss company for specialist repair at a further cost of £45, when collecting my watch i was told it went to Rotary for repair. Very disappointed with the watch lab and i would be very reluctant to return there for a watch repair

Keri was outstanding. She was incredibly informative of my watch model and was very professional and accommodating. The watch battery was quickly replaced and it was working perfectly. At this point I would rate the service as 'very good'. However after 4 days the watch stopped working. It has been worn on my wrist entirely over the 4 days and has not be subject to any damage or submergence under water. 4 days for £40 is pretty poor.
