I recently visited the York Branch. Hi I felt extremely pressured to have the work done and infact a bit of scaremongering from the guy there. Tone of voice almost aggressive. I actually wish i had not had it done. I did not have the money to have it done so had to credit card it. I explained its my daughters watch and her decision and she is at Uni, he said call her! I said i can't i just said she is at Uni. I also witnessed the same with another man, he actually asked him whats holding him back, why are you not having it done, but in a really 'off' manor. The man and the lady with him seemed pretty shocked at his aggressive approach. I would not recommend the York store because of the member of staff there.

Ref Leicester . Decided to fill in the online form for them to call me back the following day. Never guess. They never called. Ended calling them for some advice, guy on the phone not very helpful. While I was in thought I would give them a try, I found them not very professional , left my watch with them for 1/2 free inspection. I don't think they did anything at all other than come up with a ridiculous quote to repair my watch. They told me to service my Tag Heuer F1 chronograph £350. I find that hard to believe as Tag UK quoted me less than that. I won't be using them anytime soon. Wonder if anyone is guilable enough to use there services.

Utter utter rip off. The Glasgow Buchanan Galleries branch tried to take £46 from my elderly mother for a battery for a Rotary watch of mine. The salesman proceeded to patronise her until she took the watch off him and took it to a place a few doors down, who fitted the same battery for £5.99. Shocking!

£19 for fitting a replacement battery! I took my watch to a proper jeweller who fitted a replacement battery for £5.50 with a 12 month guarantee.

What went wrong? Everything. The Southampton branch replaced a battery in a Swiss watch, but the watch stopped the next day. They then claimed it needed an overhaul at £100 to fix, and in doing so changed the movement without my permission. The watch kept stopping, but they insisted there was no fault with the watch and refused to refund the money, despite the work supposedly having a guarantee. On top of it all the company were extremely rude in response to all attempts to resolve. Avoid at all costs

I would NEVER use Watchlab again: I took my expensive Raymond Weil watch to the WatchLab for the clasp on the bracelet to be repaired in July 2016 as they said they would guarantee the watch repair. The day the watch was returned to me it fell off and was lost. The Watchlab have not even offered to return the £95 cost of the repair let alone replace my watch. I would give them a "0" star rating and not recommend them to anyone on the basis of this experience. The only reason I have rated them "1" star is because the site won't let me post this unless I enter something in the star ratings but my rating is "0" STARS

Service was very quick and efficient but was charge £20 to make a watch bracelet smaller. A one minute job. I could have bought the tools myself for £5. Rip Off

Lakeside branch. My watch has separate batteries for analogue and digital. I needed a replacement for the digital battery. They charged me £29.95. When I came to collect it they said 'a fault had become apparent' in the digital part and no longer worked. I could pay for them to send it off for repair and come all the way back to Lakeside to collect some weeks later, or they could take the new batteries out and they'd refund the £30. To be honest, if I'd wanted my watch broken I could have broken it myself without having a 'professional' do it. So now I have a watch that doesn't tell the time digitally or by analogue. I will not go near them again and advise others not to also.

I was charged 39.99 for a 10 year old Tissot watch battery replacement. Watch came back with a loose catch on it and was falling off my wrist. This problem did not exist before I put it in for repair. They advised me the catch was loose and they could fix it for another 39.99!

For £60 I am not impressed with your work. The Seiko watch apparently has dampness on the face, why couldn't they sort that? The watch loses time all the time and that was something it never did. The second watch seems ok, but my husband can't wear it as it is too loose, not your technicians fault of course.

Well, it may not be the repairers responsibility. however, when I got home I gave the new watch to my blind father, this wrist watch which had two new batteries fitted to the RNIB talking watch. Then it made a sound once when demonstrated and stopped after that, not a peep from it since? When I received it brand new from RNIB a couple of days earlier it did not work, thus I took it into your establishment in Southampton to have it repaired. I have no complaint about the service it was most pleasant. Moreover, it is another drive to Southampton, pay exorbitant parking fees to see where the fault is. Not so happy.

Wow- What a bunch of poorly trained customer facing individuals!! I have read a few comments about the reading branch in the trail and have to agree with all of them. This is first review I have left online in my life as I was so compelled to share their 'Cowboy' approach to customers- I have parted with nearly £800 for 2 watch repairs and battery replacement- The Omega watch has been back for another battery and now needs another (less than a month later) and the Tag is still out for service, 3 weeks over estimated time- AVOID and send to the professionals- Will not use again, will be dusting off the sun dial before I go back!!!!

Have used the Watch Lab a few times & have been ok until today! Went to get 3 replacement batteries & was quoted £24.95 each so decided only to get one done & left one of my storm watches for a replacement battery costing£24.95 & was told it would take 1.5hrs....wouldn't mind but they replaced the battery already less than 15 months before. Went back after 1.5hrs & was told to come back in another 10 mins, in the meantime I went to the 'Watch Ship' & they replaced batteries in my other 2 watched for £7 each & took less than 15mins for which they apologised for taking so long! Also they used the same brand of battery & give the same guarantee!! Slightly annoyed now returned to the 'Watch lab' to collect my storm watch to be told it's not ready as they can't get the back on despite using traditional methods as well!! So 2hrs later no watch & I had to leave it with them as it caused me to be 10mins late back to my car, luckily I didn't receive a parking ticket!! I'm absolutely fuming, will most certainly never use the 'watch lab' again & will definitely not recommend them to anyone!

It is 14 weeks you have my watch and I have paid and still no news of my watch. I visited your shop twice and called as well in the last 3 or 4 weeks and no one can give me any news nor calls me back. Not to mention you charge more than when I serviced my other watch through local jeweller. Avoid Watch Lab and go to your local jeweller who will send your watch to Switzerland, where expertise and customer service are far better.

On mondy I took my watch to the brent cross branch of the watch lab and was told it needed to be serviced by a man there called brigesh, the quote I got was too expensive for me to pay and when I said this he responded extremely rudely asking what was I doing there then and making a foul sound. I was tremendously offended, it was outrageous customer service.

Was promised a watch replacement and reseal within the hour. Was called back later that day to be told that although they had been able to remove the back casing, they did not have the expertise onsite to reseal the watch so they would have to wait for a more qualified member of staff to do to on another day. They couldn't give me the watch back as they had replaced the battery and could not close it properly. Has to make a special trip to collect it on another day. Very disappointing service and the staff including the manager at the Watch Lab Highcross Leicester branch we totally unapologetic and rude. Will not be going back there. Terrible service.

Seiko Titanium Kinetic Full service and new kinetic mechanism at £125, plus told required a new crown and stem when handing in watch for an additional £50. watch repaired at Glasgow. Next day watch bracelet collapsed with two pins falling out - just caught watch in time before hit ground. Took to another repairer to have fixed. I would not have considered that the watch should have been returned to me after spending £175 without checking and overhauling the bracelet. After all the shop your supervisor could spot that I needed a new crown without even having the watch in his hand but not a faulty bracelet!!!! Regards Douglas
