“I will be using you again very soon. I was desperate for a dress to b altered ASAP and you done this for me in a couple of hours. Will be using you all the time from now on. Staff are so friendly and go out of there way to help you.”

“I asked for a Summer Weight Duvet to be reduced from 5ft to 4'6". The Machinist evidently did not understand the order and cut the Duvet to measure 3'. Had the Duvet been new I would have expected to have had it replaced, instead I reluctantly accepted the cut off piece to be restitched on to the correct size. I was then told it would be ready on a certain day - this did not happen and eventually the duvet was returned by post. All in all this was not good enough.”

HI Penelope, thank you for your comments. I believe our owner has contacted you directly regarding your duvet. Unfortunately the measurement for your duvet was recorded incorrectly on the receipt which both yourself and the seamstress missed which caused the error and we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We hope to see you in our shop again soon.

“The Zipyard Bournemouth team took on a job of saving me two suits that had been damaged by moths, and although theye were never going to be 'as new' the seamstress did a great job,speedily, and I am able to use them again. Excellent !”

“the work is good enough, however its still overpriced especially for the amount of time you have to wait for the work to be done! in town you can get the job done just aswell, within a couple of days and for cheaper!”

Hi John, thank you for your feedback, I was a little surprised by your comments considering you have been using us regularly since 2013. Don't forget we have our express service where we can complete a variety of jobs within an hour by our highly trained seamstresses.

“I had two pairs of trousers altered at the waist to a smaller size and two thick fleece tops taken in at the sides and arms to reduce the size, I was really happy with the service, all the items were pinned to fit by the seamstress at the shop and the finished work was really good, a high standard of work and all items now fit me perfectly. Thank you, I would recommend The Zipyard and will definitly use them again.”

Than you Gloria and I very pleased you were happy with the quality work carried out on your double layered dress we shortened. I'm surprised by your comment that you thought it was overpriced as you went ahead with the service anyway by our highly skilled seamstress. We look forward to seeing you in our shop again soon.
