I felt like the CE Shop did not prepare me adequately for the Washington State Real Estate exam. Even though I was getting a 90% or above on my practice state and national exams provided by the CE Shop, I did not pass the state portion the first time and had to retake it. When I used the Rockwell textbook, I felt more prepared to pass the exam and passed it the second time I took it after studying the textbook provided by Rockwell. I would recommend taking the course through Rockwell Institute in the future.

Over 76% of our students reported that they passed their exams on the first try. Course work and management of site excellent. Certification was a nightmare. I would give 5 stars if not for horrible waits on hold and confusing directions in the certification process. Live chat was virtually not helpful. When I reached support they did a good job but it took me five hours to contact support. My last hold was 2.5 hours.

I looked back at your interactions with our Support Team and it looks like you had chatted with us a few times and you were directed to the state commission to resolve the issue as we had done everything we could on our end. The class was well done, but there should have added the option of a booklet that followed the class section, by section.

Hello Honoree. Thank you for that feedback. It would be considerably more expensive to keep updated booklets printed for our courses. Our courses are living documents that change in accordance to state and federal regulations. We keep them up to date with the most recent information so that our students are well informed and ready to take on anything. We would need to be constantly printing new editions of booklets. In addition, every state's regulations vary. Instead, we are able to offer the best education at a reasonable price that you can anywhere you go.

I enjoyed the class, but they did not report my ethics requirement to my local board or NAR.

Hello Danielle. All course completions are reported to the state for CE credit within the required time frame (where applicable). The CE Shop does not report Ethics course completions to NAR. Reporting Ethics courses to NAR is the responsibility of the local association. Please check with your association if you have any questions.

The challenge with the exams is not only remembering the course content, but the wording of some exam questions are weird, so you have to read them carefully. You can get a question wrong on a topic you are an expert in simply because you did not understand the wording of a question.

Hello. Thank you for providing that feedback. Unfortunately, that style of question is often found in the state-run licensing exams. In our courses, we included questions and answers that are worded more complexly than they need to be to prepare our students for that style of question in their licensing exams. We highly recommend students carefully read each question and answer before selecting their final answer. We encourage people to focus on the key terms or concepts presented in the question so that there aren't any misunderstandings.

I was able to pass the National exam on the first try, However I had to buy an additional course to help me pass the State. The CE shop is good for the national exam but needs work for the state portion.

Average program, platform Penalizes industry smart, well versed, active agents/brokers, that know the answers due to experience, years in the business, and their commitment to adhering to licensing law and regulations. Forcing someone to sit with their hand on the mouse or trackpad to “serve time” is absurd and antiquated. Me and my agents have decided we will gladly sit in a classroom next renewal period.

Hello. What you are describing is not a typical The CE Shop student experience. We are happy to investigate further but are unable to find an account based on the name you have provided. Generally speaking, the minimum hour requirement is set at the state level based on how long they believe the course will take. Since our courses are online the only way we can assure the state that people have completed the course is by asking them to adhere to the minimum hours set. You wouldn't sit through half of an in-person class before simply walking out and expect full credit, would you? The course was well organized and easy to follow. I learned enough to pass all of the exams despite the final exams containing questions that were not covered in the lessons. I was surprised at the number of grammatical errors throughout the courses. To be taken seriously as a professional course more effort could be put in.

Hi Joe. Could you please let us know which course was duplicated? Sometimes courses are duplicated from one year to the next so that people can catch up on their previous CE while others are working on the new CE.

It was wordy … sounded like a newly minted lawyer wrote it ... it took me twice as long as the hours to complete it … 6 hours for a 3 hour course. some parts were confusing and unclear. I did this with another agent who has over 10 years and I have twice that much

I don’t like how exams are set up with PSI... psi is not equipped to deal with updates and MacBooks or chrome books. The CE shop was pretty good and the course went smoothly for me until it came time for testing. For that reason I read three stars because you should be affiliated with a testing center that is up-to-date with software on different devices especially when everything is remote at this point. It took me over a month to get refunds for exams that were scheduled that I wasn’t able to do because of PSI nonsense

PSI is a third-party company and while we partner with them for proctoring in many states, we cannot speak to their technical difficulties. I'm not sure why you wouldn't be able to use a MacBook. From what I can tell those should be sufficient. I do know they do not allow Chromebooks, though. After going through the process of studying and preparing for an exam, the last thing you need to experience is technical difficulties, and we apologize that that happened. We believe that PSI's online proctoring services are far more convenient than requiring in-person proctoring and we feel they offer a typically high level of quality for a reasonable cost. Most of our students report a positive experience with PSI but that we will share your feedback and work with them to identify opportunities to improve.

The training site is great. The partnership with PSI for proctoring of exams leave a lot to be desired. I have had problems twice that were not resolve and have had to reschedule my exam each time. I was told I would receive a call on Monday 15 February from Technology to help resolve my connection issues. I never received a call and the issue has not been resolve. I will have to call you to in hopes of resolving the issue before I take the exam I have scheduled for Thursday after non on February 18, 2021.

It takes more than six hours to finish this course. Hardly moved from the computer. Took over 8 hours to complete the course.

Everybody learns at a different pace and sometimes that means it will take longer to complete the course.
