I took courses that were supposed to renew my license. These were the wrong courses. I tried to explain this to CE customer service and they said they could not help me. I asked to escalate this to management and was told someone would call new in 3 days. It has been over one month since and have not received a call. This company and their service STINKS!

After 10 yrs of working with this company and recent knowledge of how unhappy I can't fathom they are asking for a review. I had reached out to them regarding a zoom class 30 mins prior to the class starting because I had an issue logging on. . The young woman was not helpful in the least. and neither was the CE Shop. Then she told me I was not entitled to a credit after the class started and I still couldn't access it (never hanging up the phone with her the entire time When I emailed customer service regarding the no-credit issue, they didn't respond to my email. Finally when I posted a negative review elsewhere, describing what happened CE Shop commented on my review in a very insulting manner. They offered me a discount (no refund) on my next course. I had already found another company that not only offered better content, but better service. I have been an agent for over 20 yrs and you can be sure I will never give a good review and steer my contacts to another company

Hello Diane. I'm sorry to hear you had some issues with our Zoom class. I went back and listened to the phone conversation you had with our rep and they seemed like they were doing everything they could to help even though you were quite aggressive with them. We've been able to go in and add credits to your account so that you can retake this course at no cost due to the technical issues you ran into. These types of issues are not common. Out of all of our students that have completed our course over 96% reported that they would recommend it. If you have any other issues please do not hesitate to reach out to Support@TheCEShop.com.

I found the in-chapter and post-chapter test questions very easy. Likewise the practice exams. The actual licensing exam questions bore little resemblance to The CE Shop course. Although I passed the exam with the minimum 75%, it was a struggle. I also had an issue involving The CE Shop customer service. They were very little help in this area as well.

Over 76% of our students reported that they passed their exams on the first try. I’m concerned over not receiving a completion of my course even though I’ve called customer service twice and also emailed twice… hopefully I will hear a call back soon since it shows 100% completion of my course. But system needs to be corrected

The state of Illinois won't schedule me to take the test, they say to talk to the CE shop to schedule and the CE shop says to talk to the state of Illinois. So I did all of this for nothing.

Thank you for the courses! Perhaps adding some photos, graphs, etc, would be helpful. Something other than just words to break up the reading and keep the interest may be somewhat helpful. Thank you.

The course was well organized and easy to follow. I learned enough to pass all of the exams despite the final exams containing questions that were not covered in the lessons. I was surprised at the number of grammatical errors throughout the courses. To be taken seriously as a professional course more effort could be put in.

I had problems with their server being down for an entire weekend...the error code that came up stated it was a problem with their server. I could not take any classes the entire weekend. I spoke with a live person as soon as I discovered the problem and was told, “IT doesn’t work weekends.” WHAT? Not even remote access? What kind of IT Department do they have. It then happened again, this time however it wasn’t all the classes that were suffering a server error, it was just certain classes that couldn’t be accessed. I again talked to one of their employees and was told, “We’re not for everyone.” Doesn’t seem like the right answer to me. This company is like so many companies these days that doesn’t give a whit about customer service. I WILL NOT use them again. I’m willing to bet my good reputation that this review does NOT stand a chance of getting posted and CE Shop WILL continue to offer sub-standard customer support...Shixxy support is good enough is how they feel. I communicated by phone and Live Chat.

Hi Jeffrey. First of all, I want to apologize for the interruptions to your learning. I'm not sure why you were told our IT Team doesn't work on weekends but, they do. Especially when it comes to issues with the servers being down. That said, in the past year, there hasn't been any point in time when the servers have gone down for more than a few hours at a time. It sounds like there may have been an error with your account specifically and I am sorry our Support Team wasn't able to help identify that for you. We do care about our customer service and I'm sorry you had a negative experience. We do not believe in taking down reviews. We do believe in taking feedback from our students and working to improve. The course was interesting and interactive. The only suggestion I would make is that some of the scenarios were not relevant to real estate. For example, "Two colleagues get drunk one night and agree to marry each other if they are both unmarried by the time they are 40," I understand the point you're making with the scenario, but still not relevant to real estate.

I’ve had my real estate license for 13 years. Every time I need to continue my education I utilize CE Shop. CE Shop is essential to me. It is convenient, I have confidence in the materials, and it is user-friendly. Therefore, I rate CE Shop with five stars. Thank you for considering my review.
