Read The CE Shop Reviews
Completed all the continued education required in 2023 including the code of ethics. It is March 2024 and I just received a notice from Greater Nashville Realtors that my code of ethics course has not been completed. This happens a lot.

ITS OK BUT THEY ARE A LITTLE SLOW ON GETTING YOUR STUFF COMPLETED AND SENT TO YOU .AND GETTING THINGS REPORTED THAT NEEDS TO BE REPORTED.

Hello, I rated only a 3 star because I found some of your course content to be out of date. In particular the course on New Buyers. I look forward to working with you in the future but please keep current & therefore relevant and engaging. Taking online courses can be a challenge and content should be up to date! Thank you

I would give 3 stars… I have taken my state portion and failed the contracts section 4 times causing me to fail my test… it could be me but the practice test isn’t very good marker for the actual test

I always do my CE classes thru you and always pleased, and always learn more and more. This time though when I went on line to take the classes, I do not know why I was not able to choose my classes. I may have missed something, somehow because as always I wait till the last minute, even though I have 3 years to do my classes, ( it was approx. a week I had to do all 30 hours, as I had/are so busy, also managing commercial and residential properties as well, and had to go out of town for a property that same week for business)but was unable to choose my classes like I always do. I had tests in this package about things such as mortgages long with other things that sales people are not supposed to advise/direct/ tell clients how to handle any of it and to seek the correct people yet these tests were out of my knowledge and I literally, almost did not finish my tests in time aas I literally was not trained to know this stuff. I was very frustrated and it took me longer thenI expected and it was terrible. I diid not get my work completed in the state I had to go to for the management I do as well as sell property here in Ohio, and had to try and deal with it when I returned to OHIO. I have been a agent since 2007/2008 and know my stuff and this was horrendously so stressful. I also could not click on my rating for whatever reason . I I render my rating of a 3 star

The last test I took, was very hard, dates and names of court cases is not nessessary

I was very disappointed that my credits were not forwarded to the Georgia Real Estate Commission over the week-end when I finished the courses. I would not recommend CE Shop.

Over 76% of our students reported that they passed their exams on the first try. I liked taking the class. The material and videos were great. I understand there are time deadlines that must be met to complete the course, but what I did not like is there is no reminder schedule. Or if there is, it didn't work for me. I have taken the class twice and missed a deadline twice which resulted in having to take the class again, and of course, pay again. I think there needs to be a better scheduling tracking mechanism in place. If I decide to complete it, it will be my third time and third time paying for the same information...

The CE shop would get a perfect score if not for the fact that for whatever reason not explained ... your final exam does not allow for text to speech feature like all the rest of the exam. As a low vision person, it becomes quite tedious to read and get thru the exam.

4 stars: I like the idea of planning my continuing education around my time frame. The ease of the classes work well for me. The content could be updated for a better variety of classes. Your package deals should be updated with new classes each year. Or get a new number from the commerce department so you can use agency or fair housing as a counted class in your bundle. I did do a chat with one of your agents and I could NOT get an answer as to the commerce number for one of the classes. I did not want to take a class which was already taken the previous year, but was included in your bundle. I was told they could not give me the commerce number until I paid for the class......that does NOT work. Seems this is a training issue with your agents.

The classes are good and affordable however the last time I tried to register for classes, the website was down and I couldn't get through to customer service. I was told there was high call volume and to leave a voice mail and somebody would get back to me. That was about two weeks ago and I still haven't heard from anyone. No need to at this point as I did enroll with another online option. I've also had situations where discount codes that should be valid aren't when I go online to enter. In two or three cases, I've had to call to get the discount. In every situation, the person I spoke to was pleasant and helpful but it was still an inconvenience as opposed to enrolling online. For that reason, I gave a 3. A lot of good things but it's the negative things that stick in our mind.

I have taken 5 courses with the CE Shop. 4 of them I didn't have too much trouble with. One of the courses I didn't pass after putting in over twice the amount of hours as what it was supposed to. It seemed like all of the multi choice answers were so closely related I could not get enough correct answers.

Everything went fine until I submitted my class start and end dates from printed certificates. #6314-1022 was missing start date, seemed to be temporary very. My application was returned. Bummer. Also noted chat feature is down today. Disappointed.

Hello Mark. Thank you for providing that feedback. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with PSI. PSI is a third-party company and while we partner with them for proctoring in many states, we cannot speak to their technical difficulties. After going through the process of studying and preparing for an exam, the last thing you need to experience is technical difficulties, and we apologize that that happened. We believe that PSI's online proctoring services are far more convenient than requiring in-person proctoring and we feel they offer a typically high level of quality for a reasonable cost. Most of our students report a positive experience with PSI but we will share your feedback and work with them to identify opportunities to improve.

Disappointed my access was time limited. Bought two classes and only had had time to do one of the two classes before my time to take the class expired.

Hello Tamiko. Thank you for providing that feedback. We do our best to be transparent about our policies around course expiration dates, extensions, and the associated fees. The success rate on the final course exam as well as the state licensing exam increase dramatically for students who complete their program within the first 6 months. Retention and application of knowledge becomes more challenging as the gap between course start and completion grows. We know that life happens and where allowed by regulations, monthly course extensions are made available at a very reasonable rate. We also offer a substantial discount in the case of a course expiring.

Tricky questions. I feel there could have been two answers instead of one. I will not use CE again. Took way longer than anticipated.

The format of The CE Shop and ease of use is 5 stars, however, the content in some of the sections are contradictory to what actually happens in a real estate transaction. Additionally I discovered errors between the content written & the correct answers. My professional opinion The CE Shop could use an edit review of content. Again, the delivery of the material is spot on.

I will say that I enjoyed the material and the way it was presented, but the material did not match what I saw on the state and federal exam. I did pass the N.C. exam on the first try, which from what I understand does not happen very often, but when I finished the exam, I was sure I failed because alot of the material that I was tested on I had never seen before. I did well on all of my CE exams, but that NC state and federal exam was tough.....I realize that the NC has the prerogative to make the exam as difficult as possible, but you guys can at least properly prepare students for that level of difficulty.
